@@marceloluv To me, those are the same skill and shouldn't be rated or credited any different. They are just too close! If they can credit a full-in double layout on floor and a Chusovitina (double layout, full-out) as the "same skill", then these should be the same skill as well.
It’s interesting how gymnastics was a lot more artistic in the 80s and 90s but there was so much terrible form on tucked elements. With the amount of cowboying there is in this video it makes you wonder if it was not as heavily penalized back then.
It wasn't. Same with late handstands on UB. It's one of the reasons 1 1/2 twists aren't as common anymore. A lot of form deductions were overlooked during that time.
That slightly overrotated 2,5 was not a Gainer triple twist.

How do you tell the difference between all the skills with a jump forward and half twist. They all look the same to me
Kinda the same but it differs on when the half twist is initiated. It could be half twist to back tuck/pike or tuck/pike then twist out
It is quite difficult to tell the difference
There’s a hint: front tuck + 1/2 twist (Gigoras) / 1/2 twist + back tuck (barani)
