I have been watching you for about a year. Your game has gotten ridiculously good. Last year I got some good out of it, and enjoyed it. Now, you are EXPONENTIALLY better. This is how you get to the top tier of it all. Whatever you are doing for studying has stuck, and I am realizing how far behind I really am. Winning MTT player, but grinding it up. Your videos are an inspiration.

May I suggest adding garbage time black screen to the end of your videos? Make it 30 minutes more so that we can not tell when you go out based on the length of the video alone. Good run Lex. Get it in good dominating, what can you do? GG!
I like this idea! Sucked once I noticed only few mins left of video so was waiting for next hand got involved with.... Lex is must entertaining player to watch and suspense of every pay jump is enjoyable to me...

Mega fish that hand was played the worst possible way.
No balls that’s just awful play and I think Lex played this terrible tbf! Any other player would’ve folded flop after that bet and Lex should never bet that flop with your opponents range. He has the board smashed. River bet was ok to get value from a Q but he’s turning his hand face up......Very lucky he was against the only player on the site to do something that silly.

Yeah the 3 bet was ok but the cold 4bet call was a big mistake and at the river he only represents QQ. But i agree that lex should never bet that flop. I think he made that bet because he knows his opponent is a fish.
yeh but lex induced him by betting as a blocker bet, so he see the door open, so he shove, because he knows he can't win the pot by pocket 55's.
Horrible shove with AJo vs EP open shallow stack so he’s gotta assume dont have much fold equity there smh AJs+ maybe is at least lot better but I think 1010+ AQ+ should be only shoves by him but player never fail to surprise me. Honestly I’m folding AQo (in $1K but I’m wuss lol) bc he’s never supposed to have AJo but as always just as I often end my runs are a right call/play not holding vs attempted chip donations lol
AJo vs ur range just isn’t worth it AT ALL players don’t understand risking 1/3 stack in spot at range disadvantage ITM is insane. If you were in MP or especially HJ or CO vs AJ there that’s much more plausible but all those seats in between represent how much tighter you are opening....

We block A5s and that's the only one of these hands that he might play like this (probably not even).

en kun je mij uitleggen waarom bbz zegt een op 4x hopen goede keer bij 25%. ik zou zeggen dat is negatieve ev omdat je er vaker langs zult zitten ook al is het lastiger in te schatten of hij fold of callt. beste verlies nemen 100% fold?! daar ben ik ook nog niet achter
en bij 38:37 ik telde uit het hoofd 24 winnende calls 22 verliezende kan bij verliezend er paar naast zitten, maar vanaf welke ratio wil je wel allin op river ipv check back? moet k echt weten maat help mij ff en fu :P
What’s your best books/advice for a new player. I know the basics and can hold my own in cash games and smaller $3-$8 tourneys on ACR, but as much as I hate it I’m always blaming the site. I know this isn’t true and just wanted your best advice in this situation. I want to take my game to the next level

6:50 I'm wondering what's the rationale for this call? With only 6 clean outs (excluding the clubs), at 14% pot odds alone are not enough. If you plan to bluff club river, that's 15 outs, or ~33% which would seem enough to justify the call.
You cant just + the equity of the club lol.. thats like saying he has 100% if he bluffs all rivers
Besides that, he would have 17 outs than, not 15.

i might call all in on aq often, and rarely win a flip - all in on aces, and ak beats me with a st8 - i counted 5 flush draws from the flop in a row never got one of them but if my name was lex ? and part of the party poker team ? so when you lose a all in to aq and look so stunned when you lost it makes me wonder

@@rainersustinkins8377 brazilians are actually pretty good as many of them play very lose aggro, russians at micro and mid stakes are just gamble addicts, well most of I play against. Just shove for 16% or they will sell their mothers for a flushdraw without any overcards lmao

I totally appreciate cash games may differ. but why do u take the lead upon hitting a set of kings etc post flop and bet compared to high stakes players such as Linus and Trueteller et al; they almost check by default.
A lead is a little disguised as it can appear you're trying to take control of the pot with nothing - it's annoying af when you're on the receiving end of it. Like if I have KQ suited and the board comes J 8 2 rainbow, you have a clear C-bet but if that's taken away, it's kind of jarring - like, should you continue? annoying! It can seem like villain is up to no good, but if they have a set of jacks, they're in a great spot if I have, say, Aces, and come over the top and jam.
You C-bet many many hands because you have range advantage so this balances to where opponent can call with bottom pairs, gut shots because typically size down. KK hand all A-high combos were available because Lex had KK so with 2 Broadway cards, F-draw & then backdoor F-draw means Lex can barrel his Flush draws of both suits like this at times and could have Ax as well and river bet can be perceived as missed F-draw BC board & texture worked out perfectly for this to be option or Lex can overbet river hoping to get opponent off chop with Ax.... players bet and size up with big draws and big river bluffs if they miss and think could get through so using value hand same way will get calls from good players. Rec player he probably doesn’t take same line against
you got unlucky with your AQ, BUT you got lucky MANY times before, when you should have lost already. So no reason to feel bad about this tourney Lex, not at all.

You're watching a tourno where he went all the way - I'm sure if you play, you've gone deep in a tourno before - because you got good hands, got action and then didn't get coolered - the combination of the 3 is so rare - most tournos he plays he won't run anywhere near this level - theses guys play a ton of tournos every day and most they don't cash - nothing to do with Stars at all
