Gandalf: “This foe is beyond any of you. Run!”
Kratos: “No”
Kratos could totally kill a balrog.
@@MaverickX578 Cory barlog? XD
Yeah this thing does look like a Balrog.
@Shrihari Hudli Looks more like a Mike Bison 🦬
@@elhidancazador7245 balrog from street fighter 2🤣
Kratos doesn't even flinch when a giant armored Minotaur jumps in front of him
Mihail Nikolov just another day in Greece for him lol
Lance Sackless actually a giant, zombie fire breathing armoured Minotaur.
Nah he have been through worse
Well he did fight the goddess of the underworld so

Damn Kratos is the only badass to stand in place when the minotaur's fist was centimeters from hitting him.
You succeded
In God of War size doesn't matter
@@anasmauderbacus3546 Just ask kronos...oh wait.
Jaylen Harris I cant
Well, considering all the cut scenes and eventual that were either in or that came after this game and the stuff that kratos has seen and what he says to atreus towards the end of the 2018 God of War, you start to realize that kratos was likely desensitized over time to where the beast inches from his face wouldn't be that intimidating to him
"And so Kratos proved his badassery....again. I mean honestly it's really not that surprising at this point."
- Gaia
Meme? APPROVED!
I want this line in Gaia's voice now
You guys don’t know how difficult this boss was when the game came out. I broke my first controller right here.
Me too
I played on Hard mode and I almost cried from frustration
Tell us
My stress was getting around on the beams in Blades of Hades to get to all of the chests without falling. The minotaur was easy compared to that.
@@ericblue5436 What difficulty you played on when you fought the Minotaur?
In GOD OF WAR, size doesn't matter
true
Kelvin Lee If you wanna win, call yourself Kratos
It's true
Even in Asura’s Wrath
Except pulling levers .. kratos always has a hard time pulling levers ...
I was like 3 when I watched my dad battle this boss.......I can’t believe I remember this it was 13 years ago
Me to
Now it’s been 15 yrs ago!
trust me same here and well both times i didn't saw how that boss died and i even cried on how it was so difficult to me it was when i was like 4 or 5 years old and yes that boss fight was the one I just couldn't beat it........
Same
@@deciduous_reaper I still think that the hardest part of this bossfight is the minigame...
But that's because I wasn't able to do it, then I don't know about you
I thought it was a robot Minotaur but it turns out to be a Minotaur wearing armour around its body
More of an undead minotaur.
+Shadis Prower because of its skeletal head
Apollodragon 2000 Correct
An undead minotaur wearing armour to be exact
Thanh Trường giant
A giant zombie minotaur that breathes fire. Now that is something that could fit in DOOM.
ChillyReaper With nearly unbreakable armor.
Lol
Doomguys a pussy, kratos doesn't need no fancy space guns. All he needs is two blades connected to chains
ChillyReaper I agree.
Jason Axiak the blades arent actually normal, they have kind of fire power, oh and the chains were supposed to be permanently stuck in kratos arms cuz they were hot af when he put them for the first time so they are stuck in his hand
*But then kratos removed them somehow in GOW4.*
i love the healthbar of this boss
When I first saw this
Kratos was just standing there as the Minotaur smashes it's fist in front of him without him flinching made me believe he been through this before but after playing the prequels, I cannot see why else he wouldn't be intimidated, it's just another day in the office for Kratos
Yeah, that all seems about right.
he has face things that would literally eat this zombie ass for breakfast, and holy shit that is by any means not an exaggeration
That's because he's no longer afraid. These troublesome monsters are eliminated as if they were nothing
I mean, this man has faced the hecatoncheires and the Basilisk before
Still my favorite boss fight of all time. All the things I had to do just to open that door, and when it finally opened, I was not disappointed.
The first GOW is hands down the hardest to beat.
Mostly because of that damn spiked wall section😑
@@anitejmishra8836 Remember that f'n achievement on ps3 for climbing it in a short amount of time, WITHOUT taking damage! I loved GoW1 but holy christ beating that game on the hardest difficulty lead to many broken controllers. 😬
I've not completed these games on the harder difficulties but I've heard that the old god of war games were more difficult than dark souls it's just that few know about it because you can change difficulty
Man this fucker was a pain in the ass, the first time I fought him I didn't even know how to beat him, you make this battle look easy as fuck lol
Default :D cuz it is lmao
Default :D i fucking know right
Default :D All the videos that were strategy guide videos seemed to show the best way to fight him was to fight him on the platform, so that's the way I did it. And, it worked!
You’ve gotta be kidding lol he was only hard if you didn’t upgrade properly beforehand
one of the best boss fight soundtracks here. Love it
وةظةكةجكو
When I first went against this boss battle, it drove me insane, but after many years of playing over and over again Pandora’s Guardian became one of my favorites to beat.
this boss reminds me of "The Icon of Sin" in DOOM Eternal.
The longer the icon of sin is in pandora temple the stronger it becomes
You know what, now that you mentioned it, it kinda does, except it's Kratos kicking it's ass
I mean "goat monster" kind of predates videogames by probably houndreds of years
I came here for nostalgic purposes after the new God of War was released.
TheHunter701 me too for the same reason...
TheHunter701 same same
Se english and español latino
@Reaper Slasher why?
Nice
In the god of war games I love when kratos just stands in front of the boss like what
Yeah he was like- come at me ...show me what you got... 😂😂😂
It pretty much underlines how so little can throw him off. At this point of the series, he was the celestial hitman for the Greek Gods, so he's seen a bunch of shit already. So a undead Steampunk Minotaur is just another day at work.
I loved this boss fight. Still one of my favorites!
SuperHothead14 Yes,its to epic
Every boos fight in God of war games are epic it's what makes this games awesome
Vaas yes, like the Hades boss fight in gow 3, the soundtrack is to good
I know man but now they changed the gameplay.
SuperHothead14 this fight is my favourite fight in this game.
Giant, undead, fire breathing, armored, minotaur.
Killing this minotaur was more fun than killing Theseus in the second game.

