When I get bored with actual farming I switch over and do construction logging and road building with this mod and other modded equipment. I always have a save game of each. Rgc has some awesome productions for construction related things. I love this mod you can always get creative and come up with different things.
Fantastic video. Love your in depth and short explanations. I was very confused by all of this. I played FS 17 & 19 and just came back to 22. Huge changes. So this video has been a game changer for me. I will use equipment for landscaping now. Much more challenging and enjoyable. Thank you so kindly.
If they didn’t cater to console, they’d lose 3/4th of their sales. The lack of GPU availability during its release also contributed to them dialing things back. I love my PC and play exclusively on it, but console players are the reason this game has become so popular.
@@joelg8004well if it wasn’t for copyright laws the reason y’all modhub so limited on console because the mods are coming from third Pattie websites but modhub is apart of the game if they added stuff like ford peterbuilt western star and Mack’s they can be sued so to be honest it’s not there fault at all it’s the copyright law fault
Good day... I always enjoy your content as much of it is very informative..... I now am having trouble with Terrafarm working. I downloaded it directly from FS Minor. In my key binding options I see Terraform but when I try to activate it on FM Minor equipment pack it will not activate. I'm a bit stumped. Any thoughts or recommendations would be highly appreciated.

I have finally being able to download terrafarm mod into the game from the website/link you mentioned and now working. I wanted to get the komatsu excavator pc800 that you use here, but I can't find it. Only forward me to page that I don't feel safe with or recognize in terms of fs miner's website either. But I did manage to download komatsu pc 300 with bucket. It works, but I don't get the option to press x to remove bucket collisions. Has it anything to do with the map I'm playing om(krumbach), so you have any ideas what the issue might be? Thanks in advance. Wetmud isn't available either. I have downloaded the terrafarm mod. It said it contains a lot of equipment but it doesn't. I have now downloaded a cat excavator and a 40-60 ton bucket pack that it says they match and work together. But I can't connect the excavator and bucket together. Do you have any idea what might be the issue?
I cant for the life of me get this mod to work. I have the latest version, the exact same dozer as you do from the link you provided, disabled all mods except said dozer and terrafarm. I cannot open any of the menus, I even rebound them just in case and nope nothing.

@@TheFarmSimGuy I will try that tonight, but what I was meaning Giants could make road sweepers and tarmac laying machines. FSminers mods are good but to big for a British map.
Is it just me or everytime I use any type of terraform it like makes the rear end of the digging equipment really light, and i cant seem to make it work properly. Please comment if you can tell me what i can do to fix it.
To be clear, this is NOT directed at TheFarmSimGuy, but rather to the vehicle mods at TS Miner which is a mine field of obtrusive ads, shady links, attempts to trick the user into clicking on what appears to be the download link, but isn't really the download link. The terafarm mod itself is on github, with no sleazy car salesman vibe to it. It set off so many red flags in my head I finally decided it was not worth the risk. I've been in IT for 25 years including security, and the fact that you have to be warned "taken the usual precautionary steps" is itself a major red flag. It should be a simple click, some unobtrusive ads, and the link to the download. Not a forced redirect to youtube, a forced subscribe to their channel, and a forced like to their video, on top of a tsunami of ads, fake download links, and I could go on and on. Don't say you were not warned. :)
Terra farm does not work, I've downloaded multiple versions and updates from different websites and it's not working not sure what I'm doing wrong, I delete the previous Terra farm mod before I download a new version. Any tips?? I've watched dozens of videos on how to fix.
@@Brunch945 I don'tt know, I'm not sure of our setup and what other mods you are using, all I know is I added the mods to my folder and everything worked. so double check you have the right mods, no mod clashes and keybinds are the same
The mod doesn’t work with the latest version of the game, and the website doesn’t say what version of the game it supports. Very poor modding practice as I now have to update my game to each previous update untill I find the one it works on
I’ve literally recorded that mod review with the latest version of the game a couple of days ago so it absolutely works perfectly. it’s a poor show to instantly assume the modder is the issue when it could be a local problem to you

It was in the Github but looks like it's been removed, there's code in the configurations folder for the basegame items that have had it added, might be able to work it out from that

Great vid FSG! I've played probably 500-1000+ hours with Terrafarm. The landscaping tool rarely gets used in my gameplay

Playing on Urjanvaara map and I clear forests for farming. Terrafarm is perfect for those rough forest grounds.
I've found that maps that don't support terrafarm you can still use the roller to smooth and paint path ways.
What maps do fit it?????? I cant dig :(
If game devs didn’t have to cater to console players, farming simulator would look like real life by now.
They can do mods for PC only. It’s actually a mobile simulator so they’d lose out on their biggest market share.

One note the bucket collitions is not from terra farm its on the machine mod itself, some modders do this for easier digging and scooping

It should work on most maps as it uses the in game landscaping tools as the basis for it

Have you tried it with no other mods installed? Could be a mod conflict
Also try the previous release of TerraFarm too, just to see if that works (or doesn’t)

If you terra farm a large portion of your map will it slow down your frame rates in that area
No it shouldn't do, as you are just adjusting the terrain as if you would using the landscaping tool

yes. On the github is listed the attachments in basegame that work with it.
No you need to make sure that the vehicle you are using is Terrafarm ready, there are some base game buckets that work too

You can add Terrafarm to any machine by adding it to the XML

It would be quite easy to make it for console by using the build menu. You wouldn’t need the scripts.

can never get Terrafarm to work for some reason. press all the buttons and no menu
I've downloaded the zip file from the link but nothings is showing up in my mod list in the game
unzip it into your download file then find it in there then copy it into the mod file then it will show
