I tried your advice for welding from one side to the other. I was a bit skeptical, but your reasoning made sense. I tried it on two 1.3m sections on a Ranchero tailgate skin and was pleasantly surprised at the consistency of the distortion and how quickly I was able to correct it. I could even see in my heat affected zone how consistent it was. Thanks for teaching an old dog a new trick!
Love the videos, they're great for unwinding! ...and the music on this episode (particularly the song starting around 9:30) was particularly excellent. (Edit: Also, the 928 looks SO FUCKING SLEEK in the background here, and I am a person who historically did not like the 928 and HATED the 940.)
Dude those panels are a real pain in the ass. With the first set I thought this must have happened by accident, but after welding in second and third set, I noticed they're all crab. Had to relocate every single thing, to make the turn lights align nicely. So who ever did these, must be burning in hell, rather than stepping his toe 😂
I'm a landscaper and people laughed at me when I got the $30,000 GPS guided lazer level out to make sure my race seat was mounted straight. I mean, it looked wrong and that seemed to be easiest way! It's accurate to 1mm!
I will forever be in awe of the Jedi ninja skills you have, to shape that metal like that! Incredible

Aftermarket is a pita sometimes , ,but if its all thats available they are a good start.
Absolutely!
Not sure where I found your channel, but glad I did, I really enjoy watching you guys work. Very cool craft/art.
Kmarts are like the Walmarts of Australia, yeah... I know, can you imagine. They even still have Woolworths. Bizarroland
Are these the light box panels the ones from TRE?
Growing the channel is inevitable when the production and quality of work is so good. ❤❤❤
After market parts are great, if you just so happen to be a master fabricator with a shop full of tools!!
You need some girls on the team. Equal opportunity employers and all that 😂
Does the higher cost of quality OEM parts outweigh the amount of dollars in labour trying to fit substandard parts?
Whenever I hear K-Mart I think of Root Boy Slim's Xmas at K-Mart. Too early for Christmas music! Thanks Ryan.
Ahahah 😂
We heard you like flares so we put a flare on your flares

They are ROUGH hahaha. I’m glad we aren’t the only ones experiencing this lol.
Really coming together, great editing!

watching your videos for some time, and just realized that your eyes are different colour
Is the cost of fettling the after market parts that cost effective to getting oem parts in some cases?
Dylan Hedrick?
Yep!
What fender flares did you use?
