All great ideas for a kitchen upgrade but I hope viewers don't miss the true value of these two makeovers. There is something about a woman's spirit that more fully awakens and flourishes in a home that has a sense of warmth and welcome. More than just a collection of redec ideas, you have managed to create inviting areas for Amayah (sp?) to enjoy in solitude or when others come to gather. It's important to note that this warmth can be achieved no matter the style of decor or the limitations to budget. There are a multitude of DIY videos out there that show how to make copycat decor pieces but the valuable difference I see in your channel is the way you incorporate projects into a homey aesthetic. Sending along my appreciation not only for your skill but for your artistic understanding of what makes a home truly livable.

Thank you so much, Jayne! 🥰 I think I am going to use some peel and stick tiles in my kitchen. I have never liked my backsplash, but replacing it would be very difficult because it goes behind some of the cabinetry. I am still researching products, but look for it in a future video.
When wanting to glue non-permanent tiles to drywall, I always cover the drywall with contact paper and then glue the tiles to the contact paper. The tiles stick better and when they need to come down the drywall is still in great shape. I did this with a dozen 12"x12" cork tiles, 3/8" thick, to use as a tack board over my desk. Still sticking perfectly after 20+ years.

Wow, it's absolutely incredible what some great accessories can do for a room! You don't even notice the cabinets anymore. I especially love how you use thrifted items instead of buying everything new and use simple techniques to make them over to fit the room. Such talent! I'm hoping that watching all of your videos will cause some of that talent to rub off on me! ha ha

Great transformation! I would add vintage casters w/brakes to the little table. This would provide workable mobile height. Tambours are easier if you measure wide strip of dropcloth to fit your wood round and glue them on flat surface. Eliminates possibility of gap if you know size. Then it should be easier to nail the panel with all furring attached.

WOW💚💚💚I wish we could have seen Amaya's face when she saw the makeover. I personally would have preferred the stainless cover on the dishwasher. I am in the same situation with replacing appliances and dealing with the mismatch look.

WOW💚💚💚I wish we could have seen Amaya's face when she saw the makeover. I personally would have preferred the stainless cover on the dishwasher. I am in the same situation with replacing appliances and dealing with the mismatch look.

Gorgeous! I know she was thrilled. The black knobs looked great against the wooden cabinets. It's amazing how a color change with knobs made the cabinets look so much more up to date. Great job!!
Completely transformed! You would never know that it was all for less than 200 dollars! The dining room table is Fantastic! For such little money and time it is something I am going to build. I need an outdoor table and have a leftover outdoor table top to use!
