For what..?? smoking weed, doing coke. Can't ever say that domestic abuse is ok, but would his girlfriends want him in jail ?? Maybe they'd agree that there was alot missing in his life - a bigger depth of family love might have made a bigger difference. Brian RIP🙏🏽❤

They keep the smut about Keith Richards quiet . Stones pianist and roadie Ian Stewart had to keep a list of airlines unwilling to let the guitarist aboard, and he later revealed that Richards was banned by Alitalia 'for staying in the restroom from Rome to London, punching that crazy Anita'. Similar outbursts would recur throughout the couple's 12-year relationship.

Brian was the strongest musician in the group. He had alot of personal problems, though; and that's why the group couldn't let him be the leader.
With him, they were a truly great blues guitar band, as well as being a very versatile pop group. He was onto the diversity of instrumentation trip with Brian Wilson, Donovan, etc... and the Stones really have never been as good as before he left.

He sat around the studio on acid half the time when the Stones needed him to contribute. The Stones never lost a beat decades after he was gone. Like a mafia thug he chose his fate and destiny. He should have been canned 2 years earlier. Maybe he could have found God then when God could still be found.

Despite his flaws, Brian was a very gifted musician. It is often forgotten he gave Hendrix his

No sir i did not, I grew up listenening to the early stones stuff as both my parents were hipppies, I always loved ruby tuesday. When I worked in Cheltenham I poured a bottle scotch onto his grave and emptied a gramme of speed onto his grave. I know it had a long way to reach him as I beleive he`s buried ten feet down with his hair bleached blonde. thanks again.

1967PONTIACGTO Their first album was covers, so Brian could have found some hungry songwriters that could fit the bill. Mick is a user and everyone knows that. Mick and Keith combined was deadly and it would have been a matter of time for them to kick Brian out. They manipulated the hell out of Brian and used his issues against him instead of helping him. Real sad

It almost happened to Ron Wood and Keith Richards. Their drug use was affecting the ability to go on tour. Not much was known or even treatable about mental health in the 1960s

    • @HARALDEMANN

casslac1981 Manipulated? Sure. Firstly, Mick and Keith were the ones who wrote their songs and that’s the very reason they became world famous. Had they continued Brian’s whises, they had stayed as a blues cover band. Would that have made them what they became? Surely not.
“User” or not, Jagger and Richards remains the sole reason for bringing them up next to The Beatles. And by the way, if they ‘manipulated’ Jones, then it was his own fault with his horrible personality. He took drugs to no good end, insisted on staying jealous of the writers and beat up Anita Pallenberg, so she couldn’t be with him. Keith never ‘stole’ her. Brian himself pushed her away. So sure, naturally they should just forgive him, right? They obviously to this day, think very negatively about him. Still, people think the band should just ‘forgive’ him and make their shows as tributes to him.
