📰 JERUSALEM, June 10 (Reuters) - Intel Corp (INTC.O), opens new tab is halting plans for a $25-billion factory in Israel, Israeli financial news website Calcalist said on Monday, in a report that the chipmaker did not confirm or deny. The U.S. company, asked about the report, cited the need to adapt big projects to changing timelines, without directly referring to the project. "Israel continues to be one of our key global manufacturing and R&D sites and we remain fully committed to the region," Intel said in a statement. "Managing large-scale projects, especially in our industry, often involves adapting to changing timelines. Our decisions are based on business conditions, market dynamics and responsible capital management," it said. Israel's government in December agreed to give Intel a $3.2-billion grant to build the $25-billion chip plant in southern Israel. Intel has previously said that the factory proposed for its Kiryat Gat site, where it has an existing chip plant, was an "important part of Intel’s efforts to foster a more resilient global supply chain" alongside the company’s investments in Europe and the United States. Intel operates four development and production sites in Israel, including its manufacturing plant in Kiryat Gat called Fab 28. The factory produces Intel 7 technology, or 10-nanometer chips. The planned Fab 38 plant was due to open in 2028 and operate through 2035. Intel employs nearly 12,000 people in Israel.

Hez's revenge on behalf of Gaza was pretty weak, IMO. I'm hoping that Nasrallah wasn't showboating on TV but, really has the power that he's been claiming for so many years. He'd better start using his trump cards quickly.
I thought it was pretty obvious that they would largely be Hezbollah troops. He mentioned in the video that a senior leader was among those got targeted.
This is the first time I could sense some bias in the content which is rare or maybe not noticeable. Correct me if I am wrong but the video stated that Israel is hitting military targets in Lebanon and Hezbollah is hitting civilians and factories. This should be fixed because videos circulating online makes it quite clear that Israel doesn't refrain from attacking civilians, both in Gaza and Lebanon.
Yes indeed, I was going to comment on this but thanks for saving me of the hassle. Hope it's incompentence and not malice from his side. Matter of fact he proceeded in contradicting himself by stating that both sides evacuated the civilians. Hezb made sure from the start to target military targets exclusivly, knowing that civilian casualties would cause a major retaliation from the idf. It's a documented fact that Isreal has targeted civilian infrastructure, reporters, paramedics, farmers. He also mentioned that Isreal has burned "shrubberies" in Lebanon, in fact they burned crops and olive trees solely to cripple the harvesting season and the olive oil industry that contributes majorely to the lebanese economy. I would list further observations but it would take an essay which this video doesn't warrant.
Israel doesn't intentionally target civillian infrastructure. Most of the times, civillian infrastructure is used by militants which according to Geneva conventions causes these protected sites to loose some of their protected status. If you look NATO-ISIS wars, you will notice that ISIS also used hospitals and school to fire at NATO. Jihadis stop at nothing, they have 0 care about civillain life.
A disingenuous observation, considering the war doctrine of Iranian proxies; i.e., conceal militant fighters, equipment, and infrastructure behind civilians (a war crime, by the way, but the "videos circulating online" that you're gravitating to likely don't mention, let alone highlight, that inconvenient fact.). One thing we could both hopefully agree on is that total war would be a grim outcome in this conflict.
@@thebeardeddog8904 It's indeed a war crime and more egregious for hzbollah a blasphemous act that contradicts their relegious beliefs . Now Isreal is not any better, if you have any access to local lebanese media live feeds, check mtv who btw are staunch opposers to hezb and their existance, you will see that in the early stages of the conflict Isreal targeted international and local news reporters in open fields and they clearly had the press badges that can be seen even from the sky. They targeted paramedics and firemen multiple times. All undisputed war crimes, which IMO were made on purpose to terrorise the lebanese civilians resulting in them evacuating the south effectively.
Describing Hezbollah as the aggressor (it seems) while the video’s own data shows a 10:1 ratio of Israeli attacks to Hezbollah is an…interesting assessment.
It’s like in world war 2 when Japan attacked pearl habour and then the US responded by destroying their empire in the pacific. US was clearly the aggressor
Aggressor means the one agitating. It does not mean the one with more capability or power. If Ireland decided to sink a US ship in a surprise attack and the US retaliated by wiping out all their military bases. Ireland would still be the aggressor. You don't get to pretend you're just minding your own business when you are actively pursuing terrorist activity against another nation.

@@mustafanaser9789 The Palestinians moved into Lebanon and ruined it. There's a reason Kuwait and Jordan kicked them out, they don't know how to live in peace with anyone, even themselves
It is tragic, especially knowing both sides reached a peace agreement 30 years ago. It is worth mentioning that Netanyahu was already active in politics back then, and opposed the peace agreement. On both sides, fanatics opposed the peace agreement and the whole thing fell apart after the assassination of Rabin. Since then, Israel has done nothing but building illegal settlements in Palestinian territory and trying to oppress Palestinian protests... fully supported by the US. I don't see how Israel will manage to survive on the long term without reaching a peace agreement.
The second Palestinian intifada is what killed the peace agreement. Netanyahu was nowhere in politics and was trounced by Barak in 2000, who promised to "storm the citadels of peace". Instead what he got is mass murder perpetrated by ALL Palestinian factions. That burned any goodwill the Israelis had left and opened the door right up for Sharon and later Netanyahu.
This is incorrect. After the 2006 second lebanon war that was started by hezbolla, a new ceasfire deal was achieved, and according to it there must not be a hezbolla presence on the southern side of the litani river. While israel kept all of the ceasefire's terms and has shown no hostillity towards hezbolla and lebanon since the end of the war, hezbolla has broken not only this term but many ithers to. In fact for years now, they have had some permanant troops statiend across the litani near the israeli border.

