Have a pair of stockmans, right boot squeaked from day one and still does. Like living near the train tracks after a while you don’t hear it. Great to see you back doing doing videos!
My pair of Okanogan boots are English tan leather and lace to toe. I love the white dot vibram soles, super comfortable. Do wish they had celastic toe. Love my White’s boots
I've been less than impressed with these boots. The squeak in the shank, the asymmetric toe caps, the overall fit is loose. The proprietary vibram soles seem to be wearing down fast. I've found myself going to the Nick's Urban Loggers when I need to get work done
I just picked up a pair of White's Stichdown Cruisers in Toscanello Horse Hide from Baker Shoes. I was told to get the same size as my Nick's Builder Pro's on the 55 last. Hopefully they fit.....
@@aztlanahauc How do you still like them? I keep looking at the navy colored ones. I haven't pulled the trigger because I'm questioning how much I'd wear navy boots (only having a few pairs).
@InGrindWeCrust2010 I like them. They are more of a casual boot. I made the mistake of wearing them to work and punctured the top of the vamp. White's said the puncture is small and to make sure it does not dry out and it should be fine. The arch is more pronounced then in my Nicks and will probably take me 6 months to break in but I have flat feet so.... but I recommend them and you can get different colors of leathers if you don't want the navy.
Hey , Thanks for the update... Did you find any resolution for the squeaking boot ? 2 of my whites are squeaky like a crazy mice. Still didn't find how resolve it. I tried oiling inside, baby powder, dry them , soak them . Nothing helped.
I was in touch with them - they offered resole. If yours still under warranty they will do for free. Did you try putting a screw or nail through the shank?
Did that weird 55 last arch break in good? I pretty much got the same boot and I felt that the arch starts earlier on the foot(more toward the heel) than the smokejumper
Actually they are owned by LaCrosse who is in a partnership with ABC. As an aside, the Danner hq is in Portland and their outlet store is just down from the airport. I used to work near there and there used to be killer deals. Now the great deals are more hit and miss, but it’s still worth stopping if you’re near. And 25 minutes away is Scappose where Wesco is located.
@@Kingfisher1215 Ha I sent a few Danner defects boots back over the years… that’s where they go I guess. They had good people there in the old days before they sold it. I used to talk to the cobbler on the phone. Fun days.
Dude, you’re foot put those wrinkles in the toe. It happens to all soft toe boots, individual bends of toes and the way you walk is what causes the leather to collapse and or wrinkle.

Great to see ur videos again!
Great to see your boots, and another great boot video.🔥🔥👊
Thank you

Have the same boot. They are wearing in very well. Yours definitely look more worn in. I've had them about the same amount of time that you have.
Nice looking boots.
Another fantastic boot!
Thank you

I enjoy it when you review boots. If you upload a video of you working in denim jeans, I think it will be good too.
I have a handful of Gustin jeans
Beautiful boots! I’d love a pair with hard toes. I’ve never understood soft toes.
I really wish I would’ve gotten this version. I got the British tan CXL LTT version. They’re nice, but the leather is super thin and not super rugged.

Let me know how they fit
@@KimballCody will do.
Well they arrived today and the fit is spot on. I have about 4 hours in them at the moment.

Ask unsung in Tennessee about the squeaking. They even have UA-cam. Great cobblers

I'm going to contact White's and see what they say

I like the 55. But the squeak is bad on the L boot.
Nicks recommended oiling the inside soles when I spoke to them the other day about my boots. We’ll see if it works.
I've read that too. I just imagine sticky socks and feet
@@KimballCody My initial thoughts as well. I let the boots sit out in the sun for the day. Didn’t make my socks oily at all.
@@KimballCody bick 4 for the insides.
Hi which you like more Urban Logger or Whites?
They are different boots. The Urban Loggers are more ridged and the White's seem to be more like a glove.
Right now I like the White's more
I normally wear sz 14, but had to get 13's from White's
Okanogan is a County in WA state but it's also an area. I'd ask Whites about the squeak.
I think Danner got hold of White's Boots....
ABC Shoemart out of Japan owns both

The squeak is most likely a rusty boot nail
Could be

It was that way out of the box
Okanagan is a county in Washington, of course it’s a Native American tribe so that’s really the namesake.
