To anyone whose health results in unpredictable days of feeling great to feeling weary, I highly recommend Diane’s approach to the Flylady home management system - especially Diane’s emphasis on our morning and evening routines! I’m so grateful for what you do, Diane! You are blessing many by your approach to home and self care 💕 (I’m even starting to internalize your cheerleading rah-rah-rahs!
No one motivates me like you do, Diane! Thank you! I'll be watching your videos and pause and go and do a fifteen-minute chore then come back and finish the video. You have a rare gift!
Your suggestion of spreading the weekly home blessing over the week has been a game changer for me! Mondays are a wash for me because I'm usually sleeping (I work Friday- Sunday night shift). Spreading it out gives me time to recover and switch back to days (I have little ones to care for) but still get it all done. Thank you!
Bedside table de-cluttered, wrapping papers checked, and off to de-clutter the scarves! Thank you for giving us the opportunity to follow your lead! Morning and evening routines are going strong now and I am loving checking in with you every day!! Still working on trying to find some hygge time in my crazy busy life...I will get there but so grateful to have found you!
I've just started reading the Ruth Galloway series and am enjoying the first book. I did read Elly Griffiths' Smoke and Mirrors, which I thought was very good. I hope you'll film some of the Clothes Swap party--always enjoy seeing everything. Have fun!
Diane, when you plan your outfits with scarves, could you take a minute or two in your video to show how you tie your scarf? Sounds simple but I’m a klutz with scarves and I love how they look on other people and would love to be more comfortable wearing them myself. Enjoy the clothes swap party!
I LOVE your scarves! Beautiful! It is 6:30am here, I'm having my morning coffee, folding laundry while I watch your video. I too made plans to work in our bedroom, going through a couple drawers to declutter. Have a GREAT day!
I. Agree with Ann you are great. You don’t know how much you have helped me my house isn’t perfect and. Might never get there but at 75 years old with PD and cancer I am happy with my progress...The Wife joan🌹🌹🌹
Diane, I still have a set of the Carmen rollers, I brought them with me when I came here to live in Aus, over 40 yrs ago.I used to use them, now just keep them for sentimental reasons. I must switch them on one day and see if they still work! The tiny roller used to be my favourite one to use!
For anti-procrastination day I sorted through my mending/alteration basket and managed to complete a few jobs, plus get rid of some that I know I will never do! Managed to shorten sleeves on a jacket, so I can now wear it and see my hands lol!! Lorna
Always enjoy a declutter video! I'll go through my scarves next month as I was out of town last week. I have read 3 of Robert Galbraith's mysteries. My DD recommended them & I liked them very much. One was a little too graphic for my taste but still a good crime novel. I have the fourth one but haven't read it yet. Thank you for all you do for us!😊
Rah 🎉🎉🎉rah rah👔👕👖👗 Go you, Diane! Today's item is a pr of jeggings that DD19 happily took from me. Yesterday was a wrought iron plant🌱 stand that was donated yesterday..It had been shopped from room to room and was ready to be given the final kick out of the house!🏠 Black is gone from this T1 girl too; it helps to have a T4 DD😉 Happy 🍰🍰🍰baking and clothes swapping👗👚
I will definitely look for Tokyo Stories. I have finished a book "Berlin Noir" by Philip Kerr, you will probably know him he was born in Edinburgh, he passed last year. I highly recommend it. And I have also read "The casual Vacancy" by J.K. Rowlings (plus all the 7 books of Harry Potter which I read out loud for my dyslectic son who refused to make the effort, but we got so close together me reading to him and talking about the books afterwards. We are still trying to finish painting the living room!! we said that we will have our house clean and ready for winter by the end of the month. Have a very nice day!!
I have my anti-procrastination phone call list and papers before me with a cup of coffee. Gym this pm. Gave myself a mini spa with mani and pedi before bed last night. Upping my self and health care routine this fall. It is a mow up the leaves day before bad weather brings in snow cover for the year. Took photographs of items to list on our eBay site and local Marketplaces. It is our extra pocket money. I had to replace a pair of snow boots( I like your disintegrating boot story). I will brighten up the outside of my bedroom window while the weather is mild this week.I have a ranch uniform wardrobe but will shop for a Holiday outfit when in Washington, DC in November. I have volunteered to help with a community holiday party this year and my every-days will not suffice!Wednesday night: Have more wretched phone time tomorrow regarding health care insurance , but did get gas and a Christmas order came in.
Sitting outside in my car waiting for the trash man to pick up the trash ... since last week the did not pick up the trash ... it’s 5:00 am 23 October 2019 ... and I am hoping that the pick up the trash ...
The name of the Anthony Horowitz book which I couldn't remember is "The Magpie Murders"
I think I have read most of Horowitz's books. I'm waiting for a new one now!

Thank you for bringing the sunshine, as the days are drawing in. :)
Oh my gosh! My mother had those same curlers! I had totally forgotten about them. I also enjoyed playing with them! Happy memories 😍
Diane, your wallpaper is absolutely gorgeous! Wallpaper usually scares me, but I could definitely do that tone on tone floral. 🥰😍

Thank you Diane, inspiring as allways. I decluttered my wardrobe today. All my favorites have room to shine, now🤩
I would love to see a video, Diane, where you show how you style your scarves. You always look so lovely!

Hi Diane, I live in tropical Queensland Australia and still have around 15 scarves! I live in hope that there’ll be a cold change one day 😎
Love your blouse it really suits you as everything you wear 😘

Diane, I am with you, have tried those magic erasers several times! Never works for me either! Thanks for inspiring me! Your DYT 1-2 fan from Maine! 🌸
That is such a type 1 reason to keep a scarf: this one reminds me of ice cream! Keep being you!
Thank you!
