I LOVE mens shirts for gardening.. They're comfortable and if you pick them up at thrift stores they take the dirt well and don't break your budget. My mother said you can't have too many white shirts. Mom was so right!
I am laughing about one of your choices! Yesterday I was thinking how of all the youtubers I follow...you and I have the most similar taste in clothes. You picked up the scarf w/ Autominal color feathers on the black background. That is one of my favorite Fall scaves! I never tire of it . ENJOY! 😘 OH no just saw the end of video and you put the scarf back. LOL. I do ❤️ the one you bought as well.
I LOVE the yellow/green scarf! I would have snagged that too! I thought the blanket was a tablecloth! 😂I frequently buy things to take apart. That wreath was a real score. It’s crazy how expensive wreaths and holiday decorations are to buy them new. Even just buying the elements and making your own! Thrifting is the way to go.
Linda, you and Steward are so much fun to go thrifting with. I have been thinking of you spending time with your family and wishing the newlyweds many years of health and happiness! My daughter and her family live in Turkey so I know how difficult being separated can be, especially during the holidays. As, one of your many viewers, we love spending time with you, too. We have missed you so thank you for continuing to post videos. We will be "waiting" in your gardens for more of your wonderful videos, but please take some time to get rested! Hugs, Jane
Love your channel and Steward. I thought he was your husband when I first started watching your videos 🤓 you two make a great team. Wish I had a Steward .
These thrifting videos are right up my alley. I love to thrift. I find it makes me think outside the box. It is a great way to get new pieces for a fraction of the cost , and get new looks to inspire you. You did a great job in finding unique pieces. They are all truly beautiful.
The thing I love most about thrifting is the flexibility to reinterpret the items for my use. Then once I have enjoyed it I can either donate it back to the store or give it away as a gift. Thrifting is one of my favorite ways to unwind, too.
You are a wonder to continue your postings whilst you are away on a most wonderful, important trip to Singapore! It takes so much forethought and organizing for this to happen, and as one of your 'followers', I truly appreciate all those efforts!! Especially love your 'thrifting' videos with all the added suggestions on how to use, ect. Thank you, Linda... and Stewart, as well!!! A terrific team!
I love your purchases. I have really inspired by your thrifty shopping hobby. I never bought clothes from a thrifty store until I learnt that from you. Now I am hooked. I have found some amazing and very expensive brands clothes this Summer for nothing. Some of the outfits look so elegant and beautiful. Best of all, they are literally brand new and fits me perfectly. Yes, totally agree. Just like you, I have bought some beautiful clothes that I will wear for gardening. Thank you for your inspiration.
The guided pumpkins would look beautiful with your red gravel- maybe you could bring some gravel in to fill a tray to make a table scape or decorate your mantle with these pumpkins and topiaries. Love bringing the outside in…
Everything was fabulous finds!!! But what l love best is the cozy bar/library room. I would sit there all day reading . I loved when you left, and Stuart shared a tiny bit more of it . I was hoping that he would pan the entire room … maybe next time 🥰
Love the scarf, but really I loved it all🌺. The pumpkins were absolutely gorgeous, and what a great idea you had to redo it🍁Great video❤ Enjoy every minute of your son and daughters in-laws special day🌹
My grandmother used to make a wonderful eggplant casserole. It closely resembled dressing but the flavor was so different. I loved it. I love to go thrifting. I buy hard goods, linens, books and clothes. I just bought a blue & white sleeveless blouse that is nearly identical to that one at my Goodwill.
Tip - I carry a retractable tape measure in my purse so I can measure the bust, length and/or inseam of garments. It takes so much guesswork out of items you might not be able to try on as well as items you would take to the dressing room. I love your thrift store video's 💚
Yes on using glass with candlesticks out doors so the votives don't blow out. We use them indoors during summer as we are hot here and have ceiling fans and other fans going constantly from June through September.
For those little glass brass hurricanes.... You could put a little water, a sprig of evergreen and real cranberries at Christmas and a small little floating white candle!
👍👍you are very artistic and creative, If you go to Japan, particularly Kyoto, I think it will be paradise for you, Kindly try to visit Kyoto during Cherry blossom season, April 1st week. With best wishes, 🙏🙏
i am a little under the weather and I was so thrilled to see a video from you. especially thrifting today. don’t have energy for gardening. hope you are having a wonderful time.
Hi Linda and Stewart Good choice on that yellow ombré scarf. Aside from using blue clothing or jewelry to match your sparkly eyes you also look good in the yellow bc you are fair and the light colored hair goes very well with that scarf. I thought that red floral blouse was pretty and would have looked great with a fitted white tank and maybe a belt. Very tropical. Quick go back and get it!
Hello I love your thrifting videos. Yes...you are right. Why not dress up for gardening at those prices? You make it fun for us and yourself. The ornamentals were a great bargain too💞🍰
Linda, I am like you with zippers if they’re hard to zip I don’t use them but a little tip I found and it works put one drop of WD-40 on it and works like a charm there’s your tip for today love all your drifting videos so so so much you and Stewart make my day when you have these videos
Linda, Stewart and commenters. Does this happen to any of you, where you see a piece of clothing like that romper Linda held up and your like "soooo cute or pretty, I love it!!!" but it is totally age inappropriate?
Ok.... I am 3 mins into this video and am dying on those $1.00 / $1.50 prices. I am in California and nothing is ever a $1.00. I remember back in the day when plates were 5 for $1.00 Now they start at $2.00 or more each! A coffee cup is $3.00! Takes all the fun out of thrifting.
I absolutely love you and Stewart and your channel. I am so sorry, I forgot the name of your glass company that cuts glass for your tables. The information would be greatly appreciated
I can't help it, but I cringed when Okatsune pruners were used as wire cutters. Linda, you need to keep some wire cutters handy and they're much, much cheaper than those pruners.
@@matthewheeke4377 I just realized Felco has a multi-cutter tool that looks like pruners, but am unaware of any of their standard pruners which can be used to cut wire. That would be a great feature! Either way, replacement blades for my Okatsune and Niwaki pruners are simply too expensive to risk nicking them on wire.
I LOVE mens shirts for gardening..
They're comfortable and if you pick them up at thrift stores they take the dirt well and don't break your budget.

