Once the fight was over,the card was 114-116 for Bivol....and then they gave it to Arthur...wtf...boxing is like mathematics and not a power contest.
Beterbiev is, on top of being a smart tactician, just stupidly physically gifted. He barely needs to commit on his punches to generate power, so he's always balanced. He uses his arms and slight head movement very well for defense and is just crazy fuel efficient. Plus it looks like he has rocks under his skin.

Lot's of ducking going on in boxing and dirty deals and Hearn is one of the worst in my opinion. The image Beterbiev gave was a solid image of confidence, at no time was he in fear of Bivol. And the judges also saw this. Bivol may have back-peddled a little too much. But it was a close fight. Beterbiev was 39 years old and was still on top of it in the 12th round, he was never hurt, and none of them were. Both of them were in great physical shape. I would say Bivol lost because he did not have the punch to hurt Beterbiev, but he did out-box Beterbiev.

As much as I like bivol, I had beterbiev edging the fight at least 114 - 112. 116-112 is a stretch but I do believe the right man won. Bivol landed cleaner punches but Arthur did land much heavier shots and pressured him start to finish.

I had it a draw with Bivol 1 round up going into the 12th. I think it was a draw, but Beterbiev wanted it more in the 12th, pressured more, finished better. Definitely not a robbery. All commentators, ex boxer's, pundits, trainers, supporters thought Beterbiev was going to lose because of his knee operation, age and not being a better boxer....now imagine a better no injury beast mode Beterbiev 100% fitter would do K'O Bivol. This is the way I felt after they robbed Pacquiao against Bradley and Horn. In the Horn fight, Pacquiao landed 180 punches, Horn landed 80. You'll never see another fight in which the loser landed more than double the punches of the winner. In the Bradley fight, 126 sports analysts, reporters and pro fighters scored the fight. 121 of the 126 scored it for Pacquiao, they're average consensus score was a bit more than 8 rounds to 4 in favor of Pacquiao. Only 2 had Bradley winning, 3 others had it even. The Las Vegas boxing commission ordered an after-fight re-scoring. 3 judges watched a replay independent of each other, all 3 scored it 8 to 4 for Pacquiao. The commission said that despite the scoring of this secondary panel, the decision for Bradley would stand. Why did they bother with another group of judges scoring the fight if they had no intention of changing the outcome, what was the purpose?

It’s hilarious people calling a fighter winning a fight by two rounds. 114-114 is 6 rounds a piece. 115-113 is one round to the winner (7-5). 116-112 is two rounds.
I’m a fan of both fighters. It’s was an extremely close fight. So many rounds was hard to call. When Bivol was on the back foot in the the of the fight, he would have amazing movement but of have around 30 secs of moments. Beterbiev most of the time was pressing and being more active for the remainder of the rounds (2:30mins).
Come the final bell I couldn’t pick a winner. If it was a draw or a win by 1-2 rounds to either I wouldn’t complain.

I scored that fight 115-113 to Bivol and that is with me giving Beterbiev the last 2 rounds which he did win as Bivol eased off a little. He'll know not to make that mistake again, in a fight that's perceived as being close you need to finish well to avoid these rogue judge scenarios, but I had Bivol 4 rounds (97-93) clear after the 10th round

When bivol felt his power he backed off and started running.. he gave his hardest shots to biev but he still kept coming biev is a tank he was clearly unaffected fron what bivol threw at him dont forget biev has just come off a knee surgery less than 4 months ago their faces tell the truth bivol did zero damage to biev in that fight.
Not a robbery, it was a close fight. I personally had Bivol up two rounds but the early rounds were so close I could have easily see Beterbiev getting the nod. And even before they announced I wasn’t even sure.
I thought Betterbiev won 7-5 but contemplated on 6-6 but all 3 judge having Betterbiev round 3 which proves to me these are prewritten scorecards.
