I think you are right, but I listened to this clip twice - but Fred hits several downbeats later than Asaf, who isn’t particularly swinging, but he’s not late, I don’t think. I’ll listen to more of them to see if I see similar phenomena

Yes the drummer is no John Marshall, and since he joined the band has definitely lost its swing.
