Everyone is here for the crab. Such an interesting topic.

Keep her happy. She's definitely worth it.
Yes, you are very blessed to get to know her and spend time with her, she seems real nice and is a good getter!
Let’s be honest fellas we are the blue crab that took the bait
I love watching a foot ball game with a whole mess of crabs. It's the perfect football food, even better than wings.
Andy feels like he has ''stage fright'' sometimes, but when he relaxes and lets himself go, you two make a great duo, combining each other's aura''... keep it up, and try different things, communication is a skill worth having, and fun to practice!...
You sound like a true Bye-Den voter LOL!
This disabled veteran says great job great teamwork and I pray you have many more years to come together… I really like your video until,,, you think the Lord Jesus,,, now I love you guys… keep it up🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I love that yall pray together.
ew
It seems the bait worked. We are all here.
@TelefoneMotorola-iy8oz Actually, the only way I found this channel is fishing content, and who knows, maybe because I lived in Merrit for a couple. However, my man, I may not see things the way you do.
VERY... Good thing that y'all pray together!!!💯
He’s definitely right on the cooking time
Nice upgrades
You all make me envious. While in the navy we were stationed in Baltimore Md. for a year. Coming back from town one night a bunch of us saw crabs on the dock pilings. We go a couple of trout nets and taped them on to long poles. Then we started netting the crab and put them in some wooden crates. We must have caught a hundred maybe more. In the morning I went to the mess deck and asked the head cook what they were going to have for dinner that evening. I told him about our crabs and then showed him as he didn't believe me. He asked our captain and he agreed. The captain even gave the head cook some money from petty cash to buy the "Old Bay Seasoning". So they cooked up all the crap and even the officers joined us for chow. It was great and something I will always remember. This was somewhere around 1973 or 1974.
Do you chum for bait when using the cast net? We would either mix bread, cheese and a little water to make dough balls, baseball size. Pitch them in where we will throw the net wait a few minutes and cast net in. Or we would make dough balls out of dry pet food. Love the cooking part of your post. I'm always looking for new ways of doing things like cooking. Thank you so much.
Long time ago - now MD crabs are mostly from Louisiana shipped their daily on S.W. airlines (Fact)
@@spaceace9680That's funny, we crab here in Florida, but when my neighbors son flys his plane down from MD every other month he brings down baskets of MD crabs he traps.
Our crabs are slightly taster but the MD crabs actually have slightly more meat on the same size as ours. Compared twice to dbl check.
Dude how do even get out the house...
Amen to great seafoods and great times... great video guys
Heidi and Andy, reminds me of crabbing in the intercoastal waterway Surf City N.C. We made our own pots and did pretty good. Thanks for the memory. Still lovin'it from Texas 💖...O yes Old Bay never a doubt!!!
@@doylemontgomery3944 gotta make it happen!
Thank you gorgeous angel lil , for this absolutely beautiful post to bring so much happiness and joy into my weekend. You always know how to bring so much positivity into this world. I really appreciate everything that you have done for us all. I hope you are doing well?
As young boys we would chicken neck crab off a pier. When done we would freeze the bait for later use and reuse the chicken necks each time we went crabbing and the nastier & more rotten the chicken neck bait got the more the crabs loved it.
Also you can steam the crabs with beer and use vinegar for dipping back-fin meat and also melted drawn butter is good too.
We used to set the necks and legs out in the sun the day before. It was freakin nasty..but it worked very well.
New Orleans guy transplanted to VA chiming in... You should boil using Zatarain's Crab Boil. Old Bay is okay, but Zatarain's is the stuff. Also, if you use the cocktail sauce, a little dollop of horseradish helps spice things up. Mix that into the cocktail sauce, with a little lemon juice, and dip away. If you use the Zatarain's, you won't need any other spices. Trust me.
I 100% agree with you it's way better
you are correct sir
Отличное, интересное получилось видео! Мне очень понравилось! Круто Круто!!!👍❤️
He is spot on 10 mins max then ice them down for 30 mins "no fail recipe" I am 76 trs old and this is the way I have done my crabs shrimp and crawfish since I started cookin at 15...love the show...from Texas
Yep 10 mins
The icing on the cake here is that you guys thanked the Lord Jesus. Truly, that brings this whole thing together. Amen.
@@duck_rifle5879 absolutely! 🙏🏼
Now only if Heidi dress more modestly like a proper Christian woman is suppose to dress and she would actually be a respectable Christian woman
Yeah I’m sure Jesus approves of them living together and knocking boots before marriage right? Hypocrites like referred to in the Bible.
there is no Jesus his name is Yahushua.

