when i put my key into the on position i get no movement on the gauges at all. it is a crank, no start. ive replaced all things except pcm the no gauge movement has me scratching my head, any ideas?
Can i use a regular test light for injectors and spark plug testing? Sometime i hear my fuel pump come on and sometimes it doesn’t. Also sometimes it starts and runs and sometimes it doesnt.
this is exactly what’s going on with my truck, i replaced my fuel pump with a brand new one and still sometimes it comes on sometimes it doesn’t. any updates on urs?
Sorry but if it starts with starter fluid the first thing I would check is the Schrader valve on the fuel rail to see if it's getting any fuel. It's obvious before you even mess around with any other testing

Oh, and I would have never thought in 100 obvious years to check the fuel rail, omg, so upset with myself. I hope you can teach me how to diagnose a car, omg, thank you
Having a similar issue but confirmed asd working but no spark as gauges cluster is fully operational (was told if asd operational then the cluster would not work properly.) Showing fuel level and fuel relay as Im hearing the oump activate but having a hard time diagnosis what it could be. Any recommendations on what to check?
Pulled pcm fuse and it is fine, traced the wire as well as I could with online diagram and appears to be fine, all connections seem to be fine. Can bridge the starter solenoid fuse and it will turn but not with the key (key and a transponder (black) separate, appears to have no spark but do not have the tools available to me to accurately determine the spark test like you do. I've boiled it down to the pcm itself, crank/camshaft sensor(s) or the ignition coil assembly (wires, plugs and coils) dash working, the mileage when tested shows no codes and says done, the head test pressing step and reset says pass and I am only showing a p0113 code (Intake Air sensor circuit 1 high) Replaced starter and battery and tested the fuses, all systems operational but not crank no start no spark from key 🤷♂️😭
Dash shows CEL and lightning bolt for the TCM, but believe that could be due to the no spark and registering it as it doesn't need to be open? I'm at a loss right now and have no idea.
Check all wring at PCM make sure grounds are clean and tight, make sure no blown fuses. Try having PCM tested if not get an identical PCM from wrecking yard and give it a shot, no promises tho._
@@hmarmobiletech8332 ended up being a super weird aftermarket security system that had blown an inline fuse and popped the switch which was the cause of the issue!
@@Ni_ghtmare I just bought an O6 charger and I believe to have the same issue with the aftermarket alarm. Was your vehicle throwing any codes? Pls help 🙏

U had security its the red dot that went out after bulb check, in dash rt side

What if it starts for about one minute then stalls out then it starts and you can keep it running if you keep it about 3000 rpm

@@anbush0621 yeah, i think that maybe the wiring harness wasn’t plugged in all the way, it was extremely difficult to plug in,

Same issue, replaced ECM, ignition switch and battery, still no crank, no start, no power on dash board

After watching many videos on this particular Ram issue,
My advice, get rid of the POS and buy a Toyota.
