Probably to disguise the final graphics for the upcoming premiere. It's almost certainly not gonna look like that on showroom floor. The orange splash on the seat indicates it will probably come in the traditional orange/black/white KTM color scheme.
To disguise the test bike, it's typical for test cars/bike to be wrapped into that.

In Malaysia the shape will be not accepted.

I will say that the bike we're seeing now is probably not the production machine. More than likely there will be a few more things different on the final bike.
Hello Ntmoffi, well damn, they really kept it close, including the crazy street bike exhaust! Thank you for stopping by and commenting! - Frank
From the video, waayyy too much bend at the knee. ...almost sport bike rear set. 30 minutes to pain imho.
Well it is a prototype not the finished product. We don't know what will go into production yet, including the exhaust.
@@terrarecon yes, of course. agreed
The previous 390 adventure had the same problem.
Hello Pete! It will need a tall seat and dropped pegs for sure! Thank you for stopping by and commenting! - Frank
The crazy street exhaust seems to be final. Thank you for stopping by and commenting! - Frank
i love my duke 390, but would like something a bit taller. the adventure does not really do it for me. The 2025 though seems to be inspired by the new Himalayan. I'm sure it'll be a great machine, but just not what I'm looking for.
I understand, though it is TALLER! Thank you for stopping by and commenting! - Frank
Why they stupid enogh not to build something like this with the 690 engine. .?
It would be great, but they are getting rid of the 690 single because it’s harder to meet new emission standards with it and going to the lc8c platform for a 690 twin
@@occlusion6557 yes I know. But they could have made it 10 years ago like the 640 Adv
I hope Ducati will do that on the hypermotard's basis.
Imagine a a Desert 698, with the look of the the big sistema and the weight of the motard.

No it is not the bike we have been waiting for. It is another bike destroyed by heavy weight and low hp which stupid euro5/A2 license dictate, morronic low seat. A2 riders, just wait, don't mess the global market!!!!
I cannot disagree about the seat height. It's going to keep buyers away for sure! Thank you for stopping by and commenting! - Frank
I still don’t believe a 390 is a true ADV. no way that’s taking a 600 mile pavement journey to get to an M selected off road site. Soon they’ll be saying a 250 is ADV
Adv is what you make it
@ I disagree. Thats why there’s off-road, dual sport, enduro, ADV and street classes and the motorcycles are built for one of those purposes. A bullet bike is not built for off-road so sure, you can take a bullet bike off-road, but it’s never gonna be called an off-road bike
I just saw a video where they called the new 390 Enduro R a "true enduro bike." Good grief! Thank you for stopping by and commenting! - Frank