That minotaur is stunned longer than you are when you get parried in Dark Souls 2.
lol
Got to admit I was so scared when the big door was banging when I first played
Me 2
I was just curious about what was back there the first time. When the minotaur came out, I was like, "WHAAAAT?!? I get to fight one of these guys?!?" I got excited! If I'd known what I would get after the fight the first time, I'd have probably tried to end the fight faster just to get to Army Of Hades!
@@ericblue5436 i was more surprised than excited

People said the god of war 1 2 and 3 were just button mashing no it isnt it has other moves too (in too lazy to go through them all) we have magic blocking rolling and quick time events
@@sireregor6633 now that's fun
And frustrating
Devil May Cry, baby! This series will never forget it's roots, like GOW 4 did
“Oh the memories… they’re overwhelming”
One of the coolest bosses ever imo...! Great looks and great animations! And a great music theme for this boss fight.
I think I saw Pandora's Gaurdian's dead body in the god of war's throne room.
Yep true
You mean the minitar that kratos fights in this video? You do, you do see it at the end of the game.
@@morganrussman yes
You can actually break Pandora’s guardian in Kratos throne room same with Ares
Not its dead body.. Its the statue of it
This is one of my favorite fights because of what I acquire after winning! Poseidon's Rage combined with Army Of Hades is amazing!
Play god of war 1 again. This is your sign from the universe
The boss fights in this game were fantastic.
I love this channel, I love this game and his soundtrack 😍😍😍
Player: Woah he's huge it will be hard
Kratos : Ah shit here we go again ...
The circle button: Ah shit here go again

Kratos didn't even move 1 step back.
This show how badass 💪 he is.
Did not even flinch*

