Could you use that grid fabric for a full sized quilt? Will it shrink with cotton fabric that was pieced without prewashing the fabric? Love the simplicity and accuracy! 👍❣️

I first learned this piecing technique from Paula Doyle, who published Mini-Mosaic Quilts: 30+ Block Designs in 2012. Her blocks are complex and use several different types of block units. She has several UA-cam videos.
I’m going on 81. I would like to do this, but I had rather do larger squares because of time involved. 5 to 7 inch squares would make a quilt faster. Do you have that? At my age time is of the essence!!
Do you put batting besides the Fusible Grid in the sashes between blocks. I can't find a video on your channel about the batting ?
Could you use that grid fabric for a full sized quilt?

I just got the watermelon in the mail. I tried to watch the webinar about it in the Club portal, but the video quality on her end was so poor I gave up on it.
I ironed with the fusible side down once and got goop all over my ironing mat. Any suggestions for removing the goop from the cutting mat?
