- Terrafarm is a game-changing mod for Farming Simulator 22, for the first time we can dynamically change terrain anywhere on any map. This is a brilliant piece of modding from SCF Mod and you can download it right now from Github:

To address the many MANY queries as to if this is for console, no unfortunately it’s a mod that uses scripts which currently are not allowed on PlayStation or XBox, until that changes any script mod won’t make it to console unless Giants embeds it into the game at some point in the future.

You and me both! so much potential with this... I see drain pipes and road works, field draining, loads of roleplay potential
it would be neat if the fill type could be "selected" in the menu, if you want to dig up dirt or sand instead of stone for whatever reason.
Tile machines. Better yields for tiled fields. Maybe getting to far ahead of myself
I actually think that might be a feature that's incoming, all the fill types are already in the menu, I just couldn't get anything to change from Stone
Graders grading new roads, laying gravel, rolling. Could be fun. Every so often ruts appear and needs re grading. Possibly paving.

Some more truck options like peterbilt western star international etc would be a great addition also the ability to modify the trucks like bigger turbos injectors etc would go along perfectly with this mod

I actually downloaded it last night but haven't checked it out yet... guess it time to load up a new save and start digging, can't wait to see where this going to take us as you say some huge potential with this.

Great mod, I'd just like to say that the water plane is probably a single huge square beneath the lands, so it doesn't adjust to the terrain as much as it gets revealed due to the changes of the terrain.
This is really cool. I imagine this could be useful to build a land bridge or something. Would be more realistic if it would be dirt filled instead of stone. But dirt would need to be modded in since its not a default farm sim product. Still a really cool mod either way especially since i really like excavators
Dirt and other fills will be implemented
It does give you dirt but it dosnt act the same as stone, but it does work pretty similarly, and it's all configurable on the fly through the mods in-game menu, pretty slick setup. I'm playing with this mod now on a new save on NO MANS LAND. works pretty smoothly
That’s absolutely amazing, and the fact you can even make irrigation channels off of sources of water with it is amazing . Too bad I play on console though lol. But this should be a base game feature for sure.
the mod dev could submit it to giant and they could add it.
I have always (since 2015-16 when i first got em)dreamed of fs having excavators and terraforming with em and FINALY only thing left is to get fs22

Sweet now we need a grader, concrete and asphalt machines. Instead of having to purchase and use game tools using equipment to do the same functions.. and Soil/Dirt now needs to be a thing

I an still getting my head around the functionality, there's so much more to uncover so I will be doing a real in depth Tutorial once I've found all the secrets this great mod has to offer!

I can finally dig out the ponds on Greystone lol. This is bananas. I'd like to see the ability to "snooth" the land out with a tool of some sort. Maybe a cultivatior or roller. Is also like to be able to lay done textures so I can really build some trails.

Yoo I need help,I play on PC and when I try to paint with grass(landscape) the grass or dirt doesn't show up
I have some problems using Terrafarm in FS22. When I try to this Volvo excavator and the Volvo Wheelloader that I have seen been used in your videos, and from Mining guy - there's no option to use Terrafarm. So I still haven't found an wheelloader to use for Terrafarm. I'm buying and selling machines to see if I get the Terrafarm options up. Do you have any idea what might cause these problems?
If the vehicle buckets arent added to the XML in Terrafarm it won't work, only certain versions of Terrafarm work with certain equipment. best to refer to the info files on the GitHub for more info. You can add new vehicles yourself into the XML
@@TheFarmSimGuy Thanks for the answer. I'm no expert in editing files and stuff, but I'll take a look and see what I find out! Can I copy/paste text from the mods that has the equipment?
When is this coming to console? lol - SERIOUSLY - this has massive potential - I hope their goal will be to completely eliminate the need for the landscaping tool - that would require several more pieces of equipment, but if they can dig holes on ANY map, I'm sure it's just a matter of time. Also with precision farming, can you imagine being able to change your soil type from Loamy Sand to Loam with this equipment to increase yield...forever! (albiet quite a costly project). The one caveat is that atleast 1 stone->lime factory on modhub is borked, it can give you +$7M/year with infinite stones...and this mod now gives you that. This mod is going to make construction gear on FS mainstream.
It probably won't come to console ever. This mod is a script I think, and script mods are not possible on console.

