I love this series! I’ve been having midterms in college and this has been like my comfort series lol, love how positive you are and how fun you make this game :))
Fun game. one thing I have noticed Drew, when the dice you need are fantastic you only sometimes mention it. Here the 8 rolled HUGE, elevens times, and your comments: "dice was interesting" , "I don't know what that was". I love hearing your decision making process in the games, of course. Often times when rolls are bad you comment on it a lot, but great dice sometimes don't get a mention. Same thing happened in road game little while ago you played with Dylighted having coordinated 6's rolling way more than everything else, but not even mentioned at the end. Obviously we can't control the dice, but they have major impact on who ends up winning. Love the channel, keep em up.
Thank you for the kind words. I try my absolute best to acknowledge both sides of the dice/luck so to speak - Key word there is “try”. Haha Really bad dice just tends to be a bit more in your face after a tough loss than if everything is going “perfect” or smooth or in the very least, as expected. My comment about “I dont know what that was” was referring to some of the strategic decisions on the board as I believe blue could have won that game if they played it differently… It wasn’t referring to the dice. I appreciate this kind of feedback though as I am sure my bias comes out in different ways, and I agree that dice will shift the dynamics on the board. This feedback actually gives me a few ideas for future videos! Thanks :)
Great game drew! I think the last knight you could hit the 9 wood and jack orange, any wood ore or brick steal is longest road and even the sheep is handy. I wasn't tracking but assume they wouldn't have much sheep since it was blocked so might have even been a guaranteed win
Or even block the ore and jack green since they just rolled wood is not bad, but I'm being harsh here because you won, but there might have been a small optimisation to be made. Nothing but love for you brother!
@@JGood687 Because you can build between peoples roads if there is no settle/ city within 1 road of it. You can use this tactic to cut peoples longest roads.
Why not go for 5/10/6 with road towards 8/10 and then you can pair ore/wheat prob? Blues setup was golden with 6s paired up and decent sheep just bad roads
I dont understand how they can leave 6-9-10/12 open and complain about wheat port, good game, went from looking really painful to fruitful in two cycles
Yeah, they should have never let off on the gas in terms of development cards. The lack of coordinating win conditions gave me the biggest window. Also after getting trades for no blocks to keep buying devs, that sealed the fate. Those little deals can make all the difference
Agreed his starting roads were not great but he also didn’t play the plan of his position well. With the early city, blue needed to double down on development cards and crush… instead went for road mania. Once we got up and running on devs, it was too much momentum and robber control.
Would prefer if there was a bit more gameplay. Appreciate the recap at the end but it's consuming a lot of the video length and the game feels a bit rushed. Didn't really feel the same transition you did on "pulling the game back" -- felt much more like "well duh, he got the wheat port and then just popped off"
Could have most likely won 1 turn sooner if with the robber you took a little longer to track cards and went for a wood or ore steal, or brick but wasn't much of it on board and with either of those resources you could have ported for 3 roads and took longest
Well I was at 2 points for half the game…. They misplayed the positions’ game plans decided to not work together. Blue needed to focus on development cards and spent too much time building roads.
@@dandydrew he is probably referring to the 4 6 9 of all wheat in the thumbnail that’s not in the game. (Even though you do control all of those tiles after starting placements so I don’t think it’s really clickbait)
Green was cracking me up trying to tell Orange their secrets 🤣
If only we heard the secret Rory was talking about @14:20.
He never said it. I feel like he knew it was me but just couldn’t seem to get it out of his system. We will never know!
@@dandydrew Hard to believe he cracked the code!
The grind is real out here. love to see ya grinding them leaderboards.

Really appreciate the consistency of the uploads. Highlight of the day, for real!
Very well played. The point you make near the end about having 4 settlements for flexibility is a very good one.
I think at 15:13 you go for the double play, you only need one brick or wood so you can give 2 ores for a wood for the win

@@dandydrew Good stuff!
Nice win. What the hell was going on in chat 😂I was worried about the 3-resource setup at the start, fun to see how it played out!

Green thought he was the hero of the board with that “plow” lol embarrassing
But why wasn’t it a plow??

Craziest game I’ve seen in very long time lol! GG

Damn Green having to ask about the rules in chat....
Explain why that wasn’t a plow, please?
@@JGood687 what? I'm referring to green asking if he can continue to build on his road, but I don't know what plow you're talking about
Couldn't you have taken road and army to win at 15:15 if you managed to sell ur ore for a brick or wood?
Orange lost with a horrible 2nd pick. Blue lost becauase of his startng roads.
Such quick ways to lose XD

I was thinking the same. Definitely could have stolen a card to complete his 3 roads and win
@@jewishjonah yeah, there was very good chance that he could have stolen a wood to an ore
You missed a trade at 9:25
So satisfying

You really gaslighted the shit out of them! 😂
That's how it's done, baby.
green played such a goofy ah game
All too easy...

Please dont start using clickbait thumbnails
clickbait is how youtubers grow followers.. its just how it is. Also, this title is absolutely correct for this game lol
What’s wrong with Snoop Dogg smoking wheat?
