Should I remake the drop ship in a future video? If so what changes/improvements would you add to it?
@@OptimisticBricks Could you possibly do a video where you go to the LEGO store and experiment with pieces from the pick a brick wall?
@@OptimisticBricksremake it but finished and way better
Do it
can you make a video of you making lego military vehicles?
I love orange juice
Idk what's more stressful, finishing homework while the teacher is collecting it in class, or trying to find a certain part in a bin like that
Td bricks I’m loving your vids😊 best Lego UA-camr at the moment 🎉
hi td bricks
Too accurate 😬

🎉🎉🎉 I 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Ah, the circle of life: stealing pieces from sets to build mocs and then stealing pieces from mocs to rebuild sets.
We've all been there 😭
I’m doing that rn 😢

@@MortexBerrithis prison… to hold ME?
that literally cracked my heart
I seriously regret taking apart all my modular buildings, winter village sets and creator 3 in 1 sets I received in my first few years I got into LEGO. I destroyed all those sets/have a bin now to learn and practice building MOC’s, but after watching this video, I’m totally motivated to rebuild them and stay optimistic at the same time! (You seriously did inspire me)
I found you again and I break my lego because I need to build a moc but I only do that if the lego sets are old
I have 8 buckets with like 15000 pieces in each one I was only able to rebuild one set being the Kai fighter
@@MC-BricksOoh, that’s a good one!
I love to hear it! And hey, part of lego is using the pieces to make your own creations. Good luck on rebuilding them my guy!
Same
Rebuilding old sets from a giant bin is such a vibe. Doing that in 2020 got me back into LEGO.
It's very satisfying when all said and done. What sets did you wind up rebuilding?
@@OptimisticBricks I built all my old childhood Star Wars sets. 2007 MTT, 2005 Duel on Mustafar, Clone Wars Gunship, etc. Brought back so much nostalgia.
Okay yeah those are some bangers. I love to see it
THE DROP SHIP IS WAYY BETTER THAN THE ENDOR SET😭😭😭
I know, that dropship looked sick 😭 😭
I did this exact thing during lockdown, resurrecting around 45 sets over a two year period. Including Power Miners, Space Police, Star Wars and more. My proudest one was the 2008 Death Star, which was a dusty husk tucked away on my shelf. I took it apart, cleaned the parts, found what was missing (around 700 pieces) and put it back together.
I have to say, I love my Lego shelf far more now that it encompasses my entire journey. (Though I did have to later part down some models for spacing reasons). It's totally worth the effort.
Call him optimistic chef because he COOKED in this video. Seeing all these sets were soo nostalgic 😩
Cooking up in the Optimistic Kitchen😤👨🍳
my bin is so big it’s gonna take a long time to resurrect anything
Organize the pieces and it'll go a lot faster than you'd think
@@OptimisticBricksits literally tens of thousands of pieces acquired over 15 years I’m COOKED
#DeependDevs MINE IS THIRTY YEARS
IT WAS FORTY YEARS BUT PIECES GOT LOST
When I was little kid, I used The Bin as the punishment to my lego figures. Villans was transported in special dropship type thing, with a trapdoor, and when it would open... There was no hope for them.
Very smart😂😂
The bin… the ultimate enemy of an organized person
Super true
REAL.
8:05 oh god the bin turned into more mini bins
RIP your best creation buddy, loved that thing 😢😢😢
7:08 made me laugh
I understand the annoyance and enjoyment of this, during Lockdown, me and my family did this for all 97 of my sets, all were broken and in 2 huge bins and 2 smaller ones. All of them now have a place on the shelves in my bedroom, it’s always fun to see people’s reactions to the Lego draping my room. It was a great family building task and ended being my favourite memory of Lockdown, love seeing others doing this as well. Thank you so much for reminding me of that time of light in such a dark time.
That's honestly a super cool family project. And 97 sets?! That sounds deserving of a spot in the Guinness book of world records
Yeah, it was great fun, took us 4 months in total because we had to order some new parts that had unfortunately been lost to the vacuum cleaner. Not sure 97 is record worthy, but it was a lot to do, especially some of the huge sets we had to build.
@@OptimisticBricksyou should remake your dropship but better
Ain't no way I'm just going to sacrifice my own Creations just to make a Lego sets
That's valid
Why would you destroy it instead buying the parts in brick link I think
@@user-mx8fs6vc2kcuz the whole point of lego is to make ur own creations from the parts u have?💀
and most of ur get lego sets as gifts instead of buying them ourself
@@Kai-om5deThat’s only really true for children. Adults don’t get much for gifts like children do, so we have to buy them ourselves.
