Been writing again and again for my Fav, bruh reactor to do this one. Had chills running through me hearing old Hank belt A Country Boy Can Survive with a bruh breaking down the thoughts it was giving him and old thoughts of my Country arse.
Faded Tiger I’m from North Dakota I maybe have never done that, but I could show you how to Ice fish or spear fish, where you still a hole in the ice and wait for a fish then throws spear at them.
5:57 LMAO Half way through ONE Bocephus song, my man says "I think its about time for me to kill a deer." and then stares off into the wild blue yonder. Im dead.
Lol he's just taking it in though. Sometimes that's what you feel. I can relate, I'm not a hunter and any time I've gone fishing I need someone to take my fish off the hook for me because I'm a little girly man. But sometimes I sit here like, ".... I wanna go fishin'" HAving just said what I said, so if I was ever by myself I'd be out there scared to touch the fish because I'm the "scared of fish" guy, but sometimes that's just what feels right, Lol.
I’m so glad I was born in the south. My daddy taught me to fish, hunt deer, rabbit, squirrel and clean em and cook em up. I can plant and grow a garden and can take care of my family by any means necessary. I can live in the wilderness just as easy as I can live in my home. There’s well over 100 acres out my back door that I can find everything I need to live for quite a while including clean drinking water. But I can even take nasty water and treat it for drinking. I have no idea what would happen to city folks should the crap ever get real and we all are left to our own to survive. But as HWJr says...a country boy can survive!
I live in a town of 1500 in North Dakota only live on 1 acre but work on a 15000 acre farm with only two other guys that help. I ain’t from the South I’m about as North as you can go. Only Alaska has colder winters than us, and I can do all those things. Wish I could afford to. Buy some land... Maybe one day I’ll get enough but for now I just gotta drive outa town.
I’m a northern hick I’d rather live up here Colder winters so the hunting is more fun IMO Hill climbing quads Riding snowmobiles Fishing spring bass and trout
Ducks, deer, and fish are the way to go 🙌🏼 learned those from a very early age thanks to my grandaddy, he made sure I could take care of myself no matter what happened in life. Grandma tried to baby me, grandaddy always toughened me up. Right between Nashville and Alabama my whole life
Great reaction! Some history: Hank is part of Country Royalty. His father Hank wrote many many songs that are still covered regularly today. Sadly, he died in 1953 at age 29 of drug and alcohol abuse. Hank Jr. was born in 1949, now age 72, and started his music career in 1964 at age 14. He has an extensive catalog as well as playing with other artists, many as diverse as Ray Charles, Kid Rock, and Lynrd Skynyrd.
I wish I had that. Lol I'm from Southern Minnesota, so I know all about Deer Season. But I've never gone Deer hunting. I've gone pheasant hunting and came home with a bird, but I hear the deer stories and I'm like, "... but why though?" Because I've had Venison, I've had it in sticks, soup, steaks, and everytime I've had it I was like, ".....you know beef is better right?" Lol it sounds like a joke but it's legit like that. I think my boys like the hunt more than they care for the meat. Which I can understand, but if the meat is kinda shitty, it's just like: Why? You know?
I listen to a Country Boy Can Survive at least once a week. Every time I hear it, I get just a little bit closer to leaving Chicago and moving to the mountains in Arkansas or Missouri.

One of my favorite songs, by far. Love this song, I was lived and raised in SW Oklahoma and we still live off the land as much as we can. I love fishing and fortunate to live a hundred yards from a nice catfish stream. I feel like a dinosaur when I see kids these days don't know how to use a rotary phone. Or wonder how to use a record player or looking at a VCR, like what the hell is this thing for?
As a huge fan of Hank Williams,Jr I love that people will listen to a song and give a reaction to his work, That being said I am only 37 years old but the new stuff they are coming out with like the Samsung refrigerator that you can tap and see what's inside/ look while at the store that to me is crazy I remember if you go grocery shopping and you think you have everything and you for get to grab it at Public he store then on well you're SOL.
I feel like a "dinosaur " when I see comments saying "the 90's reminds me of my childhood "... lol like wtf????.......1978 was a minute ago...literally!!!!! 🇺🇸👊😎🇺🇸
I feel like a Dinosaur because of the fact that people in my generation and my age no longer really have a work ethic or respect for their elders and for women and this is coming from a 17 year old kid man
Been waiting on this! Awesome bro ... Next ones need to check Hank Jr - The Blues Man and Mr Weatherman!! And can't forget Waylon Jennings ft Hank Jr - The conversation
it's funny how these songs are new and fresh to you, I love it! I was listening to them when they were new. I been listing to hank since the 60s I am a 62 year old dinosaur,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Yep country folk don't need help. I'm in the Heart of Dixie(Alabama). Freezer is full. Just today I had a steak from a steer that we raised and killed. And yes it was rare. 🤗❤ I finished killing it on my plate.
React to hank Williams sr. Your cheatin heart. I’m so lonesome I could cry. Howling at the moon. And some songs written about hank Williams sr. Alan Jackson- midnight in Montgomery. David Alan coe- the ride. Hank Williams jr & Waylon Jennings- the conversation.
This is why country music and Rap are my two favorite genres. Some county music fans don’t like rap and some rap fans don’t like country music... but, most of their music is very similar... Their way of like and how they need to survive their different environments.
Keep running across trout line/trotline... so brook trout etc. I knew how to spell trout.. But when fishing it spelled trotline. Had to Google it, learn something new every day!😁
What made me feel like a dinosaur was I worked with this young man who did not know to dial 1 when calling long distance on a land line. Grew up listen to Hank jr. and living in a farming community. Working on farm was my first job I was about 13. Love the Bob Marley T shirt one of the greats.

