Matt always thinks he shouldn’t have said something or that he sounds a particular way and it’s heartbreaking because I know a part of that feeling comes from his treatment on Unfiltered. I love the support he gets here because I feel like Matt is so much like me, I appreciate and love everything he has to say or think. Not everything you say needs to matter, you can speak to speak. I can always relate so hard when Matt is overthinking anything, like I’ll start to go so in depth about it in my head that I change my mind or start thinking about how annoying I sound 😂 I could listen to him talk forever because SAME 😂 also love his self-awareness and apologetic nature is so endearing, even if it is unnecessary at times. I get what Matt was saying about Harry Styles. He will always have that popstar label attached to him and a lot of people will always view him as less cool, more contrived, and less artistic than someone like Matty Healy. Same reason why Taylor Swift will unfortunately always be viewed as more of a product and less of a songwriter than someone like Phoebe Bridgers.
honestly, for me my hatred of physical touch comes from being independent and single for so long. like I don’t mind some, but if it’s overdone I’m like 🙅🏼♀️ enough haha

I’m not sure it makes sense for those in couples to factor in what their partner already does for them. In the instance with erin saying tj already watches shows with her or whatever so she values the other thing more, consistently answering like that would skew the results to say your love language is just something you don’t get as much. I feel like that wouldn’t be the case, especially considering Erin and tj, who seems to have a great relationship and a great balance of feeling and expressing love to eachother!

The questions are too broad too. Like little gifts can mean someone thought about you while they were out and big gifts can mean they were planning it for a while. Giving someone something they need vs a want are different as well. Like a friend spending time and money on a big gift means the same to me as someone I don't see often picking something up that reminded them of me waiting for the next time we see eachother. My mom telling me she's proud of me means more than my partner who I would more often. Someone I know very well telling others how great I am means a lot more than someone I don't see often. The quiz needs to me more specific

I don't like the way the questions are either or because a lot of times I'm like.. BOTH.. lol I wish it was like a range.. like 1-5 for each individual one.
I am veryyyyy much an acts of service gal in the way I like to receive or be shown love. As for giving, I do tend to be big on gift giving which is something I rate very low in the way I like to receive love.
MATTT I am the same way with other people buying me gifts. I am quite a particular person and prefer to pick what I want and what someone will potentially be spending money on.

Not necessarily. I feel like because they’re in long term relationships, they have a totally different mindset when it comes to love than mike so that’s why they all mostly agree and mike doesn’t agree with them

There should should be a love language tests for different relationships. Like what people want from their friend is not the same as what they want from their partner. What you want from your friend may be consistent but what you want from your partner may change over time. The questions generalized "someone you love" but asks if your in a relationship. It's confusing