@@xTwilightWolvesx yeah thats what i mean i got all my lego sets when i was a kid and i never realy got anymore sets after that
1:31 Batman drowned the end
That scene with the aqua raiders ship shooting the shark was great! Really captured the energy you can get from a set like that!
Peak video, but please, can you do a sequel to a video where you made your own lego theme?
Part 2? (That would be awesome)
That scream at 6:26 😂
I used to do this in 2020, and honestly it was the best thing i did in my free time, brought back old sets i even frogot o owned, the nostalgia of holding them again!
I still remener those power miners ads from when i was little, indeed true nostalgia
Your enthusiasm is contagious. It made the video even more enjoyable.
I ABSOLUTELY regret taking apart my green lego cargo train that i got from 2018
now you motivated me and i can have it back together bc i still have the instructions
imma go do that real quick
4:05 the visible emotional damage on his face…
I actually love this video, 5 hour version when?
I might as well check my bins to see what i can find
From my experience, a Rubbermaid Roughneck 10-gallon bin filled halfway is the best for Lego Storage, so the weight of the pieces don't damage the other pieces as much as if you use a bigger bin. And I have 3 bins dating back to the 80s (though it was 9.5-gallon Keepers from Rubbermaid, but still roughly the same size and shape as the roughnecks), and got 3 more recently.
However, I will say, if you enjoy MOC Building, then having a few bins is a good idea!
Oh god the PTSD. I once had to sort through 2 massive bins or miscellaneous bricks to rebuild the Jurassic World sets from 2018. All of them -.-
5:46 I used to own that Anglerfish set. It was from the LEGO Atlantis series, and came with a small submersible, a Dual Faced professor minifigure, and an fish minifigure with a trident.
This guy looks familiar, almost like I've seen him on another channel where he does cool stuff with what I think was a yoyo, but I'm not sure I could be insane
I remember as a kid i had a knockoff police car. And for years i Hadn't thought of it so this video inspired ant remembered me that old lego set. So thanks♥️
5:34 all lego star wars fans are hunting you down rn
Please make it. I love the Dropship I will do anything for that. Try to make it exactly the same.
Dude you're my hero. I just can't.
7:25 microwave society, microwave society, microwave society, microwave society, microwave society, microwave society, microwave society, microwave society
I have like 18 different bins full of lego and i believe one of them is the tie defender, ive found a few old black wing pieces, that window piece, and one of the pieces used to attach the wings to the cockpit
The LEGO sets has risen up from the Bin of Storajj.
The drop ship will be missed, but not forgotten
I've been building legos in the bin for so long it takes me hours but I'm not stress at all because I can build any thing the technique in building in the bin is start with the frame then find the parts you need to fast when finding to reduce the minute you waste
This is so relatable to me as I have a lot of sets that are so broken
Theres nothing better than finally rebuilding an old lego set from the bin wich took 10 years to find the pieces of😅.
i was about to say, he did NOT find all of the pieces for a set like that starwars cruiser. I'm glad it was just the pod.
Just Organized the pieces bro and the branding of the parts
I only buy sets to build them and destroy them, i add them to a massive box which is roughly the size of a bathtub and its 3 quarters full, i sit there for hours going through the whole thing to build creations of my own because when i am finished it feels more rewarding
Pretty cool video man! I wish I had some of these sets! 😎👍👍
Me and my family did this over the pandemic because we were bored 😂
3:37 really cool build!
I’ve took a broken Lego Y-wing that I scraped for parts and turned it into my own fighter with retractable wings, bombs, 2 cockpits, and more
It is entertaining to see someone giving a second life to these Lego pieces. I feel really agreeable to see you resurrecting these classic Lego sets. Keep going and keep optimistic!
man that's a throwback I remember lego power miners when they released and wish they continued it
i have spent countless hours searching through the bin, i don’t regret a single second
Awesome video. You should submit that drop ship to Lego ideas. My two favorite Hobbys have been started or rediscovered because of you (yoyoing and Lego) thank you.
