The fact that Bay can get the support he can get from the US Army and the city of Chicago for real, made the film x10 better than it already is, and DOTM is good.

People can criticize Bay all they want, but he is one the best action film director's of our time. The final battle in this movie is just pure perfection.

Saw this film when I was 10, at theaters and it was my first and only 3D experience, it left such an impact on me that to this day it is my favourite movie ever, and this makes me love it even more

The amount of destruction and mayhem that were authentic is what gave the Transformers films its identity.
As bad as some of these movies were the action and set design was awesome. Sucks that a lot of movies nowadays just do everything on a green screen now

Bay is a great ACTION MOVIE DIRECTOR. Not the best story guy. But he's going to give you some awesome action sequence.

Loved watching all of this in the cinema when I was 13.
This has got to be one of the most impressive productions behind a film in the history of movies
I will never forget this IMAX 3D experience. It was for my 16th birthday and the whole auditorium was packed and we were transported to this world the most giant screen you can imagine. Everything felt REAL
I'm really grateful that this movies came out like 12-15 years ago bcs if it comes out today this whole battle scene would've been made in cg with no practical effects at all taking away the realistic part. All they would think is to cut cost and save time these days. Kudos to Michael bay and his team 🔥💪🏻

oh man i love the transformers franchise. i am so grateful that my parents has shown me Transformers back when i was toddler i may not have watched allof the g1 stuff as i was born in 2003 but still all the G1 shows and movies thats what got me into the franchise and i loved it ever since. man i tearing up and crying while typing this out too ahaha.

People give Bay so much crap for being a jerk, but when I hear him talk I don’t hear a jerk. I hear a man trying to get stuff done. It’s why his work is so great. You have to be stern and pushy to get things done. It’s a necessary evil.
As a director myself, managing a set is like herding cats, and can get out of hand really really quick.

I don’t get how they can just shut down a city block for 3 days or a week or whatever… what about the people who work in those buildings? Do they just not go to to work for a week? I really don’t get it lol
They find an alternative route or walk.. 🤷🏾♀️ there’s not one way to get through the city, there’s many. May cause traffic but you plan ahead. Just like shutting down streets to repair them or for accidents.
Imagine how much better all of the Transformers Michael Bay directed films if they had focused on two things: 1: Consistency and continuity. And 2: Putting More focus on the Cybertronians instead of humans after the first film. As much as he did with literally everything and everyone else
The first Transformers is so good BECAUSE it has LESS action in it.
Both II and III became so BORING because it was just endless explosions i just got board of watching it.

Age of Extinction and The Last Knight are mediocre. Dark of the moon was the perfect closure to the OG trilogy.
