@@ShesTheSkipper any aspect.. just day you magically found a lamp and you had three wishes. 🤣🤣

Hmmmm I guess at the moment I would wish for the below three things but if I really had a magic lamp I would be much more prudent, choosing one wish at a time so as not to make a wrong choice..
      1) To share this experience in person with even more family and friends. The one thing really lacking is community - in a way you have it because you are part of the sailing community and almost all other cruisers are potential new friends, but at the same time all are transient and you may have a great connection but never see them again. Those roots from land are still important
      2) To be able to help more in the places we visit as cruising has ruined our budget but at the same time we recognise that their are people in more need where we go and in reality we are living an elective life and they are still looking to fulfill basic needs
      3) To have no timeline on this trip whether hurricane seasons or visas or anything else. I want to get to know a place and the people but it all feels rushed!

@@ShesTheSkipper my wish is to go back to staying next to the sea I was brought up next to the sea I loved it nice walks along the beach and I loved the stormy weather walks along the beach. My other wish is my health to get better as am having trouble with my lungs taking steroids and inhalers to help me breath and my third wish I wish I'd met my wife earlier so we could have spent longer together we are 21years together. ⛵⚓🤘🤙💕💖

Whoa you are going to make me tear up, your wife must be something special. I'm sending you healthy thoughts 💙
Now tell me, which sea did you grow up next to? And where are you now? I hope you make it back there, the magic of being by the water is unmatched by anything else for me!

Delightful video, but being barefoot on deck while underway fooling with sails is not a good idea....

We always sail barefoot, and there are not many shoes that I would trust on deck. We splurged on good wet weather boots for cold climates but we found them more slippery. If you can feel under your feet what is happening you can accommodate for it. I think you'll find a lot of sailors sail barefoot!