We all listen to the same, everything. We all welcome one another in our homes, we help our neighbors; without judging color. Our friends call each other’s mom, Mom. And all the moms will bust all our ass’s without hesitation. Preciate ya
You really should listen to midnight in Montgomery by Alan Jackson.
&Chasin' That Neon Rainbow 💜
Do some more reactions of hank jr, so many good one's, family tradition, whiskey bent and hell bound, im for love ex..
It said.... You cant stomp us out... but the verse is " You can't STARVE us out and you can't make us run because we're them ole boys raised on shotguns."
I just looked up the lyrics, and it IS "stomp", not "starve".
@@willjerkins32621 Depends on where you look, I see it listed both ways, but I'm pretty sure its starve. Makes more sense because he is singing about how country folks can grow their own food and hunt and fish, so you cant starve us out.
You can clearly hear hank jr say stomp
@@Crossedflame I clearly her starve.
@@marcatkinson4149 it's starve. If something catastrophic happened people in the cities are gonna starve. But a country boy knows how to eat and survive without a grocery store.
Hank, Waylon, Merle you cant go wrong!
Chris LeDoux, Cash, Willie, Conway
I'll take leDux and Conway.. Not a Willie or Cash guy..
I feel like a Dinosaur because of the fact that people in my generation and my age no longer really have a work ethic or respect for their elders and for women and this is coming from a 17 year old kid man
Same brother, im 18 and this generation sucks
Who brought them up? Ya know smh lol
@The Matthew Fam.. Your always welcome down here in the Great Okeefenoke Swamp....nothing but southern hospitality..
hank williams III you will love it. all my country heros.........
Let’s go way back David Allen Coe “You never even called me by my name” 👍👍
Love Hank Jr. He is one of the best .
It's funny because all this new tech didn't exist when the song was written
Great video love seeing people branch out and listen to different music!
Tennessee here and I am proud to be a country boy
Been waiting on this! Awesome bro ... Next ones need to check Hank Jr - The Blues Man and Mr Weatherman!! And can't forget Waylon Jennings ft Hank Jr - The conversation
"The interest is up and the stock markets down". The more things change, the more it stays the same
Loved the reaction to Hank!
Please listen to, Waylon Jennings "Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way"
it's funny how these songs are new and fresh to you, I love it!
Alan Jackson triple...Dont rock the jukebox, litty bity and where I come from
You missed the part, we grow our own smoke, lol.
It is a true story about one of his good friend's being killed over $43.
It’s fun watching people react to these great songs for the first time. I like seeing honest opinions
Love the reaction subscribed and thumbs up
If you've done Hank Jr. you should now do Midnight in Montgomery by Alan Jackson, it is a reference to Hank Sr.
I’m gonna feel old when they ask “What’s a CD?”
I’m 20 and I know what a VCR is that’s weird 😂
Trust me their asking...fuck I’m old lol
You should check out Hank III
You'll find he sounds like his grandfather more than his father
This is why country music and Rap are my two favorite genres. Some county music fans don’t like rap and some rap fans don’t like country music... but, most of their music is very similar... Their way of like and how they need to survive their different environments.
You had me smiling all the way thru. Thanks I needed that. God bless you and yours
Hank jr. Attitude Adjustment, Charlie Daniels long haired country boy
I think long haired country boy was David Allen Coe
@@donaldpulliam9153 nope 1970's Charlie Daniels
Yes
...lyrics by a city boy...a trout line?.....bahahaha... It is called a trot line 😭😂
lizardkingof1968 thanx for saying this. Bugged me too!!
There called trout lines in Missouri we also have limb lines and jug lines
Say what's a trot line ? A bunch of horses ?
Keep running across trout line/trotline... so brook trout etc. I knew how to spell trout..
But when fishing it spelled trotline.
Had to Google it, learn something new every day!😁
@@barryfirth1187 so it means the same thing ? 😄
Your face about making your own whisky, priceless!
Laughin my ass off!
Bout time to kill a deer!
Get your self one!
When things go bad, come on! We got you! There’s always room for more with country folks!
I'm from the south and we used to start every party with this song. Freaking classic!!
Please listen to George jones, he stopped loving her today
Carter Fulton that is a good one. Classic country was so awesome.
Its a great one, but you know its going to hit him like he's being run over by a freaking bus...
Who's gonna fill their shoes is a great one too!
Amazing song it makes me cry tho
That one is the greatest country song ever followed by a country boy can survive.
Originally from WV but living in Los Angeles and I’m ready when things get real because a country girl can survive. Lol
Bro come home we can run a TROT line not trout lol that’s up new river gulley river
Roger Deal yesss, or somewhere along the Glady Fork River
What part of WV?
@@averagegamer3405 Fairmont; you?
I felt old when my daughter found one of my cassette tapes in storage and asked me "what is this?"
What made me feel like a dinosaur was I worked with this young man who did not know to dial 1 when calling long distance on a land line. Grew up listen to Hank jr. and living in a farming community. Working on farm was my first job I was about 13. Love the Bob Marley T shirt one of the greats.
adding this to my playlist. Country boys can survive is fire.
Need to do some George Jones who's going to fill their shoes
I bet he still says what he wants to. We do down in the south we call it like we see it. Making room for your 4 come on yall r welcome

Would like to see your reaction to Attitude Adjustment by Hank Williams Jr.
Great reaction! I got to see Hank Jr. in concert back home in the hills of WV where my daddy was a coal miner. Good memories🇺🇸
One of the greatest country artists ever!