To this day still such a iconic boss fight
I love the part when the Minotaur, with little to no muscle or flesh to speak of, flexes his chest plate off like a baws.
ahhhhh, this game sure did bring back some memories. When i was just a child,i used to play this game on tablet but now its gone. But,this boss fight sure bring back some memories to me.
Santa Monica should make all the previous god of war games for ps4 like an HD collection perhaps
we did it boys, Pandora's guardian is no more
Love the hell out this design
Much good thanks
Sem dúvidas a batalha mais foda da primeira edição. Que saudades, véi... #Foda
My favorite god of war design goes for god of war 1 and 2 , holy fuck, this is my favorite GOW boss fight since I was little
One of my Favorite Boss Fights in God of War 1!
Minotaur: look I got moves, fear me!
Kratos: You ain't gonna do shit.
Damn this brings me back boy its been a long journey I was in high school when I first got my hands on God of War for ps2 and now an adult married and with child waiting for ragnarok years later
I love that minotaur❤ especially when apparently that looks like a cyborg!
Ooooh nostalgia at its best, these boss battles make God of war the beast title that it is. I loved the most recent addition but it did lack boss variety
*I think they should call this one "The Megataur"*
Theme sound very good, perfect
Mi infancia en un solo video:,)
I'd have to guess that's the actual Minotaur, being the first one of it's kind it would make sense for it to be the largest, and Hephaestus would seek to improve it in any way, be that surrounding its body with armour.
Oh see
Okkkk
Headcanon time! In addition to what DeciMation said, this is the Minotaur that Theseus killed.
No wonder how in GoW II, he seems so confident in beating Kratos. But I doubt that when Theseus killed this bull, it was undead and Steampunked out.
Horns, metall, armory? Is that the icon of sin?
(Losing armory, revealing something organic) This IS the icon of sin!
One of my favorite battles
I feel old when I watch this
This part was so much fun
Awesome gameplay bro
A giant undead Cyber armored minotaur. What a fun day!
My favorite boss fight in God of War games
Wow pandora guardian look awesome
Thanks for this. This boss does a horrible job at telling you what exactly you're supposed to do next after the QTE. I genuinely don't know how anybody could've figured out how to do move on to the next phase without a walkthrough like this.
That Minotaur is one of the most metal things I’ve ever seen.
This is the best god of war boss fight in all series
Whoa
Maybe, but it isn't as satisfying for me as killing Hermes, Helios, and Hercules.
Say that to alecto in his kraken form
@@federicosalas9781 Alecto was a good fight, better than the minotaur yes. But not as good (for me) as Hermes, Helios, & Hercules. Alecto was DEFINITELY a better fight than The Kraken in GOfW II.
@@ericblue5436 Alecto is the most epic Boss of all, but not the best in argumentatively or in history,in that case Hércules,Helios etc they are better bosses
In my opinion this is the best boss in this game the stage in this fits great and the music fits perfectly to the armored minotaur this is why kratos is a badass in all if the god of war games
Old and classic kratos merciless as always...
yep there it is....the Boss Fight that haunted my Childhood on how difficult it was and I didn't saw as a kid on how it died......
This is the god of war i miss
The battle is LEGENDARY 👍👍
Thanks
Did you just fight a giant fucking steer?
One of the most iconic God of war bosses ever
I think this is one of the most difficult bosses I've ever faced in my childhood (I was something like 11 years old)
I always struggled to pull out stick flinches, so many of them must have been a nightmare.
aaah this still looks good
This boss was more epic than the final fight against Ares lol
Strange to think how this is one of only three "proper" boss fights in the original GoW, the other two being the Hydra & Ares respectively...
Seems that from GoW2 onwards, boss battles pretty much became a dime a dozen in these games - back in the day, though, this fight really stood out!
Kadak re bhai
I had a spec of Heath going into this fight I watched this and I beat him my second try this really helped thanks lol
Why does the minotaur boss suddenly stands up after kratos smashes its head down on the ground???
He gets knocked
Cause he felt that shit and has to walk it off
Thanks for the tactics, using Artemis' Sword made my run much easier.
I tried it with the Artemis Blade on Normal and Hard Mode last night. It didn't make the fight any easier (maybe I was doing it wrong), but it DID make the fight more fun.
ICON OF SIN - Doom Eternal - has a huge reference from their boss battle!!
Nostalgia
It was such a rush the first time I fought him!!! Kick ass!
I honestly hated this boss so much as a kid. I had to have my older brother do the joystick thing for me because I found it impossible to do with my tiny hands.
Lol i finished this game on hard mode when i was 9 years
i suscribed!!!!!
LOVE THE SONG!!
One if the best boss fight !
what is name the cart graphic you have
0:35 Minotaur : dafaqichur problem ?!
this was the most badass boss fight back in the days, it looks easy all powered up... but the first time was kinda hard to defeat, ah the minotaur was so badass that even kratos took it as a trophy to his new throne later
Keep calm
When you are facing a giant armoured Minotaur
The only Enemy that scared me in GoW
Whooaa!! That's a big gigantic bull!!.
Im currently stuck on the minotaur boss. I dont know how you do the analog part so easily. I keep screwing up the rotations.
It’s like watching my own gameplay haha 👍🏾👌🏾
iv played almost all the games but it looks amazing in 4k 60fps
honestly what a terrifying boss fight, forget the multiple steps to beat it but they literally built it up to something you would fight as it keeps slamming the door. And what it does come it's as every bit as chaotic and intimating as your imagination thought it would be. freaking zombie no less like sheesh
He's really lucky the bull made a hole in the door