Haha nobody is gonna listen to you because you can’t even spell.
Man Please, that’s Woman is GORGEOUS 🤩😜👍👍
We used to catch shrimp in causeways in cocoa beach with Florida shrimp traps . 1’x2’x3’. Put them up against the sea wall under the causeways. Fill up a 5 gal bucket in r hours on a good night . Ranged from salad shrimp to 15-20.
Pretty work y'all. Heidi I think you were on them but could stand to let that smaller net sink a bit longer before pulling closed. 😎
I love fishing and crabs 🦀. Great job, guys. Jesus loves you
Love the crab fishing fun, both your chemistry and vibe! I love the natural couple interactions…just …all of it! Can’t wait for the next adventure !
I like to do 8 minutes per pound at a full rolling boil for hard shellfish--like crabs, crawfish, and lobster. I'd say maybe 2 minutes for soft shellfish like shrimp, prawns, or de-shelled scallops and clams. I don't want to disparage your cooking methods, Heidi, but I think anything past 12 minutes might make the crabmeat a bit rubbery. I definitely don't like it squishy like you said, but I think there's a "happy medium" somewhere between 5 and 10 minutes. :) All that said, your husband is one lucky fella!
Sorry Andy and Heidi, but there's really only one reason all of us guys out here watch your videos....hi Heidi.😊
The prayer was amazing!!!
Love the videos lovely to see you looking so happy keep smiling mate from your 🐺 pack in Perth Western Australia 💜
@@davidwilding799 hello mate!
wow, I have not eaten crabs long a long time look so nice. so peaceful feelings when you guys do pray before eating nature's gift. Amen.
What a lovely couple!
Oh wow that looks so good. I use to use chicken necks and real cheap. God bless take care.
Find a regular grocery store, not the upper scale, have frozen leg quarters in 10 lb bags. Here, $7.99. Let set 2 days in a bucket, thawing and starting to spoil.
10lbs will do 5 traps unless you've a lot of pin fish, mangroves, etc small enough to fit through the bait compartment mesh.
Soak atleast 48 hours minimum, I do 72-96 hours depending on the pins etc finishing off the bait.
Yep, steam 20 or boil like they prefer here in Florida 10-12.
I love that you are back posting more frequently.

LOLOL So Andy skunked ya on bait catching ! Great video.
Looking super fit those abs crab is delicious especially a crab salad the prettiest women on tv ❤❤❤
Great seeing Ya'll!! Fun video, nice Blue Crab. Blue Crab is big here in West Virginia pan handle. Have to admit I prefer Alaskan King Crab but have enjoyed some Maryland Crab Cakes. Ya'll have a great evening!! May God Bless Yall with abundance of peace and happiness!!
I love this video. It takes me back to when I was a kid. We had a cabin on the Chassahowitzka River here in Florida in Citrus County and went crabbing all the time, put out traps, caught them in a dip net, then took them to the cabin to steam them in Old Bay and back out on the dock on the river to crack them and dip the meat in lemon butter. YUM!
Thanks for the video. You guys are awesome!
Nice purchase
You are ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!! ❤
Lived just down the street from Chesapeake Bay, used to catch em with chicken on a string, toss em in a fruit basket, caught a ton in no time. Mom would cook them, great times.
Thank you Heidi and Andy i believe fish is better bait .As i told my sister once there is no KFC in the ocean. Thanks for the adventure and cooking the catch. Enjoy the harvest and Thank you both. Look forward to the next adventure.
More catch and cook content please! I’m a sucker for catch and cook 🤤
Love your dog
I remember when I was about 10 or so and this was way back in the early 80's my friend and I used to use raw chicken to catch crabs right off the dock and though we never kept them it was fun catching them and I think these were blu crabs but not sure they were crabs that liked to hang out by docks and this was in Florida near the Ft Lauderdale area. The crabs went crazy for chicken it was wild lol. Oh by the way we were using just hooks and a fishing line to catch them.
Im in Perth Western Australia and i cook our crabs in the water we catch them in. Makes them taste even sweeter. And sorry Heidi im with Andy on the cooking time, 10mins max into boiling water. Better tasting than crayfish hands down. Love the videos too🤙🏼
@@kingtaniwha7271 that’s boiling water! What about steaming??
Never ate crab befor tells how much of a hillbilly I am think I ate shark didnt think it had much of a taste never had lobster either but am glad you all are haveing fun Kevin from missouri
Here in Louisiana I think mostly we boil our crabs, so the cooking time may be a bit different, but I go 12 minutes and let soak for 10-15 minutes in the seasoned water. Either way I bet they were good eating!
I actually cooking mine ( steaming ) like 15 - 20 min then let them rest, yes with old bay 😊
Im so happy for you and Andy take good care of her she's absolutely a beautiful woman and a real keeper❤⚘Best to you both ❤you will never find another wonderful person like her ⚘Love always ❤
you don't need a "trap door" on the bait cage. You cram the bait in there and drop the pot in the water....the bait hole opening facing the bottom of the creek......the bait will stay in there and when the pot sets on the bottom that'll keep the bait in place.
Thank you both for the video. I agree Old Bay is always good I like even making traditional cocktail sauce with horseradish, ketchup and hot sauce. It's better to hunt, fish, trap, forage or grow your own food or as much as possibly can.
You are a power couple, I wish you both the best. Keep the content rolling. Amazing!
Loved the Vidja!
Hi Heidi 🙏for another
Wonderful video.I was going to
Comment yesterday however.

