23:32 ROFLMMFAO! 🤣 Made me remember why you're my favorite poker player and streamer. Stay grinding and being an inspiration to many people brother! Much love and respect to one of the greatest to ever hit the felt!
Bruh. You stay filling my feed with final tables. Get it! Thanks for the amazing content. Maybe one day the damn Yankees will legalize nationwide and I can join you in the land of milk and money! Peace and love brother!
I feel like im missing something. the 88 vs AQ - Why suddenly jump all in with both feet. Im sure there's some nitty poker stat to suggest its a valid move. but why do it?
Lex, I'm English, but speak fluent Dutch ("een redelijk beheersing van de Nederlandse taal in woord en schrift") and I agree that English is often more equipped to put things succinctly. There are times, however, that Dutch beats English in this regard. I tried to translate "Filosofie is tenslotte niet veel anders dan beroepsmatig twijfelen aan waarheden als koeien" for English friends, and I can tell you now, it loses all of its comedic power in translation. There is no Dutch word for 'teenager', but there is no English word for 'tiener', so it's swings and roundabouts.
@@dougsworld1536 No. 'Tiener' = Dutch for someone aged between 10 and 19, inclusive. 'Teenager' = English for someone aged between 13 and 19, inclusive. A kid, on their 12th birthday, has been a 'tiener' for 2 years already, but will have to wait another year before they become a 'teenager'.
Hard to watch all the crying, you won 6k. Time to serve some humble pie soon. Self mindfulness is such a rare quality these days. It takes me 2 months to earn what you did, and believe me i dont have the luxury of Ac and a chair at work. And for all the comment pros, not saying having emotion during a flip isnt allowed, but at times you could start looking like a cry baby.
Dude, you're the one crying. He's a professional poker player and has lost tens of thousands in a single session before. He's emotionally invested because he cares about winning. It's his income and his career. When you're that deep in a big tournament (which I've been), all you're thinking about is first place. And if you don't get first, you're generally disappointed, even if you do get a big score. You play to win. If all you're watching is the money, you might want to rethink the way you view poker. It's a game, first and foremost.
@@bryantjones2730 You sound like that fan who justifies yelling nasty things to the players on the court by saying i bought a ticket. Professional poker players sign up for the swings, i see the real life pro's on a daily basis in my job, so as i was saying, when you've won as much as Lex has, some mindfulness goes a long way, especially for the noobs like you watching, a few online tournament final tables lol. By your logic, As long as i dont get 1st place i can treat everyone like a piece of shit and its justified cause as long as i was really trying hard to win 1st place, The next time Hellmuth blows up at my table degrading people ill think of you. Show me that footage of a true pro like Ivey crying cause he lost, ill wait
Drew Andrews dude I don’t believe in any of those things haha... I feel like you’re doing the equivalent of a fan yelling at the player on the court right now. You’re literally watching his Livestream of him playing poker. You’re gonna get emotions from it. He’s not berating anyone directly in person like hellmuth loved to (which sucked, btw). He’s a pro and he wants to win a tournament and he was a flip or two away from being in a position to do so. I think there’s an inherent difference between being on a livestream and playing live. In person, when you lose you can be disappointed but respect your opponents. Here he doesn’t shit talk any opponents, he’s just bummed how the cards fell and is venting. I agree that you can criticize him if he’s being an asshole, but telling him to not complain cuz he won $6k doesn’t make sense for someone in his position. Also I’ve played in big real life tourneys and have done well (no big wins tho). I don’t like playing with people that are assholes and it makes the game worse. Live streams are different tho. If a noob watching decides to start his own stream and just bitches, then that’s his prerogative, but unless they’re as good as lex they’re not gonna get far. He doesn’t have to post this video, you know what I mean? I appreciate him posting and giving us content because I love poker. And people hating on him for getting emotional when he loses feels disrespectful to the free entertainment he’s providing us.
My favourite to watch, but his bet sizing is awful in my opinion. Too many good hands get minimum returns, shove heavy. In 8th of 9 you flop trips and shut the betting down with a shove vs the big stack. Ok slow playing with end up with some bad beats , but it's also why he has such bad returns of FT's. Only way he wins is monster after monster, sometimes you need to risk going out 9th , let the bully bluff it off.
