Welcome to Argentina!! Our Country received several European immigrations; in the late 1800s, during the First and Second World Wars. Also at other times they came from neighboring countries, Asia and the East. In all cases the integration was healthy and in good communion with the rest of the foreign communities and local residents. For some reason Argentina has that peculiar appeal. Receive, integrate and generate something unique, a great family.
I love that people like you care about my country as much as I do! Welcome! It’s exciting to hear you talk about Argentina with such feeling. I hope you have the best experiences here! You’re a great inspiration for everyone who is thinking about settling down here :)

This is the best thing that can happen to you Tanner! Meet people who are from the US. When my grandfather arrived in Argentina 70 years ago, he didn't know anyone. Shortly after, he managed to meet many who also came from Italy and formed a group of friends.

2:10 Tipping is INSANE in the USA. They EXPECT a 18-20% tip no matter what. I have heard stories of waiters/resses chasing down customers saying they didn't leave enough tip, etc. I wish they would try that crap on me. I think like most people, I gave extra tips during COVID for those working, but that never went away! It only got worse. And dont get me started on these stupid machines where the tipping STARTS at 20%. They try and guilt trip you into tipping more.

If you have dollars, everything is pretty much cheap, but earning in pesos, things are impossibly expensive. Anyways, I watch your videos and think, Hey, we are so lucky to live in a country like this one!! Your idea of counseling people from abroad to come live here is very good, and eventually, you could make a very good business out of it. Following you since your video in the police car, saying that you were coming here. Everything seems to be pretty amazing, so far!
Thank you so much! I appreciate you following this journey! The Argentine community has been so impactful on our lives. I hope we can succeed in making Argentina prosperous again for the people!
Hi Tanner. Eating as late as you did is quite typical especially on the w/e. My family is from Argentina yet my brother and I were born here. I'm 55 and have travelled there several times over the years. I remember my times there the people and the food. Both are sublime! I just saw your interview with Tipito Enojado I have to say, welcome to Argentina. As a piece of advice, people do like if you try to speak the language, they help as much as they can even though you speak broken Spanish. I recommend you to get a book called CHE BOLUDO (real name) which will help you to understand some of the ways of speaking we have here. Is more likely to met people who knows English on the big cities but the more you go into the country it stats to dilute. But as the opposite side, the more you go to the country side, the more traditional and conservative people are compared to the big cities.

Hello Tanner, I hope you can also get to know other provinces of Argentina, it is a pleasure that you are in our country. Greetings from Córdoba capital
tips here are not mandatory, you just give a tip if you are happy with the service or if the prices are too low so you can contibute with the waiter's salary. Usually it's a 10% but you can give less and there is no problem
@@Economic_Front given your handle/username I have to ask... The economy here is shit and will always be, how do you not mind that? Don't get me wrong, I love it here. Even though I have an european passport and I have lived 1 year in Germany and 3 in Australia, I'm far happier here (believe it or not). But that doesn't change the fact that our income is much lower.
Beautiful places to live in Argentina: Mendoza, Córdoba, Salta and the province of Buenos Aires (rural areas 600 km from the Federal capital such as Coronel Suárez, Pigüé and Sierra de la Ventana)

You should interview some Americans to share their experience and maybe do some collaboration with a UA-camr, your channel will grow more. Maybe you could interview an Argentinian to teach you Argentine expressions. You may have noticed that our Spanish is very different from the rest of the Latin countries. It will be fun and will help other immigrants understand our Spanish LOL
There s this GREAT Channel from an American who lives between Argentina, Colombia and the US, and talks Spanish almost like a native! Zach Morris is his name.
It would be more fun if you do that collaboration with Dustin Luke, even if he doesn't live here at the moment (Zack isn't here currently either). Dustin speaks Argentine perfectly. 😊😊
I remember going out at 7Pm our first night in BsAs and we were the only people in the restaurant. Then we did 8PM, same thing. Couldn't get use to eating dinner at 11PM in one weeks tie. Maybe when I'm down there for the long haul...
Your problem rises from you tradition of having only three meals: breakfast, lunch and supper. In Argentina we have four. Breakfast in the morning, a good lunch at midday (13:00 or 01:00 PM), a "merienda" that we have at work or at home around 17:00 (tea time for the English), and then at home we have dinner at 21:00. In the nights in weekdays we would have dinner at 21:00 because most people have to work the next day, but on Friday and Saturday's night, dinner may be a little later and continue to high hours of the night.
I would've loved to continue hearing the conversation of the other two american guys and Onorio Wish you all the best man, from an Argentine who planned for 4 years to emigrate to Europe (as an italian citizen), did it and returned after only 4 days because I do not want to be separated with my family and friends (among many things that happened during that trip). Milei is truly the last HOPE of us, the Argentine youth, to continue living here.
Thank you for sharing your experience! I’m here to fight with you and it’s my honor. I would have filmed more of the conversation. Unfortunately too much Mendoza wine made the conversation too scattered in the end. But it was a fun interaction!

