I'm glad you upload the blank trips because they're still really interesting and as a long-term viewer it makes it more exciting when you have a video with great catches
Returning to sea fishing after a gap of 30 years, I have found your videos both informative and entertaining. It has re-ignited my passion for everything to do with the sea. Well done Graham. Keep them coming 👍
TA Fishing is a great channel to learn from for beginners like myself, I have already used a lot of your tips and tricks in the past 5 month of fishing. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us all it is very helpful, keep the vids coming. I also love a fire on the beach, its hypnotising 🙂👍🎣
Sir, thank you, Your love of fishing, solitude, being independent, and love of nature come thru every time! That's why I wait for each new vid. Big fish or smaller fish, for sport or for dinner, you love to fish. Sharing it with us! Thanks again!
No fish? Does not matter at all. As always nice filming and great tips for anglers of every skill level. As I can't fish myself at present, you are my eyes and ears for beach fishing and I just love the sound of the waves hitting the shingle. Your sense of humor makes me chuckle and I agree with you on the health and safety issues facing people growing up in today's world, where is the fun in being safe all the time?
@TA fishing, if your ever up north Wales, a beach called talacre us full of smoothies, I've had 8 of then upto 8 lb 2 weeks on squid, it's prolific for them. However, this year squid has been the better bait over peeler or crab which is strange, if your ever down this way I'll happily be your guide haha
just returned from a week away with the kids and gransons in Swanage took my middle boy beach fishing with a telescopic rod with bacon as bait. not expecting to catch anything but caught the tiniest flounder ever could have put three of them in my hand . My granson thoughtit was fantastic when we put it back and it swam away. Hopefuly this has got him hooked. Thanks for the great videos. 1
Another great video dude , the amount of walking back and fourth to the water you must be knackered after a session , I got tired just watching the distance you have to walk , fair play to you hope to see more great content soon hopefully some more catch and cook ups on the beach to come ?
I was going to report this for being..... well just because I can.. but you had a green bucket for your green crabs you tackle tart! I laughed at the green bucket carp fisher-persons! Brilliant! Not all about catching and loved the video. Well done.
When camped in the mountains...one learns not to use wet stones from the stream or lake for the fire ring...they explode sometimes violently...water trapped inside the stone turns to steam.. pressure builds and..kapow...one piece of that in the shins and you won't do that again...always use dry stones from the hillside instead
That is correct about streams on beaches being regarded as hotshots here in Ireland for bass but also flounders. Also correct about gasses in stones causing them the not only break but sometimes explode with heat. My cousin got lamped in the forehead with a big chunk of exploding rock from a ring of stones he built around a fire 😅🤣🤣
In alaska, the streams are a good place for salmon because it dilutes the sea wated and they circle thru it to prepare and get used to the fresh water for the spawning run..
Just the other week I had to make my own gear they didn't have any weights anywhere to be found. So I took different sizes of stainless steel nuts drilled a hole all the way through then add a plastic sleeve so the string could go through without being cut they made amazing slide sinkers.
The red crabs are velvet swimming crabs and yes they are very vicious little buggers ,but very good eating if you find the larger ones!!!there back 2legs are actually flippers or paddles if you look at them, there also called devil crabs as there eyes are bright red too, there covered in minute hairs like velvet hence the "velvet crab "part of it!!!! They give good blood blisters when they bite you too!!!👍🏻🙈🙈👍🏻😂😂🤘😎
Hi I love course fishing and I have watched tons of your videos. My partner and I watch these whilst having dinner. My local river is the river Great Ouse. Just one request if I may, can you recognise the women that fish. Not to be to PC everything I own is pink from tackle boxes to a selection of rods. I think your totally awesome and the first thing any fisher should learn is to swim!! 🐠🐟
I've caught a few baby bass and baby bream recently, but not a lot else. It's not a blank but I'm not sure it counts :-). Thanks for your vids Graham, good work as always!
Not beach fishing, but over here in upstate New York (USA), Johnny NoFish has come for a visit too. Going on almost 3 weeks of hardly anybody catching anything, be it stream, river, pond, lake or puddle! I wonder if the hurricane coming up our coast is the culprit. Still, a blank day of fishing beats working or doing honey-doos all day. See ya in the next one.
Yep I see the Hurricane coming,it usually kicks over the Atlantic and we get wet and windy weather. That's why I'm off river fishing tomorrow in case it floods..Stay safe over there.
Just bought some gear .I was wondering when you cast out and put the rod on the stand if you get a bit how do you stop the rod from being pulled in. How much do you un screw the top of the reel . cheers .
Been out twice this year from i got new fishing gear, Helen's bay in N.Ireland, lovely spot of the rocks. Caught two Pollock although to small to keep. I then ventured to a place called Bangor and fished in the harbor, got two mackerel in the freezer for some winter bait fishing. If the weather here would stop pissing it down i might get out just once more. N.I has got to be one of the most wettest countries {As Jeremy Clarkson would say} "In the world" I'll have to get some green crabs put away, i suppose you can freeze them also? So when you venturing over to N.Ireland? I got some {supposedly} great spots lined up.
Better luck next time, Graeme. The water had the look of fish. I'm having trouble getting a good tripod. What's yours and where did you get it? Best wishes.
General opinion is either an Ian Golds or a Shakespeare Salt are the best. Keep your eyes out on the local bargain sites like Gumtree - I picked up an immaculate Shakespeare Salt tripod a few weeks ago for £30. It will extend to approx 7ft so ideal for longer continental rods.
Nice video Graham 👍 🎣 . Pitty Mike wasn't there 😕. I've given up Good fishing spots to friends , everyone fishies diffently. You get the feedback ( info ) . There is always something new to learn 😉

Thanks for showing us the journey down the steps, I’ve wanted to know for ages what they’re like. Due to health issues, a lot of marks are inaccessible to me, but I’ve wanted to stay/fish there ever since I saw your first video at St. Audries Bay. Looks like I’ll be able to manage those steps after all 😁
TA Fishing Yeah, I’ll be ok with those steps, I’ll just stop and rest on the way up. I won’t take as much gear with me either. Thanks for the videos, this truly is the best fishing channel on UA-cam!! 😊
Only if I have to cast a long way or if I am fishing over rough ground.I think I showed in the film and also said I was hoping to cast on to the sand,so the crab has nowhere to hide under.
Hi Graeme, last week I caught a codling of good size. When I gutted it and looked inside the stomach, I found a hardback crab, not a big one. So, that means codling will take hardback, but smaller sized ones.
Use that driftwood to make a huge catapult using old braces, no need to cast at all. Just fire all your terminal tackle out in extra strong pva bags. 😉👍 Joking aside I can see drones used in the future, tackle dropped precisely where you want it from GPS coordinates. 🙄