Intel stopped building a $25 billion USD chip factory in Israel.
📰
JERUSALEM, June 10 (Reuters) - Intel Corp (INTC.O), opens new tab is halting plans for a $25-billion factory in Israel, Israeli financial news website Calcalist said on Monday, in a report that the chipmaker did not confirm or deny.
The U.S. company, asked about the report, cited the need to adapt big projects to changing timelines, without directly referring to the project.

@@aliiyazzbek4394 ??? What land does Lebanon occupy? Are you thinking of the Golan Heights? That is Syria's.
I hate to break it to you but civilians tend to die disproportionately in every single fucking war ever.
He is Azerbaijani.
Just discovered your channel and it’s amazing. Love the videos and news. Thank you
10:55 proof that petah tikva does not exist
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Not to mention the location of petah tiqva south from rishon
Funny i didn't notice that
😂😂😂😂
Lebanon used to be a beautiful country, before Islamic extremist destroyed it 😢
Lebanon was a beautiful country before its feral neighbor to the south moved in.
@@BlackPill-pu4vi You mean the Palestinians 😉
@@notthefbi7932Palestinians and Lebanese used to be almost one Nation.
@@mustafanaser9789 The Palestinians moved into Lebanon and ruined it. There's a reason Kuwait and Jordan kicked them out, they don't know how to live in peace with anyone, even themselves
@@notthefbi7932 No, I mean the creatures who moved in after 1948.
Nice vid, as always, thank you:)
Where is lebanon army and government what are they doing ?
Traitors
*Running away like cowards*
We dont even have a government 😂😂🤣🤣
Just for parade.
Taking Hezbollah money
The Trebuchet was most likely a joke as the IDF has (as expected) better weapons than the Trebuchet
this was probably to show that the IDF isn't that interested/doesn't want to fight with Lebanon
That's my opinion but what do I know I am just a simple resident of Haifa
no. it was in response to an attack from hizbollah which missed its military target and started a shrub fire. They used a Trebuchet to fling small range small output fire bombs to start fires in the shrubs of Lebanon - on purpose.
This is one of the best unbiased reports about this conflict that I’ve seen so far.
I don't think Israel will invade Lebanon in the near future. We can start talking About it when the resistance in Gaza is over.
its unclear, as a lebanese it doesn't look like that.
hezbollah is putting pressure in israel for more concussion in peace talk because it know they don't want war, kinda like a chicken game.
but after US election we can't be sure how thing will look like, its clear that israel don't have the back of west for war at least before the election.
The goverment of gaza could surrender today and end the war, isb't it?
@@johnnym1234 the government? and surrender? are their army fighting? do they even have one?
and the war will end? like it was "ended" before that?
there huge difference between ending the war and submitting to the war, syria and israel are in a war but one which syria never fight back and just submit to any attack done by israel.
that doesn't mean there is no war, there just no two parties activity engage in one.
israel war with the locals have never stopped since its formation regardless when the locals fought back or not
As an Israeli, ask yourself: Even if Israel wins this war, why would you stay when you have a second passport? Here is some friendly advice: Leave while you get a visa! It has been 76 years, and Arabs haven't relented. Your future doesn't seem bright. Do what the French did in Algiers: Pack up and go home. This land isn't yours. Much love and respect to Shirvan. I was a subscriber since you had 10k subscribers.
Most of the Israeli population today descends from Jews who escaped persecution in Arab countries. They don't have second passports.
They are only one more genocide away from a homeland though.
Maybe the Arabs should ask themselves too, what will be if they conquer Israel? Will it be an advanced and prosperous country of Palestine like Israel? or an average Arab country? I am not too optimistic about this.
Arabs have much more reason to fight since this is their region and their homes and unlike israel they dont have option to have second passport to certain countries outside of the region so they have more reason to fight than israel. @@sphinxtan9158
@@sphinxtan9158 it will be how syria and Iraq was before the war and how saudi arabia and Morocco etc.. will be. I had longer comments to respond to you in Details but UA-cam playing stupid games
I think a rather large point got missed. This isn’t a war between Israel and Hezbolah. This is a war between Israel and Iran. For Israel to survive, Iran must not.
Right? like what is invading lebanon gonna do, they might as well invade every middle eastern country if they want to eradicate all their enemies lol,
like invading Lebanon is gonna fix things
By Iran you of course mean the current establishment.
If the progressives win the elections in Iran this might end as fast as it escalated
this is a war between US and iran correction as proven how iran and saudi became friend the moment china entered the scene.
if u think iran care about israel purely for israel u naive.
Excellent analysis and review. I’m your newest subscriber due to this post. Fair and balanced.
If Israeli Army couldn't destroy Hezbollah during the 1979-2000 occupation of Southern Lebanon then what makes them think they can do it now?
And that's when they had the SLA(Southern Lebanese Army) on their side! And now the SLA no longer exists.
Exactly, neither were they able to destroy it in 2006 for that matter. So they tried already several times before to achieve this objective.
They never tried to destroy Hezbollah just like they never tried to destroy Hamas. A war with the objective to destroy Hezbollah is completely different.
@@lad7436 So what were they doing those two times when they tried entering Lebanon? Coming to visit the beaches of Lebanon?
They can't even destroy Hamas with the help of US UK and German military😂
they didnt try to completely wipe out the whole hezbollah
