I. Want you to know how much I appreciated. Your thorough description of the method for using the quilters grid. I have done a large quilt and now am going back to it to see If I can save it in spite of dome of the construction errors that have been made. Also your source for the grid materials will be invaluable. Again- many thanks. Meryl Smith
How do you reduce bulk when sewing 1" unfinished squares? I have really hard time getting the seams to be exact when sewing the second round (the opposite side).
The Pelion grid is marked in 1 inch squares. T finish the layoout with 1 inch squares you need to start with 1 1/2 inch squares reduced to size with 1/4 inch seams. Exactly how do you place the 1 1/2 inch squares on the grid. this demo does not make sense t. Please respond.

That was terrific. I have a quilt that calls for the fusible paper. Totally excited about it after watching you.
Thanks Kim, I found this really helpful.

Hello if you trim the seams it assists with the bulk, please see Vlieseline UK Facebook Page Video on 13th OCTOBER 2021 For more information.

The fabric square is 2”, it is laid across two Pelion 1” squares. Once the quarter inch seams are sewn, each finished fabric square measures 1.5 “.
Sorry, it is not Pellon she is using, she is using Vlieseline. But it is the same process.
