Nice work felling those trees, Chris. I must do the same on a small patch of land since I need to clear it for a slab for a metal building. I don't have any equipment but have a guy who's going to cut a vast number of the loblolly pines. Thos dang lonlolly pines have a deep tap root that growns down like a carrot and has side roots that branch out at different levels beneath the surface. Not a typical top-rooted that I can break a few roots and topple over. I'm looking forward to getting the trees and their roots removed. Enjoyed watching the large trees topple over with the push of your boom arm. Man, it surely would be nice if I could have my pines topple that way. Anyways, enjoyed a full-watch. Never worked with those type of trees before, but letsdig18 has. He just pushes them over, which usually just snaps the trunks off and digs the stumps out after. Always looks like fun 😁 Good luck with your project and thank you for watching- I really appreciate it!!
I imagine that land you are clearing has been in production in the past. Farming in your area is at very least is a century earlier than my area. When settlers came from Europe this was Prairie. According to family history all they had to do was turn it, and plant. The top soil was thick, and the Bison hadn't allowed trees to grow. Thank Chris.

I am doing a similar project here at my place the last couple days , if I knew how rocky it was going to be I would have left it alone……or hired someone else like you to do it instead. Lol You are definitely right though about an acre or two being a big deal, always well worth doing in the end.

That thing will push over a pretty big tree! Always fun to get to play with a new toy.
