I've been looking for the visor for the tft that the adventure brings and I can't find it Now I see that you have one installed. Could you tell me where I can find that part of the top of the tft? Thank you
I found an Airhawk Dual Sport inflatable seat cover, with minimal air in it, transformed my CRF1100. I’ve got the low seat + Airhawk and now it’s an all day comfy bike.
You NEED: 1. A proper skid plate 2. Crash bars such as Outback Motortek 3. Barkbusters or SW Motech Kobras 4. Proper tires for offroading Sliders on an adventure bike?!
@@sunnyvalejedi good point, just need to save the money for upper protectors, still waiting forty engine bars to hit the dealer got delayed due to Covid Lockdown
Lovely bike, well put together video. I like the out door bike cover. What brand & where did you get it? Any useful tips from your experience please on it please. Thank you.
Thanks very much, they really are great bikes! The cover is so good, much better than a throw over as it doesn't touch the bike which is great in todays icy/snowy weather! The cover does degrade out in the sun and needs to be replace about every 3 years but the frame is still original. buy mine from a company called Feel Good UK
yeah I know the feeling ive been through a few myself but this one works great. www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07TTRL9KP/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_T7R3R7KKDMHYSVR21QHE?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
@@zippysworld - Is the tinted windscreen listed under the CRF1100 accessories, or the older CRF1000 accessories? I only see an optional tall clear windscreen listed under CRF1100 accessories on the Honda Powersports website...
Yes I do indeed they are the Kriega mounting straps that allow you to mount the Dry bags easily and quickly to the rear. I use them every day on my commute. no faff and secure!
zippysworld thanks, I just received my CRF1100 and the first thing I did was remove the back seat to look at the potential for straps. I can only think to piggy back of the bolts used for pillian strap. Where did you find the space to connect all 4 straps.
@@CadeMonster Your going to love the bike Graham its simply stunning! When you take the rear seat off you will notice some frame at the front and back of the space. I shortened the straps and attached on each of the corners. Much easier than the CRF1000 Model. Hope this helps
This is the more off road version of the AT so has a short screen. I personally prefer it over the longer screen as I found long screen just caused so much buffeting. Who doesn't like feeling the breeze on their face?? lol As for the seat i'm working on the theory that after ive squashed the life out of it a bit with my butt 2 things will happen 1. it'll be a fair bit softer or 2. there will be some choice of aftermarket seats available for this new 2020 model. Thanks for watching and ride safe
I fitted the high seat to my 1100 Adv sports. It’s thicker and softer for long trips. You can buy the Honda branded ones from rugged roads. One of the best upgrades for the bike. They scooped the seat out of the new model to make it lower but due to that it has less padding.
@@theonlyredspecial Yeah I bet the higher one is so much comfier unfortunately I have the legs of one of snow whites dwarfs so its a no go for me. enjoy your bike

Hi Miguel the visor is OE on the 1100 as standard Im afraid, no reason why you couldn't order one from Honda as a spare part though.
@@zippysworld all the reason
I thought before in a strange web, than to look for the spare part of the adventure sports in honda, tnhks and gas ;)

thats good to know, im currently considering a pair of Moto-skiviees for those long rides.
Good video. Just subscribed to your channel. I just picked up a ATAS the other week. Plenty of vids to come
Nice, gave me a few ideas for my own bike. Audio turned out much better in this one too ;)
Glad it helped...sorry to your bank balance though, lol. Thanks for noticing the audio Ill get it spot on soon...I promise
i don't see a crashbar, for me the most important mod.
great comment and you'll be please to hear that I now have engine crash bars!
You NEED:
1. A proper skid plate
2. Crash bars such as Outback Motortek
3. Barkbusters or SW Motech Kobras
4. Proper tires for offroading
Sliders on an adventure bike?!
nice suggestions, gotta do the sliders as its my daily commute to work too!
@@zippysworld That's what the crash bars are for 😉

I can’t seem to find a tinted windscreen like that available for the 2020 CRF1100. Where did you get yours? Brand? It looks perfect. Thanks!
sorry for the late reply, this is the genuine Honda item. you can get from your Honda Dealer or Rugged Roads do them too.

Any new additions to your bike. Crashbars? The rear passenger handle rack is crazy expensive OEM.

got mine from Amazon, got a few ranges on there mine was the automor
Great video cheers
Some good for thought there for mine
No windshield. That's going to get tiring on long trips. I also notice no seat upgrade, another indication you don't do long trips.
