I've ordered a ZST Excite about 3 weeks ago and hopefully will be taking delivery in June. I've saved all your tutorials and can't wait to drive my new car. BTW, it comes with a 7 year manufacture’s warranty in Australia, with a similar 7 roadside assistance, if vehicle is serviced by a MG dealer.

Awesome video learnt more from your video than the sales staff in Hamilton. We have purchased both the Base model ZS and ZST Essence and happy with both.One quick question with the ZST should the drl's come on when the car starts up in sunny weather or the head lights in "auto mode" as our one the head lights always turn on no matter how bright it is outside is this a fault or issue ?? cheers tony
Hi Tony, DRL is on the white line on the top half of the head light. It stays on when the vehicle is on. If the main bulb underneath the drl is on all the time, it means the auto light function isn't working.
@@JerryPanandCars thank you for your reply , from day 1 our zst has had "full" lights on while driving during the day "on auto mode" the only way i have had drl's running is if i manually turn headlights off car is only two weeks old. many thanks.
@@tonyharlotte4839 lately there is a software error on quite some ZSTs. It resulted the faulty auto light sensor. Your auto wipers won't work automatically either. Just register your problem at the local dealer. MG NZ should get this sorted in the near future.

Does the SILF setting have to be activated every time I start the car? I turn mine on but it’s turned off every time the car is started. It’s annoying 😢

Hi, We have only had this model in NZ since last year. Our workshop never had any major issues with the ZST Essence so far. I have had so many happy customers and still counting. fuel efficiency is around 7L/100km.
I can't use anything on the navigation panel once I'm talking on the phone using Bluetooth. Is this normal? Even the map navigation turns off once a phone call is answered.
Hi Jerry. Can you let us know how to manually start the car? Example- if a car hits u from behind, the MG automatically senses danger and stops. It then says to switch on, use manual start. How do we do this?

Hi, thanks for your subscription! The vehicle does NOT have inbuilt voice control unfortunately. Once your Apple Carplay or Android Auto is connected, you can then use the voice control button on the steering to activate Sri or Google Assistance via mobile devices. Hope that helps :)
Please make a video tips on how to maintain that always clean the car without car wash,. Is that okay if wet cloth just wipe it down to clean the dust and bird shit. Tips on how and what to use for window cleaning. Cloth?

Sorry, I'm not entirely sure if it can. you may have to put the seats down. The best is to have a look at the actual vehicle at your nearest dealership.

Unfortunately it is not possible as far as I know.
Several in the MG ZST owners group on Facebook have said you have to reach out to your dealer for that.

If you turn the lane assist on, it will automatically bounce to the assistance screen.

How to make road sign permanent on digital screen.
Not possible as it is default to be off.

just press start button without your foot on the brake. it will drain the 12v battery so not recommended to use for long.

I have never been in that situation before. Try using the key fob to push the start button?

No official rating yet but the pre facelift lower trim has 4 star. The ZST has way more safety features so it could be a 5 star

Cruise control is far away from steering wheel is just disgusting
It actually sits parallel to the indicator switch. If you can reach the indicator, you can reach the cruise control :D
