Great features! Additional tips that might be helpful
1. When changing lanes, you can slightly toggle your direction indicator (either right or left) and your signal indicator will flash 3x and will automatically turn off, no need to return the toggle to original position
2. Always struggling to find where you parked your car? Press the lock button on your keyfob and your car will alarm. 😅

I did know MG ZST (Astor in India) has the traffic jam assist function. I will have to check on my car tomorrow if mine also has it.

Very nice! I can imagine owning a car like this for 2 years and not discovering all these features! I’m thinking of getting this car and now even more so! @@JerryPanandCars When I checked some website it has been told that this USB is just give about 5V/1A. which seems a problem because most of dashcams use more than 1A. Do you have any experience for it? or any dash cam that worked with that USB?

When hanging up on a phone call I found that a single tap on the steering wheel control does the trick. No need to double tap?
Interesting. I tried on quite a few cars. Every time I had to double tap to hang up. Although owners manual says press and hold.

Thanks for your comment. I'm not dashcam expert unfortunately. I'm sure there are tons of dashcam reviews on UA-cam that will be way more helpful than myself :D. Anything that has USB connection will be an easy fit.

Yes, it works for HS too.
ZST users, try this:
If you want to turn on the AC, Lift UP the Fan Switch. That's how I turn my AC ON.
Also, IF you have the Key Fob in your pocket and want to open the Boot, JUST open the boot (it will automatically unlock after around 3 seconds)
I have 2022 ZST Essence. Re your #5 tip: what is the difference between Adaptive Volume and SDV (speed dependent volume) which are both options on the same screen? (unlike what some other user commented to this video - these are NOT explained in the manual). Cheers and great channel btw.
These two settings are the same thing. I believe the MG ZST only has the adaptive volume in the setting.
Hello again. In the begining it works,then I connect Phone to check how it works,after that there is problem with auto colour change. I have also try with reseting system few Times, same. Br

Hello friend, I am writing from Turkey. I am the owner of mg zs 1.0 luxury plus. I would be very happy if you share a video about the engineering mode.
Those short key buttons aren’t lined up properly is it a design flaw? Or are they loose and cheaply put together they could break or snap off ?
They are lined up properly in actual vehicles. I have never had a complain before. Maybe just the wide view camera thing?
Hey Jerry, my zst core sometimes randomly makes 5 short beeping noises when I'm in the house. The door is locked and the keys are inside the house as well. Do you know why it does this?
Not sure. Need to be checked with dealer.
The mirrors on my ZST don't fold automatically when I lock the car. I wonder if there is a setting to get them to do that?
Maybe an issue. Check with you local dealer for fixing.
Hi i have this very car and today i was reverse parking and knocked a roof it was really low and the thing on the top went off ..first of all what is it called and what is its use? Is it like network for radios? And must i repair it or its not necessary
Please take it to the dealer or panel shop to check.

It needs a system update. Contact your dealer for the update.
Hi, I am MG ZST owner in the Philippines I experiencing disconnection in carplay even though I use the original lighting cable from apple as per dealer recommendation? How can I fix that?

Nope
I’ve been wanting to get a dash cam to make use of that USB port but I have read that it wouldn’t work as a dash cam requires 12V to work and a USB cannot supply that. Is this true? And is there something I’m missing?
Nah, the dash cam will provide a 12v adapter but you can ignore the adapter and just plug into the USB.
@@JerryPanandCars I hope that’s the case because I’m anxious about buying one because of it haha. Some people have been saying that the USB only provides 5V and that’s causing the dash cam to only work for a few minutes before it turns itself off
I have a ZST 2021, cant change the time, its greyed out. Any ideas?

The ZS Excite, ZST core or vibe don't have temperature display unfortunately.
What about if in parking window glass mistakenly remain open
Switch it on and close the window.
Does the usb point on rear view mirror have enough power for dashcam?
Not for every single one but a lot of them do support usb power.

Hello Jerry! I am from Slovenia-Eu. I have the same MG ZS, but 1.0 automatic. I have problem with NAV view, I mean colour. Set up on auto,but don't work, always show night colour!? Do you have any idea? Best regards Miran
Pozdrav iz Srbije. If the headlights are on, night mode will always be on. In my car the sensor for the automatic lights broke, so the dashboard is also in night mode.

It is ZST essence in black
When i turn my zsr off, the motor keeps running, does this mean that its just cooling down.
It’s something like a turbo timer I suspect. Search this term on Google and you can find out why.
Do you guys have rattles? Mine is new just over 10K km but I have the rattles and sound coming from A pillar and window rattling ...very annoying...service centre is not at all helpful
But how does the external temperature fit?
Software update from MG dealer will get this feature enabled.

Which spec? Core & Vibe don't have that feature.
To hang up I only need to press it once.
Yep, I found it on certain vehicles. But you will need to double press or press hold to cancel an incoming call.
What about rear seats light? 😅

Hey, you can update the navigation online but it is not guaranteed to have NZ / AU newest map. Best to use Carplay system. mgtouch.naviextras.com/shop/portal/p2howto-guide?guide=Toolbox&topic=FirstSteps
my boot automatically unlock if my key is just 1 meter away, no need to press anything
There is sensor on the boot release handle.
My MG ZST dont have MG Pilot
NZ or AU? Surely it has it. Other regions? Check with your dealer

A huge amount of customers we sold cars to don't really read the manuals. Just thought this would be helpful at least :D
The manual is a slog. I watch Jerry so I don't have to read that whole huge book. Not many people read an entire manual 😂

Make sure the light switch is on Auto. If it doesn't work, you will have to visit the workshop.
