Wow people I read some good bad and really ignorant and uneducated comments on here. Sublime got lucky when Rome just happened to be sitting outside playing his guitar singing their songs. Do you guys have ears or are you just not able to move on with Bradley's death? Bradley named his band Sublime for a reason, he's a positive person. I think he would want all of you to stop hating on Rome for carrying on his legacy because that's what Rome is trying to do for the Sublime fans. Bradley is definately smiling down at Rome saying "thank you man for not letting letting the fans forget about me" Every show Rome does a respectful shout out to Bradley thanking him. Go see the show then judge.
Bradley would say, "Well, I'm dead and much of the band's gone. They have a fucking karaoke act using the name now." And I've literally heard karaoke singers in 2 bit bars that sound better than this fat sack of shit. This is a disgrace to the name.

Some of the parts that were added after the fact really ruined some of the songs for me, for my liking." This isn't Sublime. This is their out of work guitarist having nothing better to do with his life than find a fat Mexican on the street and prostitute Brad's memory. I guess if Eddie Vedder dies tomorrow Mike Mccready can find a fat guy somewhere and call it Pearl Jam and that'll be cool with everybody? Hell, why did Dave Grohl form Foo Fighters? Is he Brad? No. Would Brad appreciate the fact that his bandmates have been able to continue( and not lose all that $$ to the impersonators called Badfish) making a living with his music. If you can't see Rome's obvious love for everything Sublime then you are completely blind. I enjoy this immensely.
Brad would hate this. The Sublime drummer quit 'Sublime With Rome' because regardless of how much he may need the cash, after the excitement wore off he realized how weird it is. Brad's estate sued them for using the Sublime name. I guess one of only 2 surviving members of the band and Brad's wife don't know what Brad would've wanted, a bunch of internet dorks do.
xraeddie Just saw Badfish about a week ago and they're just as good, if not better, than Sublime with Rome in my opinion. The singers voice is at least better and more soulful than Rome's is.

There's many differences between Rome and Brad, but they're both talented in different ways and - most importantly - I think Rome does a respectful job paying homage to Brad's legacy without trying to lay credit to all he did. He acknowledges it, and does a great job paying homage. All you can hope for in a situation like Sublime was put in. Play on, brother Rome - and thanks, Brad.

If Rome started his own band, he'd be liked much more. The fact that he has to live up to Bradley, it's underwhelming to fans. Rome kinda got the short end of the stick.
Very good rendition. I like Rome's vocal style a lot, he walks the like between smooth and flavorful nicely. Did a pretty good job with the solo too. Could've used a backup guitarist for a staged and studio-like live performance like this though. Choruses felt empty without those lingering arpeggios.
I like Rome, and I like Sublime with Rome. That being said, Bradley singing this song is perfection. There was this untamed quality about his voice that just made listening to him magnetic. That being said Rome can sing and does a good job with the song. It is his own way of doing it.
Federico Nicolas Arismendi just be quiet ssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I get people don't like Rome, he's not trying to be sublime, they picked him because he sounded similar so they can live out the legacy Bradley left behind for them. Rome puts his own twist trying to stay true the the original sound at the same time, so he can leave his own mark.
I apologize in advance Sublime fans. I know most their hits, just from radio. I clicked this just to check it out with a different singer. He does awesome, and a great guitar player. Dudes got passion! Was surprised to see JF on drums!!!!! What a legend 🤘
I love Josh Freese with these two, doing the Sublime thing. Especially at this show. He's smooth as hell yet driving it forward incessantly. It works great with what they're doing.
I've seen a dozen of old Sublime live videos, and Eric looks like he doesn't give a shit in all of them. Everyone's saying it's because of the new lineup.... no, he's always been like that.

Anetta Bailey I apologize for having an opinion
Lol wym? You should have an opinion. I just had an opinion on your opinion if that makes sense? lol
Anetta Bailey replying with an emoji is not an opinion
@@johnathom-v3y So what. It conveys an attitude towards the statement. acting like negativity is commonplace and should be expected is just justification for a society of negative snobs, like "it's the internet" is a lisence to be a tool. All it really shows is how slimey you all are with anonymity.
Ta loucooooo, Sublime eh bom demais!! Sublime is amazing, even without Bradley, I enjoy this song for all my life. Congratulations guys, I'm Felipe from Brazil!
If Rome started his own band, he'd be liked much more. The fact that he has to live up to Bradley, it's underwhelming to fans. Rome kinda got the short end of the stick.
Bradley's son Jakob should take over.. Did you see his cover of "Badfish"? He sounds exactly like his father!
Holy shit!! Rome absolutely killed it!!!! Mad respect
Wow a lead vocalist who also does lead guitar... impressive
That's what Brad did, too lol
Alexi Laiho from Children of Bodom is also a lead vocalist and lead guitar
duddy b from the dirty heads as well
Staying true to brads legacy, thats whats counts. Awesome performance, nice in the ears. Cheers to anyone that enjoys it
Federico Nicolas Arismendi just be quiet ssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
That was awesome! RIP, Bradley.
I get people don't like Rome, he's not trying to be sublime, they picked him because he sounded similar so they can live out the legacy Bradley left behind for them. Rome puts his own twist trying to stay true the the original sound at the same time, so he can leave his own mark.
that is a monumental bass tone!
caraio que lokooo top!!!!!
I apologize in advance Sublime fans. I know most their hits, just from radio. I clicked this just to check it out with a different singer. He does awesome, and a great guitar player. Dudes got passion! Was surprised to see JF on drums!!!!! What a legend 🤘
Nuss... essa música é D+... Amoodoroo. ♡
Comentando aqui pra vc ouvir de novo.
I love Josh Freese with these two, doing the Sublime thing. Especially at this show. He's smooth as hell yet driving it forward incessantly. It works great with what they're doing.
Of course Bradley is irreplaceable, but Rome deserves more than anyone to fill in for him
I don’t know why everyone hates on Rome he’s a good singer. Ofcourse he can’t ever be the original but he tries his best and that’s all that matters.
the bass player is like can we go home yet lol
Nice beat.New refreshing sound.
Like it alot.Positive vibe! Keep charge rolling forward.Ill be listening more this sound.
Gary
Rome makes sublime sound like a cover band of itself.
Definitely not buddy
He fucking tore. Bless you rome for your beautiful voice and respect on this song.

i believe that Jakob should be the front man of sublime. the kids voice is fucking beautiful just like his dad.
Take on the legacy Rome. Make a ton of albums with sublime and make them famous again. RIP Bradley
I just saw Philippine flag in the Dj's mac😍
Is he a filipino ate?
@@269_yansan2 He looks like one, to say the least.
Sublime is back thank you is good to have you back 👏👏👏
I've seen a dozen of old Sublime live videos, and Eric looks like he doesn't give a shit in all of them. Everyone's saying it's because of the new lineup.... no, he's always been like that.
Demaciado bueno estos panas!..Venezuela los escucha dude!
Why all the rome hate? I think he's fantastic.
Rome is keeping the legacy going…worthy of Sublime!!!
I like Rome yo.
Dude does a damn good job, respect to him.
Rome sweats like Patrick Ewing in the 4th quarter. Burning those calories my man!
Singing correctly ain't easy ha
I love this song this guy killed it I mean sure he's not the original guy but he's pretty damn good
The DJ is a Filipino! Saw the Philippine Flag.
Ya! Is he a member of sublime with rome?