I saw you in one of your videos when you were still in the United States. With the interview you had with Tipito Enojado I found out about your channel and that you are already here in Argentina. From your videos it seems that you and your family are having a good time. Seriously, from the bottom of my heart I wish you success in this plan to settle down and live here. The best of luck to you and your family. Greetings from the province of San Luis.

Living in Argentina is great, as long as you work outside (for another country) remote. If you have to live in Argentina with a regular Argentinian salary, then its not so great.
Love your vids! Keep them up!
Yes! I hope this changes soon. It’s a sad situation for Argentines right now. Thank you so much!!
I saw your interview with Tipito Live . We’re thinking of moving back to Argentina after 50 years in North America. Wishing you all the luck 🍀
So happy to hear that!! Thank you so much :)
The Milanese is usually accompanied with mashed potatoes or French fries (highly recommended) or with a vegetable salad, and we really have many desserts. The tiramisu is very delicious too.

Yes it is!!
Thank you for that :)
I love that people like you care about my country as much as I do! Welcome! It’s exciting to hear you talk about Argentina with such feeling. I hope you have the best experiences here! You’re a great inspiration for everyone who is thinking about settling down here :)

What a beautiful family you are guys...you look so nice. I hope your stay here in Argentina will be nice, and spending a wonderful time here in Buenos Aires. ❤
I'm a video producer and I really love your content. It's not "flawless" in the technical aspect, but is so warm and real that I can tell why people support your work.
Also, even though you quit your police job, it's very noticeable your drive to be at service of the people in any way they might need. I bet you were a very good cop.
I really enjoy your videos and if sometime in the future you'd like to make something more "professionally looking" content, feel free to contact me; i would love to help you (and i mean without any economic expectations, just give you some advice and even create some clips totally "for fun")
My name is Roberto. It's a pleasure to watch your videos. All my best to your family, I hope our country keeps treating you well.
Thank you Roberto! This comment means a lot to us, especially because of your background. I also thank you for such a generous offer! At some point when I get a little less busy, I’d really like to do that with you.

Buenos Aires hast to be the best city in the world!

Your videos are so good! It's really hard to get by in Argentina, living with a salary in pesos.
You should check out a league match soon especially between Club Atletico Boca Juniors and Club Atletico River Plate.
This is a great idea!!

I would but they drank too much lol!
I just saw your interview with Tipito Enojado
I have to say, welcome to Argentina.
Incredible advice and information! Thank you so much!

South Florida usual tip right now is around 20-25%. And most of the restaurants add it to your check (either they served you well or not).

tips here are not mandatory, you just give a tip if you are happy with the service or if the prices are too low so you can contibute with the waiter's salary. Usually it's a 10% but you can give less and there is no problem
Great information! Thank you
Hey man, those were such kind words, thank you, really appreciate it.

This is a fantastic idea! I’ve got some conversations going for something like this! Let’s hope we can make it happen.

7 PM is SUPER early lol
It’s still very difficult to get used to! Lol
Me encanta tus videos son geniales
I would've loved to continue hearing the conversation of the other two american guys and Onorio
Wish you all the best man, from an Argentine who planned for 4 years to emigrate to Europe (as an italian citizen), did it and returned after only 4 days because I do not want to be separated with my family and friends (among many things that happened during that trip).
