    1) Be assertive and say no.
    2) Don't react in the moment. Wait and focus on solving the problem, not on reacting based on feelings in the moment.
    3) Respect privacy boundaries. Keep it professional.
    4) Review emails for grammar & clarity prior to hitting send. Keep them short or call instead.
    5) Don't use email to deliver bad or good news.
    6) Never delay difficult conversations. The earlier you have the conversation, the higher the rate of success. It takes courage, so plan ahead. Write down facts, rehearse in mirror, then approach person, be respectful and objective.
    7) Don't assume people have understood you. State action in a conversation and an email. With a deadline.

Seriously this is all great advice.
I like that you mentioned how people should respect privacy! One of my biggest annoyances at work is how each person wants to know every little detail of my personal business and I feel like I'm constantly getting interviewed and judged.. it's very annoying, especially because I'm a private person and don't feel like talking about my personal business at all, but particularly at work.. to me it is unprofessional, I've tried saying politely that I don't feel comfortable discussing certain things at work and I get looked at as if I'm weird or hiding something. This is something I seem to have had an issue with throughout my entire career.

We endure these communication mistakes in the workplace. True we are friend to coworkers in order to be professional and have peaceful relationships. Even though not true friends but maybe after work they become friends or not. If not continue to be peaceful in the workplace.

there's more behind saying yes or no then just saying yes or no- people who have trouble putting up healthy boundaries have trouble say no or yes because of codependency.

It's very difficult to clarify all or make them understand about us because many times they don't open up about their assumptions about us. Furthermore they authorize their assumptions to be fact.
