When ordering, do you bother with dual alternators or just standard option? Good idea for a future vid would be your build sheet/window sticker for your truck orders.
Dual alternators aren't needed for most applications. Unless you're running a plow or lots of accessories. Just get the big single 220 amp alternator option when ordering.
Nice video Paul... God bless..... To viewers.... I am hearing and reading all this comments on many of the videos.... I did hotshoting my self for 3 years and 4 months on the RAM. I'm doing something different right now... if anyone would ask me: if you go back to hotshotting what choice of the vehicle would you pick? the answer is only one: RAM !!! If they would ask me to think twice... I would think and at the end the answer would be: ANOTHER RAM 🐏 for a nice juicy shish kabob on the road.... I know everyone's talking from their own experience and I know another fact that Ford and Chevy is a great piece of equipment on all different levels but my choice is Ram with Cummins and Aisin transmission that never fails. If you don't know what to choose try them all you'll see the difference and then make your decision what to keep...
look at that? greasing the front end on a ram stops front end issues.... never would have guessed that..... but ya if you do the maintenance on them they last.

Any issues with any of the transmissions? Any tunes, deltes on these trucks? Ill explore ur videos further. thanks bud.Subscribed.
300k isnt that much as long as it was taken care of and kept stock. Those common rails sell like hotcakes with 600k on them all day. Maintainance is a bigger factor than miles with these dodges.

I have a 2017 and I have a weird vibration like in the seats and the center console and I've had the truck checked from Back to Front can't find anything wrong do you have that problem with any of your trucks
Do you have newer tires or a leveling kit? I recently had same issue on my truck (2018 2500 GMC Duramax), and it turned out to be the larger tires and leveling kit.

Yep, I’ve read people re-balance and change out deiveshafts with no effect. Road Forcing tires, change out shocks, switch to different combo of stock to aftermarket or bigger tires and wheel setup. No change. Some say it’s the stiff frame, but not all have the issues. I learned to live with it for now.
Hi Paul, nice video. But you have to give your viewers more details. Blow by if any when engine is running. View of engine compartment with details what has been replaced or repaired. Thanks for understanding.
Brian B lol where did you see any leather? Maybe vinyl. These are are tradesmans. Tiny basic screens. Plastic door handles. Tale tale tradesman chrome package manual seat adjuster. They all even have the Tradesman wheels.

I have had both, even had a 300k lb7 👀 The Cummins truck will be slightly more reliable but don't knock a well maintained dmax if were talking adult drivers in both the dmax can easily do the same 400k without a major repair My 15 ram held hills better than my 15 dmax when heavy The dmax is a sturdier trans and farrrrrrr better brakes The ifs makes the dmax drive sooooo much easier than the solid axle 4x4 ram too when racking up seat time you really notice the steering feel difference My 15 ram always pulled since new, they wouldn't fix it, couldn't actually without replacing the axle, made me sick buying a brand new vehicle that they refused to fix a driveability issue Except that pesky cp4, needs additive to stay alive or b5 minimum.. sucks too
Thanks Paul that was treat to see three trucks together with the goosenecks attached, nice insight. Blessings man.
no crap as always Paul thanks for the info
Whats your opinion for goose neck trailers via bed size? 6 1/2 vs 8ft. Whats your preferred and why? Downside to either?
The dpf systems last when you tow heavy enough to get them hot enough to properly regen and dont put super awesome racer boy tuner boxes on them
If you throw the emission shit in the trash where it belongs. You'll never have an issue.

There's zero reason to talk about something that should be removed as soon as it leaves the dealer.
Yes it does lower engine lifespan but they still will last nearly as long.

Do you often have transmission problems?
No. Unless miss used. We see 500k out of Aisin transmissions
Would've been awesome if the red truck was first. Red white and blue 🇺🇸👍

It would be cool to get a duramax in the fleet for comparison. Since you have one ford it would be nice to see what the chevy would offer

A healthy Cummins won't have any appreciable blowby even at 400k
The pole jumped out in front of him I suppose
Has all the emissions stuff lasted that last long ?????
Hell no
It does last because the truck is being used as desinged. When the trucks are used as mini vans you have issues.

Deleted before put to work
Are these all on original transmissions?
A 15 minute video and he didnt bother mentioning the transmissions.
White truck adjust valve lash to improve mileage

Why you don’t use dually ? Rookie here saving up for a tow rig definitely 4th gen Cummins
