- I went thrifting with my DIL Taylor at an absolutely BRILLIANT Goodwill in Denver. It was packed with people and we barely made a dent. We tried not to disturb the other shoppers. ☺️ She bought a whole shopping cart full of stuff for under $60!

I like all of Linda's videos; but I love her thrifting videos. I have been shopping at thrift stores for forty years (I am 62) and have passed on my habit to both my daughters. It is only recently that I discovered the fun jewelry that is available at thrift stores. Ironically, I was inspired to look because of all the cool/cute jewelry Linda wears and shows in her fashion epilogues.
Is that nice when mother-in-law and daughter-in-law have so much fun together.
I love thrift and antique store shopping! Oddly enough, my best find was in Oklahoma City. My husband was doing classes at the Postal Training Center in Norman years ago, and I tagged along. In afternoons and evenings we would venture out to the local antique stores. One day we walked into a store (I don’t remember the name but when we went back several years later the store was gone), and I saw something across the room that made my eyes go 😍😍😍⭐️⭐️⭐️. It was a gorgeous bust of the Madonna, sitting next to a bust of Jesus, which was sold. I was told they both came from a church in Belgium. When I got closer, it had a hold sign on it. I immediately asked the employee there about the hold sign, and how definite was the hold. She said it was almost certain. I left my number and told her I was leaving to go home the next day, and if the sale fell through, to call me. The next day we were all packed up, and getting ready to load the car when my phone rang. It was the store & the bust was available! We threw everything in the car, and raced to the store to get there before it closed. Today Mary sits on top of a bookshelf, looking out the front window of my home in north Alabama, where I can see her as soon as I pull into the driveway. She is highly coveted by several of my friends now! None of us are religious at all, but we love her dearly.

I live in Denver! I love our Goodwill stores. They are the best! First place I looks for anything.
That is a beautiful Goodwill store. Looks almost like a department store. Items are so nicely arranged. Makes me want to go Goodwill "hunting".
That was the neatest, best organized Goodwill I've ever seen - around my house the Goodwill stores are just kinda thrown together and unkempt ... y'all found some great finds and now my thrifting juices are flowing - perhaps tomorrow I'll take a wee bit of a road trip ????
