And the fact that she would've gotten a 15 if she didn't have those small balance checks. Did I also mention that she did this routine (and every other routine in qualifying) with a kidney stone? Simone is back and she's now a QUADRUPLE THREAT to everyone 👸
And to think her potential score could be even higher. She missed her connection to the back Pike and her front pike got devalued to a tuck. AND she's been training a double double off the beam. I swear by Tokyo 2020 she'll break 7.0 in difficulty score barring injuries (god forbid) Amazing.
@@eimardgomes1128 will you stop with the "overscoring"! Break out your pad and paper and judge it. Its accurate! her D score is spot on and her E was deducted properly
It wasn't a great beam routine for her because of that giant step on the landing but the rest of it was pretty good compared to her other competition beam routines. She is going to have to work on consistency in competition now that the world has seen her in Rio. They know what they are up against and they will bring in athletes who are solid in competition. She still did very well.
She's not overscored, but *that E score is too high* because she is immune to a particular deduction which is the toe point. Her feet were either relaxed or not pointed all the way (compare it to other gymnasts, especially Chinese, like Chen Yile or Liu Tingting, who pointed their toes all the way). Some of the fans and maybe even the judges try to justify this by saying that's just how her feet structure is. But there should be no such thing, because it's completely *subjective* . Take a look at Shang Chunsong at beam from Olympic Games 2016, even though her form is quite good and has very few wobbles, she got very low E score because of her body structure (weirdly shaped leg) which is not her fault (she was malnourished while young). So I don't get it why Simone Biles is immune to this deduction while gymnasts from other countries don't.
I loves my Simone Biles. This routine never ceases to amaze me! The only thing I don't like is that front half tucked just looks ugly. Yes I know it's in a tucked position so she's technically doing it correctly. It just is not a eye pleasing skill to look at imo! Everyone else comments on the apparent universal hatred of the Wolfe turns lol! I just think if she piked the front half would look much better. Just my opinion. She's doing it correctly it's just an inherently sloppy looking skill to me
The only wolf turns that I really like are Simone's. They're so quick we don't have to be tortured for long
Facts
LOL!!
LMAO so true
Whitney Bjerken has good ones, too
hahaha
Awesome awesome! Biles is just awesome!🐐🐐🐐
She’s so floaty and smooth!
Her little hand flick before the dismount reminds me of UCLA beam routines :)
kb1025 So true! She’s a Bruin at heart 😭
@@tREXrules27 that pro rule is soooo stupid

Amazing.
simone's 6.4 d-score breakdown:
triple wolf turn (E)
sissone (A) + wolf jump (A)
barani (E) it's not an F
BHS (B) + LOSO (C) + LOSO (C) = 0.2 CV
switch split (C) + switch half (D) = 0.1 CV
back pike (C)
front pike (E)
front aerial (D) + split jump (B) + straddle jump (B) = 0.2 CV
BHS (B) + BHS (B) + full-in dismount (G) = 0.3 CV
3.6 from top eight elements (GEEEDDCC)
0.8 from CV
2.0 from composition requirements
= 6.4 d-score
yess girl!!
Great great great
wow! With a Kidney Stone! Incredible!❤
14.8 with 2 wobbles , a missed connection ,and a giant step on landing ! WOW
She can easily score above 15!
If problem with her scoring then tell it to the judges not her.
The judges don't even want to disguise the overscoring anymore

Her difficulty score is high as hell tho
Good job Simone-with-a-kidney-stone
She is unreal.
She is going to make a clean sweep...making the battle for silver and bronze, the only competition that will be interesting.

She’s not immune, they took those deductions here, she’s capable of a 15 plus
🐐