I love the first scarf! There is nothing at my thrift stores anymore for $1.

That's a great thrift store. I see a lot of teacher clothes in there. Cardigans and whatnot. Great video, Linda!
I love your thrifting trips! And if possible, I would love to see your Christmas candy making this year! Thank you!

The next time I come to OKC to visit my daughter and son-in-law, I want to go to this thrift store!!! Great finds!!

❤I love all your thrifting videos, but what I love MOST is Stewart's reaction 😂❤ love the combination of you two
I love it when you thrift!
I love that you are frugal.
I adore thrifting with you! Thanks for dragging me along. 😉

Love the umbre colors scarf… it definitely has the “Vater” look. And your tableau decor will be festive and expensive- looking. Great haul!
I was surprised you didn’t get the other scarf. It looked a lot like you.
I wish I had a Stewart!
Linda you make everything look like a million bucks! 😄
The thrift stores in Massachusetts are price gouging these days. A used plain glass votive candle holder would be $1.99.
I really enjoyed seeing all the things you could do with that wreath, in addition to the topiaries. That's gold content, right there!

That wreath looks like it was a garland? Good buy!👛
I really enjoy your thrifting trips-- such good tips on what to look for! Also, Stewart is a real trooper!,

These are WONDERFUL finds Linda! You also have a very keen eye for design! Love all your videos!
Linda you are a classic...love how you shop and recycle at the same time
I love the little topiaries and the blue and white blanket! Thanks for sharing!
Linda, I really enjoyed this video and loved the outfit you wore. You always give me ideas what to look for in my next thrift trip.

Nice thrift haul, Linda. Thrifting is always such a fun adventure. Always satisfying to find a great bargain. 😊💖🦋🕊
That gold purse that you pick up in part one would have made a great throw pillow. I am always using things for something quite different.
What a fun video...thx for taking us along. You have a great eye! Looking forward to seeing these finds in a future video...
Stewart: You are such a great sport!!!!
Yes on using glass with candlesticks out doors so the votives don't blow out. We use them indoors during summer as we are hot here and have ceiling fans and other fans going constantly from June through September.
I would love to drive up to OKC and go thrifting and antiquing with you. You seem like a fun and personable person to do this with.
I think the blue and white blanket is a hospital blanket! Could be cute for a lot of uses though!
I saw a gorgeous pink curtain in a thrift store and I'm like ..I wish I sewed ...make it into a pretty dress :) Making cushions too is a fab idea!
For those little glass brass hurricanes.... You could put a little water, a sprig of evergreen and real cranberries at Christmas and a small little floating white candle!
I love watching your creative side at work!

That was glorious going thrifting with you , thanks for taking me along ,awesome haul
The topiaries and pumpkins are fantastic. Loved the way you found beauty by taking apart a tacky wreath.

@@laurayoder3553 thank you. can’t wait to hear all about your trip and the wedding
What a score…LOVE the tableau!!
Loved this 2 part video. Those small candle holders make great cloches for small items!
I would spray paint a little bit of gold or silver glitter on the topiary’s.
So happy to see your video come up!! Great finds! Hope you are having a wonderful time and looking forward to your stories when you get home!
Leaves - SAGE GREEN, yes!
I love the stripe shirt.

Thrifting queen! Love this episode!
is that the same type of burlap that some gardeners protect their outdoor plants with?
I just love yr thrifted items…. NY jus don’t have the stores!
Love her! She's so interesting!
Linda, Stewart and commenters. Does this happen to any of you, where you see a piece of clothing like that romper Linda held up and your like "soooo cute or pretty, I love it!!!" but it is totally age inappropriate?
Absolutely!!!
Linda where did you get your watch band? thanks
Amazon:)
The scarf looks like you for sure.
Muy buena compra!

What was the name and address of the thrift store? I have a niece in Oklahoma City that would love it!
It is on 23 and Portland. Just called ‘Thrift’
I absolutely love you and Stewart and your channel. I am so sorry, I forgot the name of your glass company that cuts glass for your tables. The information would be greatly appreciated
Teresa, I saved that info for future reference:
Dulles Glass & Mirror. Best of luck!
Thanks for the backup!
Thank you so very much

A lot of those pruners are multipurpose. My Felco pruners have a wire cutter feature. I bet hers does too.

Why do I dress up when I garden, perhaps because I have a YT channel. Love your finds, wish you would of picked up the other scarf.
I do too now!
Who is Stuart and how old is Linda? She is very pretty.
You could use the fake pumpkins outside ……. quite squirrel proof
Good finds! 🌟
I would run from a nurse who came into my room wearing that!
Lol!!
Too funny!
