The good thing with all drivers driving cross borders, is that they don't have the boss yelling on them for more deliveries. You can take your time and keep those driving and brake hours. You also don't get to have multiple drop points. You just take a single load from A to B, and that's it. I consider those the "easy loads"
Sad to say......that's not the case over here in good ole Greece. The regional delievries are not a problem, but long haul driving that takes more than 4.5 hours and needs a brake and a 9 hour pause, are litteraly not possible. Unless the company is one of the "relaxed" ones, and they don't fill you up with deliveries, in which case you can easily keep that 9 hour pause, and start fresh at 5 or 6 am, and keep a nice schedule. I discovered early on that the 9 hour pause is virtualy impossible, and I rarely keep it.
Oh what a great adventure trucking is....

You have a very hardworking sister! 😊I absolutely agree with you Timea, bad parking is inexcusable! You have "old school" driving values and that is the best way to be! I couldn't agree more on this with you, it's unacceptable to "abandon" your truck this way. I had the space to go between them, but what if an oversized truck gets stuck?🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
