- Welcome to my trucking vlog! Today's video is about loading / washing / driving a truck in Romania and passing the boarder crossing station. You will see how my truck is being loaded with a forklift and how I secure cargo/how to use ratchet straps and edge protectors. I was loading with 24 tonnes of metal and transported it to Austria. After arriving home I went for a brake check / verification so everyone can drive in safety. Hope you enjoy! 🌞

in our country a traffic jam of that kind sometimes takes weeeks ..just for them to verify the documents☹☹ i dont know how long that took

I imagine it is a simple brake force test, like we have when going through a Department of Transport roadworthiness test (annual HGV MOT check) perhaps? Have a great week, wherever you are! 😊😊
Hello Peter! 😊It feels like the are never ending queues.😁 So, in Romania we have periodic technical inspection (= Inspecție Tehnică Periodică- ITP) where the cars/ trucks are inspected throughout. Emission gases, brakes, the underside of the car/truck, suspension/steering system (joints), illumination system are checked.
Now I only made a verification about the "state" of my brakes and they changed everything that has to be changed (brake discs, brake pads). At the end of this, they also made a brake force test and it was okay. Soon, I also have to make my ITP inspection. I hope it is understandable!🌷 Take care!🙋🏻♀️🌞
@@blondietruckingadventures Yes, it makes perfect sense, Timea! We have a similar system here. For ordinary cars it only happenes from the 3rd year. So, a new car has 3 years without any legal checks. Too long in my opinion, a lot of miles and wear can happen in 3 years! Trucks have a full inspection every year regardless of mileage. This is in addition to any regular service schedule and every month a vehicle inspection must be completed by the owner, with a written record of that inspection held by the owner. Our "Department of Transport" also hold random roadside inspections all over the country. I was an inspector for a short time, but it was just too boring! 😂😂
@@peterhowells7309 Yeah, here in Romania you also can be stopped anytime, anywhere for a "quick" inspection 😂.
