I had an awesome time and a killer bash session with the SSTe at the construction site + some Ramp hits. The truck did awesome and continues to deliver superb performance. The battery tray pulled out twice and thought it would be a smart thing to stop. Big Thanks also to HRB for sending out the 5200 100c 6s for a review. Battery tray is a bummer check out my last upload same thing happened but way worse. Going try and tap the chassis and screw the battery tray to the chassis instead of it going into plastic

Love how aggressively you drive man :D Please oh please give it to us straight and true: Did you damage parts/bend the chassis on the first bash, and that is what these replacements are for? I was about to buy this truggy but then I saw this guys video on it: ua-cam.com/video/apbDChye6dM/v-deo.html That arm flex looks absolutely insane doesn't it? :O It seems all the extra flex in the arms/chassis, thinner looking shock towers and driveshafts, etc would make this a decent entry level racing truggy, but as a basher? Looks a little scary lol.. I want to be wrong though, she is a beauty and sounds beautiful too. I think my first Hobao is going to be the VTE2 if I can get my hands on one, seems a safe bet.

I beefed it out because Hobao sent me all those amazing upgrade bits. I do recommend these upgrades for extreme bashing like I do. It'll only benefit it long term. It's an awesome machine and I have been loving this Truggy from the start.

Have you had problem with the driveshafts /dog bones bending ? I’ve upgraded the front and centre middle to scorched titanium ones but I can’t find a better dog bone in the rear …the sste and thin and weak and bend every time
@@tonytravers5122 I bent the shafts after a couple of extreme bash. Titanium are great options. I went with their thicker shafts and they seem to be good so far. I gotta get this truck SSTe going soon. I love driving this truck.

@@PaddyPatroneagreed there is no comparison compared to the tekno …I’ve found that the hyper sste has weak driveshafts and too much flex to be a off road basher on road or flat surface she’s good but tekno outclass this on every level and parts

hi there. I have an sste and the steering is terrible. I have a 31kg servo and have the servo saver replaced and tight, but the truck still hates steering. I have 30, 000 weight oil in the diff.

Appreciate your time watching Dan. Are you on stock tires or aftermarkets? Has it been bad like that from the factory? Your servo of choice is plenty. I've only changed my servo and it's been fine so far.
@@CommanderAstigRC they are fastrax tyres but look similar , it was a kit that I built and havent really changed anything . the weird thing is that when you accelrate round a corner the front wheels stay straight like the servo saver isnt locking but its done up as tight as i dare
@@danrees5520 something isn't right with the steering for sure Bro. Make sure the steering plate/bar, servo arm are moving freely., Have you tried loosening the saver a bit?

That's an awesome pickup Bro. Yes you can mount any tires as long as they are 17mm hex.
Tbh, review helped me a lot. I would like to ask, do you recommend this rc to a beginner? I had a berserker (hobbyking) and other than breakdowns, it did nothing to please me. When I couldn’t find spare parts, it went on the shelf, I learned little from it, wasn’t serious parts that were breaking. I really liked this car, all the reviews say it’s good, but I’d like to hear your personal opinion as a professional.Thank you!

I have this model and it's a beast 👍 i use transmitter skyfly gt5 with avc system and the model has improved significantly! Regarding the wheels that you have fitted on your model, the model wheelies too easily because too heavy. However great great model 👍💪
Thanks for watching my brother, I truly appreciate it. I personally prefer these tires for the environment I'm driving and stunting purposes. Higher ground clearance is friendlier and easier to the chassis.
