If a person has only a few basic necklaces what is the best way to style tops or n sweaters i hope you can help
@@michellegiblin6812 scarves are a really good idea as Diane said. I wear them a lot. Also keep your eye out for good costume jewellery on sale if you want to increase you choice. A different take is wearing a good quality piece of jewellery (gold or silver) that you can wear basically all the time. You need to love it? Ask family to pitch in and buy for a birthday/Christmas present. Then enjoy your signature piece!
I love all of your videos! You're my "go to" to watch/listen to while I'm working to motivate me to get things done when I've completed my work day. I really appreciate these types of videos since fashion isn't my strong suit. I'm looking into DYT. I think your energy and enthusiasm could convince me to do just about anything. :)

I love this video!! Thank you for doing this with us! I am just hopeless when it comes to making outfits. I buy nice things, I'll even lay them out in outfits like this sometimes, but I always end up wearing jeans and a single color t-shirt.
I am a type 4 with a very strong secondary 1, so you and I have a lot of similar preferences: structure, color blocking, fitted things, not too much going on in one outfit, simple patterns. Anyway, this was very helpful and inspiring for me! I would love to see these regularly as you get new pieces from clothes-swaps!

I have a nude sequined dress top like a shell and have not found a way to wear it but dressy. Hmmmm I will have to ponder on this!

Hi Diane, you are so creative with your outfits and it is so much fun to watch you setting up your outfits of the week. Although I am not following the dressing your truth system, watching your videos led me to change the colours I wear. I had noticed that somehow I have a problem with black and now I understand why. I haven't eliminated black completely but wear a lot more blue now. Now I also understand why I don't feel comfortable (and don't look good) in very feminine clothes. Thank you very much for your great videos.

I absolutely LOVE all the bright, vivid colors! So many beautiful pieces!
I've decluttered my closet significantly and now only have a few pieces, things I really like - but I still don't plan my outfits! I don't know why. This video has inspired me to give it a go this week. Thank you so much for your help with this dressing stuff from one T1/4 to another! It's a lot harder for some of us than for others 😉🦋💃

I agree with the jewelry as souvenirs. I too hate clutter and therefore figured out the most practical (T3) memorabilia that I can buy is jewelry...which I also love, so it's a win win! :)

Diane, I love the way you put together outfits! Yesterday I put two clothes hooks on the back of my bedroom door (like you) and started hanging my outfit for the day. Where I live it is hot most days (32 C.) so I rarely wear scarves but I’m wearing more jewelry. Just started Dressing your Truth and I’m a 4 but not yet sure of a secondary energy. Have a great day.

Vacuumed under the bed today. I keep a container with my off season clothes there. Nothing else. I went through them a few days. ago. Washed our bath walls and scrubbed the shower. Tonight after easy dinner' yard work, the fall planters will be finished up. I agree about the multi use and purpose clothing.
Guilty as charged. I've been putting the daily habits in place, but I haven't been putting together outfits and I end up sitting in my PJs. Can we do a challenge?? ;) Coming from a fellow T1 who is learning to love fun.
Thank you Diane . I’m putting much more thought into what I’m wearing and it saves so much time deciding what to wear in the morning when my outfit is ready to wear. I think in the last few months there has only been a couple of times I didn’t wear what I’d put out.

Great video. I,m looking forward to some hot weather again and will soon be sea bathing every days after a break . August has been crazy for me and my husband hasn't been well so it's ages since I've even been to local heated outdoor pool.

I just feel if someone is doing detail cleaning or their weekly homeblessing Tidy first do your morning routine then tackle it. I have just watched some do a speeded up power hour . I find the whb gets so much more done and flylady is so methodical.

I love your new colors! You look fantastic in them and you look so youthful and energetic in them. I had a thought about your navy dress. You could wear a blouse or a t-shirt or t-sweater under it for a different, more casual look. Don't know if that would work with your new #1 style--maybe the yellow blouse? Anyway, I love, love, love your transformation!

Great video! The navy dress is a wonderful purchase.
I need to put outfits together in daylight to make sure the colors go together. As the days get shorter and I don't preselected an outfit, getting dressed before dawn or with shades down or during a rain storm, putting colors together under lamp light can be more disastrous than mismatched socks. Yikes!

Thanks again Diane....are you sure you don't have a camera set up in my room? 🤣 . Today I've been choosing clothes for a few days away, unsure of the weather down south and want to take as little as possible. I have cleared my wardrobe of 'moth colours' and it is all hanging or KonMarie folded...there was me picking a skirt and laying it across my t-shirts to see which colours went! Jeans with a couple of tops, a cardi that goes with a jeans outfit and a dress, another dress, with a different cardi that goes with a skirt and a tie waist broiderie anglais blouse as a blouse or to cover my shoulders if it gets chilly!!! AND...matching shoes and handbags x2! And I've hung it all on hangers to see how it looks...and I might just transport it all like that!
DD10 has also purged her wardrobe and I've folded for her, and we went through so quickly to choose her 6 outfits plus one to wear tomorrow, all a mix and match depending on weather....she's also having great fun with her Student Control Journal...and I think might also be getting addicted to your videos....get 'em young!!.....THANK YOU xxx

I have been watching some other posters to help keep me motivated, BUT so glad to get my hygge fix again. It has really helped with the moving in process in our new home. And I find it easier and easier to add items to my donation basket (full now; have to find a good place to take it/them today.
Also channeled you in organizing my wardrobe. Can you tell me which video will remind me of your method of jewelry organization? I’d like to wear some of mine, but always trying to dig it out and untangle it is daunting and self-defeating...and I don’t even have tons of it.

Love how you wear jackets, I adore them. But here where I live in Australia we only get to wear jackets for about a month out of the whole year. It’s just too warm. Very little winter.
