Bought this guitar a few months ago. It’s my first fanned fret and I was able to adjust very quickly. All the features, components, playability, fit and finish were on point with no issues. While it may not be the the cheapest production guitar, you’re definitely getting the best Quality out of Korea. I have it tuned to drop F# with 10-80 strings.
Did that 80 gauge fit through no problem?
@@dima_saur nope lol had to bore out the tuner and file down the nut slot on the lowest string.
@@e_riffs why an 80 for a 7 string? you'll be onto an 8 string in no time
Probably says a lot about my playing (or my ears after decades of rock and metal) but I honestly cannot tell the difference between the Fishman voicings on my BC Rich! Could hear it with the demo here though...

I saw one in person today and now j really want it . I've played the cheaper models of 7 string jacksons and they're all incredible and a joy to play .
Wanted to add , this flake colourshift in person is 30x better than shown in any videos or pictures I've seen online so far . Hard to do justice , but an absolute stunner in person !

You do get a LOT of features.. The finish, the fishmans, the luminlays, the locking tuners. Its a beast of a guitar. I think this being more expensiVe than a dave davidson warrior is nuts tho.

Dayumn, I want one. I'll just black market off my kidney 1st, LOL. I have a X series SLAT7, and it's a great guitar, but this Pro series Dinky? A lot more diverse in tone than the X series with the EMG 808's. Far better colour also. Awesome review. Love watching your demo's of these finer weapons!
I’m not too into Jacksons and I haven’t played any that I’ve connected with but I’m very curious about this one.
Still love my red reign c7 and hellraiser c7, but all said and done that's sweeeeeeet🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

Yeah, the Ibanez RGD71ALMS is basically the same guitar except it’s 900 quid.. just get that.
@@kingoftherodeo87 I would love to compare the RGD to the DK and see how they stack up. Both have similar specs and I’d say the biggest difference would be the timber and bridge. Nyatoh vs basswood and Ibanez monorail vs the hipshot. Indonesian quality is also pretty good.