The dropship you made reminds me of the half life 2 dropship
Man nice video we definitely need a part 2
Whilst the Bionicle and hero factory sets are all mixed into one box, mixing all the other Lego into one box i could never do. Still have all in their dedicated boxes with instructions and majority besides my most recent ones that haven't got around too, in some order after each disassembly; all correct pieces in their correct boxes
My mom just threw them in there without telling me
😢
4:16 bro stepped into a time portal
0:41 good luck picking it up 💀💀💀
Bro became a literal drop ship 🤣
I got a rock creature from the power miners theme in my collection. I’m pretty sure it came from a build a figure at the LEGO store in Manhattan.
This video made me look though my Lego and rebuild my favorite set 21145 it was an amazing feeling
AT THE TIME STAMP 8:10 THE DISH PEICE IN THE SECOND BIN IN THE BOTOM THERE IS THE BIG PRINTED DISH PEICE THE THATS FROM THE CORPERATE ALLIANCE TANK it would be cool if you rebuilt that set too
Bro l feel bad for you
The drop ship was so cool
R.I.P childhood dropship
Hey could you a instructions video on your drop ship,it looks...looked really good,I would get it if it were a real Lego set,any chance you put it on Lego ideas?
4:07 don’t drop the ship, take the pieces that was need for the set and replace some of the other parts so you don’t have to deal with it
Bin. The beginning of idiotic noise makers.
Also bro resurrected without oni masks
You inspired me to get the anglerfish Atlantis LEGO set I was playing with it and watching and watching this
6:33 T REX TIME BABYYY AT 6:43
6:05 i remember buying a half complete used copy when i was around 4
Your dropship it’s amazing it inspired me to build a ship
bro i wish that drop ship was a real lego man it looks so cool
I cringed when he poured the pieces onto the carpet floor…Amazing and impressive video!!
Yo the republic ship and you’re drop ship were crazy dope
I heard a lot of splatoon theme in this video.
nintendo eshoop music... thank you P.S. a tip: just buy the parts or color swap from the dropship parts
I like you just said, shark boy from the movie, shark boy
In honor of the dropship I think you should recreate it and finish it
Rip the dropship, it was really cool
4:09 WHY DIDDD YOUU HAVEEE TOOO DOOO THISSS TOOOO THEEE DROPSHIP I LIKED IT ITRTTT :(
Nice choice for the Atlantis one for the music nice Splatoon to music and for my bin, my parents got rid of it
hats off to you for this wonderful video, learned a lot!
The drop ship is incredible
The drop ship was definitely the best custom build I’ve seen we definitely need instructions on how to make it because if I got the pieces i so am. Also during at the moment of you having to destroy the drop ship i kept saying the whole time “buy the pieces on brick link buy the pieces on brick link” just over and over again.
Thanks! I'm considering making a video where I remake it. We'll see. I noticed a lot of room for improvements.
Imagine not having 7 "The Bins" totaling over 50,000 peices. lol
I have been rebuilding childhood LEGO sets from my LEGO collection (bin), and this what I’ve found, crook pursuit: city (2014), police dog unit: city (2014 and many more. Hopefully I can rebuild more in the future.
Those sets sound awesome!
i know an idea. turn the sets MONSTROUS.
I had one of these and sorted through and sorted the pieces by color 😊
1:08 I think everyone has had this figure at one point
Why is that so correct
The Number Set
First:8960
Second:8039
Third:8038
Fourth:31007
Fifth:8014
Sixth:7978
Seventh:7052
Eigth:8060
Nineth:8087
Bro that’s so cool finding all your old sets but I have like maybe 6 to 8 times that in the bin! It would take months to rebuild a small chunk of them😢 but you have actually inspired me to try and rebuild some of my childhood sets so thanks for the inspiration I would never of gotten otherwise😊
Me:hey! I have the thunder driller from power miners in Lego!
bro i have 3 big gray bins full of lego in my basement and another that's full of instructions and frankly, i am to scared to rebuild them all
Bro, I was watching Sharkboy and Lavagirl the other day😂
The drop ship would be such a good Lego set😢😫
I had a lot of lego ninjago sets when i was younger and some got broken bc of my arguing with my brother and breaking my sets. Only some now stay intact in the attic or in the bin. R.I.P my $80 ninjago dojo set. It was my favourite
Well I did rebuild a lot of older sets that perished but now relive their old life 15 years later
Wait i regonize a lot of weird peices in my bin that did not make sense... I think i have the thunder driller in my bin too lol
All my pieces of lego are in the BIN 😂
Going to be attempting to rebuild all of my late 2000's indiana jones sets... wish me luck
