1) Be assertive and say no. 2) Don't react in the moment. Wait and focus on solving the problem, not on reacting based on feelings in the moment. 3) Respect privacy boundaries. Keep it professional. 4) Review emails for grammar & clarity prior to hitting send. Keep them short or call instead. 5) Don't use email to deliver bad or good news. 6) Never delay difficult conversations. The earlier you have the conversation, the higher the rate of success. It takes courage, so plan ahead. Write down facts, rehearse in mirror, then approach person, be respectful and objective. 7) Don't assume people have understood you. State action in a conversation and an email. With a deadline.
Seriously this is all great advice. I like that you mentioned how people should respect privacy! One of my biggest annoyances at work is how each person wants to know every little detail of my personal business and I feel like I'm constantly getting interviewed and judged.. it's very annoying, especially because I'm a private person and don't feel like talking about my personal business at all, but particularly at work.. to me it is unprofessional, I've tried saying politely that I don't feel comfortable discussing certain things at work and I get looked at as if I'm weird or hiding something. This is something I seem to have had an issue with throughout my entire career.
My working way is not so great ,I always end up submitting after the deadline But mam by seeing all of yr videos is really i'm feeling confident & getting courage that I can do that . I wish I meet in person. Thank you mam for the advise
your accent is so clear, understandable and stylish... please make vedios on the accent or pronounciation that makes our communication highly effective
Ms. Reema thank you so much for this useful & miraculously helpful video. I also like nice, kind & gentle professionalism thats why I just completely agree with you.
We endure these communication mistakes in the workplace. True we are friend to coworkers in order to be professional and have peaceful relationships. Even though not true friends but maybe after work they become friends or not. If not continue to be peaceful in the workplace.
there's more behind saying yes or no then just saying yes or no- people who have trouble putting up healthy boundaries have trouble say no or yes because of codependency.
Now I am very certain and realised that delaying the difficult conversation / task is what ruined my life so far. I pledge to correct this mistake and so do request other people like me to do the same..
Hi! I highly admire your sound English proficiency that brings the entire video to an outstanding standard. The topic is timely needed. The decent way you apply on truly stabilizes your successful existence on line. Thanks!Good Luck!
Skillopedia is doing very well.It is helping a lot people out there like me. But a few of your teachers are really very good but a few of them are not that good like her miss Riya.Miss Michelle is my favorite.I hope you would take this into consideration.Thank you !
I accept that I have created such an environment of accepting all works may be to show I can do and ofcourse to help others. Now my health deteriorated.i feel exhausted in work.i want to change the habit but my colleagues are being rude to get me work done even though I politely explain my way of no.but I don't know where I m doing mistakes madam.
Thanks I appreciate your vedio. As per my experience people toxify environment so much they don't listen or give opportunity for same. It's very difficult to clarify all or make them understand about us because many times they don't open up about their assumptions about us. Furthermore they authorize their assumptions to be fact.
I am a Filipino and I am here, I love Indian intonations specifically yours ❤️