everything works on this mod but for some reason my bucket only fills to around 20 percent and cant dig a deep hole...any ideas guys.
The water does not adjust. Water plane is bigger than the river and is clipping through terrain. You will run in to an edge eventually if you keep digging.
I downloaded it but it doesn't seem to work, is there something I'm missing?
Does it means that with this specialisation on a plower, we could have a dynamic terrain ? Like plowing texture on a real plowed soil ?
I’m not quite sure what you mean here, but I don’t think so, this utilises the landscaping tools in a clever more immersive way

I can't see it in the folder Modifications/DLC even though that I have copied it to the Mods-folder.
Do I have to copy the zip file anywhere else than the mod-map or shall I modifie some config-file???
No should work out of the box, check my downloading from GitHub vid to make sure you are grabbing the right file 👍

Let me first say that I have not pulled the trigger on 22 yet I’m giving it time to settle and the modding Community time as well, So my question is is there any reason why it’s stone instead of dirt?
I think there will be the option to select different fill types as the mod develops, there is already options in the menu, I just couldn’t get them to work, but it is still a beta release
And good call biding your time before getting 22 a nice change from the mod zombies desperately downloading anything they can from anywhere regardless if it’s good or not 👍

As I've already said they have to be selective about where they put their resources, if we had this but no graphic/performance improvements, people would be kicking off too, it's a lose lose situation for them

I am SO uncoordinated with the crane. Takes like 20 minutes for me to finally dump one damn scoop of whatever. Guys are so much better at this type of machinery LOL :)

Would you be able to create a water source with this mod? I mean like digging a reservoir create some banking and a earthen dam then fill with water by knocking the dam down between the river and reservoir
No I think that's a stretch too far for the physics in the engine just now, but never say never
I can see this being used to dig stones from a limestone quarry and then taken to a processing plant

You need to have the correct equipment installed too. It only works with certain mods. There is a list on the GitHub page 👍
I have never seen a more convoluted method for downloading mods than with getting terrafarm supported mods from fsminer.
I have treid everything to get this to work. it just wont fill my buckets. changes the ground type just wont pick up

What possibilities does this open up for additional dig types...particularly on Yukon River Valley!?!
I think, from looking at the menus, there's going to be the option for any fill type that's designated on whichever map you are playing on, I'm still playing about with it, but so far for a Beta it's really good

There are no vehicles included with Terrafarm. you need to get the vehicles yourself, there is a list on the GitHub page of what's compatible

It would have been more correct if it were an earth stone mix, which you can then separate in a second process and separate stone and earth into an additional production. However, there will be 2 new fill types, maybe that adds to the game with too many fill types? And the digging holes should be sharper edges. But it was a beta version so it may come in the future. A clearly realistic and cool mod.

Oh boy, with PF what you dig up should depend on the soil...and mixing different filltypes, dare I think you can mix concrete to pave roads, build ramps or sell specifically to offset building purchases?

one small thing i would like to see added later on would be a visible product when you dump the bucket. right now it just appears on the ground. its still awesome and not really a factor but i noticed it dumps correctly out of the dump trailer but not the bucket be cool to see that added later on i know its not that simple but i think its doable?
seems it works later on for the bucket i guess its just not working for the front loader shovel im using in game thats all

More fill types being added, (I've been playing with dirt in the latest release (new vid tomorrow) Yes you can fill in holes, you can level ground, you can smooth ground. you can dig and remove material. It utilises all the functionality of the landscaping tools
The issue with dirt is it need more work as it's not a base fill type, so Stones was the simplest one to use for testing the beta

It wouldn’t detect it as a pit but you could certainly dig the hole

Im sure it will only be a matter of time until it works, check out my live stream from last night (the last 20 minutes, I was using a bulldozer to level and a roller, so more vehicles are being introduced all the time.