Time seeing your videos.

Looks amazing, even have the old bay, perfection!
Cover and steam over medium-high heat until the crabs are bright red, 25 to 30 minutes.
@@shaneprothero3315 thank you!!!
Great video. Our crab pots had old plastic lids from coffee cans or crisco, wired up with bungee cords.
As always beautiful and a great video
That was so cool!! See you on the next one! Best, ~Stan
we call them blue swimmer crabs in australia put them in some cold water when takem out of the pot
Haaaa, excuses, excuses bait capturing 😂 Andy did so well to not even smirk while you were talking about your hard luck fishing lol. Cool stuff team, very entertaining 😊
Love you, keep up the great work !
Thank you! Will do!
I’d be scared of the crabs getting food poisoning from that $1.59 pack of chicken- I’m in Georgia and same pack at the pig wig is $6 bucks lol
So happy u guys are back regular
Put them on ice, will calm them down, clean them traps off after every use. Get them in deeper water
Put the crabs in the steamer pot and put old bay on them in layers of crabs. Let the pot come up to a boil with the lid on first by itself. You can the just take off the top and put the steamer basket on and put the lid back on. Just a tip for your cooking videos lol😂😂😂.
Did I just hear him say, “I’ve got a little mullet”? Well. If I was him then that would be just fine because he’s got her! What a looker! : - )
Lol just commented on your survey question while watching this. Looks like you 2 are having fun

Nice video Heidi. Glad to see you creating more content. Stay positive and do away with any harmful or negative thoughts or actions. All the best.
Keep a master pot to hold crabs that have been caught.after adding for a few days you will have plenty
Those twins are perfect. Great job. Not that you needed them, since you’re a very pretty girl. But god damn, what a great job they’ve done.
YOU BOTH ARE GREAT,THANK YOU.FLORIDA,SOUTH CAROLINA AND MARYLAND CRABS ARE GOOD.
I've had to check out for the last 6 months, county fair, animals and such. Made an instant farm over night. Goats, pigs, chickens, dogs, it's been a ride. Can't believe you got skunked by Andy with the net. Great to see him settle into his skin on camera. Your way more polished and not as raw in this video as just 6 months ago. It's weird looking back at 10,000 subs and 500,000 subs. Still like the raw too.
Yum!!Excelente Trabajo Chef.Los cangrejos se ven Sabrosos🌷

That looked like so much fun clean living didnt cost that much makes it even better
Teamwork glad to see it
I just clicked on this video to see the Crabs!😉
🤥
I always kept my crabs in my bait tank to let the clean out some. Within one day the meat would be so clean compared to right out the mud. I have a bait tank on my dock. When I was 10 I had a Jon boat with a 6hp and I would scoop crabs off dock pilings, after school and make around 100 a day at 5.00 a dozen wasn’t long till I had a 20hp and center console.
Fine eating. Yes seasoning is a must. The Maryland and Virginia Chesapeake Bay area is the best way to season and eat crabs.

Heidi is one beautiful lady, I enjoy the fishing content, keep up the good work. :)
Can’t wait till you go hunting again love you guys
. im surprised how well the chicken did... the next time i would chunk up (pureed it) freeze it to bigger chunks of fish. you want pieces of the bait to float out to draw them to the trap.. thats why commercial crabbers use frozen shrimpheads..
I remember back in the day, here in Florida as a kid, I could pull that whole laundry basket full in just over an hour. With just cut up pin fish, a fishing rod, and a net. Good days. Can't do that anymore unfortunately.
Thank you guys! Love the content!
Hey guys the cardboard flats 6 packs of canned beer or sodas come in are great for eating shell fish out of or using them to put your empty shells and trash in while eating. Then toss them in the trash. They’re easy to store until needed.
I know that bridge in the video. Welcome to the area! I fish those creeks all the time. Hope you had fun.
10 to 12 minutes for blue crab
Love all of this content! Food tastes so good when you do the work to catch and cook!! And of course you look amazing in the bikinis doll! Looks like you're putting more on IG too (TikTok?) Keep it up and enjoy the Summer! :-)))))
10-12 minutes 20 at the most after you see the steam, let it rest for 15-20. Throw a couple chopped onions and corn on top at the start. Bonus!
