I get why people are saying that the prodigy isn’t showing emotion while playing but what is she supposed to do, it’s a fast paced song meaning you can’t really play it with emotion and she also needs to concentrate while playing since it’s a hard piece. In the end all the pianists are really good at playing
You still can put emotions into fast paced music, excitement, anger, high intense fiery emotions, while more somber ones are slower from what I’ve listened to
showing emotions and really enhance dynamics is something you work on A LOT as a pianist, i would say more than most other things you practise, it is very important as it is what differentiates you from other pianists

Prodigy: Cziffra tritsch tratsch polka
Teacher: Chopin scherzo no 4
I could listen to the teacher play all day.. it's soothing :)
Whats the song the teacher plays?
The way teacher playing piano was soft and smooth
I thought it would be a different "Prodigy"
???
You can tell that the teacher really has skill, obviously, but it’s not at just a basic understanding it’s digging deeper into musicality and how the music itself feels
prodigy: *incredible*
me, just learning: *hot cross buns*
as a piano player myself, the prodigy did show emotion. you can see it in her fingers and the move of her body.
The teacher has great control over his hands you can tell he plays a lot I would say first goes to tik toker then the teacher then the prodigy but you were all amazing😍😍👏👏👏
You can play as technically adept with fast fingers as much as you want, but can you play with such poise and emotion that trascends the art to a deeper understanding? That I think is when you achieve mastery level
people wanting to sound intelligent by saying “teacher showed extraordinary emotions.” he just swayed…
lemme tell you something, first three years of studying how to play piano I used to sway a lot… as if that made anything better
They weren't talking about hand movement. You only need to have ears to tell the teachers musicality was miles above the other ones'. I guess you didn't studied piano after those 3 years you talked about.
I don't know much about piano but I took a few lessons before, and what the teacher played sounds extremely hard with that unusual tempo
I honestly preferred the teacher over the prodigy, he seemed more Musically Mature, however, the girl was phenomenal
Music is an art to express your thoughts not to impress
I loved the prodigy’s, it was so fun and daring and… overall amazing! The teacher’s was rather boring.
nah, the teacher's had maturity in his playing. good emotion and dynamics
I love Kawai.Especially the Shigeru Kawai grand pianos
“it’s not a mistake”, ✨ ITS A MASTERPIECE ✨
My allyy
Shut up this is so old
The first one is Cziffra’s arrangement of the tritch tratch polka and the second one is the slow middle section of Chopin’s fourth scherzo for anyone wondering
ty so much! I been scrolling to look for this lol
it's not a mistake,✨IT'S A MASTERPIECE✨
✨JELLYBEAN WAS A MISTAKE✨
It's not a joke,❌ it's a hazard✅
