Brodsky is effortlessly one of the best frontmen of all time. Just pure talent and charisma. I won't settle for anything less than him getting into the Hall of Fame.
Bleeder is a great album but Helium Head is just an insanely raw and amazing little EP, probably the best debut offering I´ve ever heard from a new band.
CrazyMaryT I've seen them three times in the last two years. That's how I became a fan of theirs. Just an amazing show, and their camaraderie is awesome.
It's like a sludgy mastodon, but better with kick ass lyrics, and killer vocals. I can't believe I'm just finding this. Found the song on Spotify. And I'm hooked. Listened to the song eight times in a row. I'm just mad I didn't come up with it first. The stale chords in the song are pure genius. It's perfectly written. I gotta see these guys live.
Must be laundry day and he had to wear the shirt with sleeves. And these guys are great. Great sound. Great live. And funny guys. And the drummer is a monster.
That's a game my bro and I used to play. Only 2 rules. No buckle shots, and no head/balls hits. We had to wear long sleeve shirts to keep people from thinking we were abused.
It blows all of my minds that Mutoid Man doesn't get more views. Perfect blend of so many simple things to become that new step in Fuzz Metal/Whatever metal.
Been listening to this band for a better part of a year or more...this tune straight UP knocks it OUT OF THE PARK!! It is SO well written!! Looking very forward to their new release in July!!😀
Sargent House, steady doing shit right. I am already enthralled with Russian Circles and Emma Rundle. We can now add these cats to the list. Fucking dope.
Id stop everything im doing, and do everything up to, and including quit my job, to see either Mutoid Man, Converge, Cave-In, and Old Man Gloom play Vancouver BC!!!
I have been listening to these guys nonstop for days. I NEVER do that. Everything else is weak in comparison. Red Fang and Doyle(!?) come close. But Mutoid Man rules the universe. If those 3 bands toured together, they would annihilate. They could alternate who headlines.
Really wish I could find tabs for this fuckin' song. Been working on it slowly by ear but it'd be a fuck of a lot easier with some sort of reference point.

Stephen Brodsky walked right by me at Saint Vitus. He was like 1 foot away from me, and...I froze right up. Couldn't even get out a hello
Metrics and all that jazz. These fellows deserve all the love they are getting and so much more.
this is the first Mutoid Man song I've ever heard, looks like you gentlemen have a new fan
Go see them live, your brain will melt!
Bleeder is a great album but Helium Head is just an insanely raw and amazing little EP, probably the best debut offering I´ve ever heard from a new band.
another two album is also worth checking out bro!
InfiniteDominance agreed
welcome. this band hasn't put out a bad song let alone record.
Immense heaviness with the added bonus of Brodsky's pop sensibilities. What a great combination.
Holy hell are they ever. I'm a long time Converge, recent Cave In fan, and this is the first song I've heard from Mutoid Man... I was floored lol.
That bass sound is apocalyptic. Awesome.
It makes me wanna be a better man
@@noahsmith9025That's so wholesome, I wish upon you this bass sound whenever you need to make an important decision.
Late to the game. These guys rock!!! I’m going down a rabbit hole with this band. Excellent musicians.
same boat as you chief, these guys are absolutely fantastic
Love em!!! Just wish they had more songs like this.. doom'y ripping. Most of their "sound" is more 80s shred metal
See these guys live. They will blow you away. Their energy is off the cuff.
CrazyMaryT I've seen them three times in the last two years. That's how I became a fan of theirs. Just an amazing show, and their camaraderie is awesome.
It's such a fun show with great music. I've only seen them twice but I hope they will be coming round my way again with the new albumb
Saw these live in leeds with mastodon and kverltac fucking good show
@@conrok6661 saw the same show but in Glasgow. Can confirm the show was fucking incredible.

Ocean Sage KenMode is pretty dope

Love the Cave-In vibes
1:42 good god that stop back into the main riff is soooooo heavy.
I think, the thing Mutoid Man really have to do is a "Cream - Sunshine Of Your Love" cover... Fuck, you are great!!!
HO MY FUCKIN GOD! That would be the best cover ever! U're so right
I love this band so much.
Must be laundry day and he had to wear the shirt with sleeves.
And these guys are great. Great sound. Great live. And funny guys. And the drummer is a monster.
Holy mother of blindside! These dudes jam harder than jelly!
Same here. Love it and now love them. Cave In's new album sent me here.🤘😫🤘
Just started listening to these guys recently. Heard a song of theirs in my Red Fang spotify radio, followed the band on the spot. No regrets
I get goosebumps when I hear these guys, one of my favorites.
Saw them live in Tilburg opening for Mastodon. They kicked ass. Well boys you got a new fan.
One of the best Mathcore bands out there.
Two minutes to Late night brought me here. Shoulda been here truthfully.
Same for me. Just now though. This shit slams
Ben Koller is one of my all time favorite drummers, and seeing him have so much fun here is like cat lovers watching silly cat vids
Ditto
Everything, absolutely everything is awesome in this band.
That belt hit was brutal - and his response was priceless.
That but with the belt whip to justify that scream is amazing
Thats it! Brodsky is back!
The drummer is a beast
That belt smack at 2:50 ... holy hell!
That's a game my bro and I used to play. Only 2 rules. No buckle shots, and no head/balls hits. We had to wear long sleeve shirts to keep people from thinking we were abused.
@@Francis-rs7zu Damn hahahahahahahahhah
I only started listening to these guys last week....oh wow what have i been missing!! this song is UNREAL!!
Hear lots of Voïvod here, and thats a good thing!
Nice comparison indeed.
The bass reminds me of Pelican
if any of you haven't seen these guys live, you need to get your goddamn priorities straight, cuz you're missing out on a damn fun show
Listened to the full album a couple days ago, and it fuckin' rocks. I don't even know what type of metal this is but I love it.
Another added to the list of underrated bands
Just listened to this and instantly bought my ticket for your upcoming show in Madrid. I needed this shit. AMAZING!!!!
First heard of these guys a week ago...can't stop listening to them now. Real music....damn!!!
what a great song. I need this band in my life
hell yeah
Sounds so heavy.
It blows all of my minds that Mutoid Man doesn't get more views. Perfect blend of so many simple things to become that new step in Fuzz Metal/Whatever metal.
Dope
Sargent House wins again.
Lmao the scream after the belt attack made it onto the record. This band rules.
Incredible....love this tune
So happy I ran into these guys. Can't get enough of them!
WHOO ARE THESE GUYS ?
DAAAMN BOI
Converge/Cave In mashup.
That was incredible. This song just made me a new fan.
damn this song fucking slays
It's as if Cave In continues to exist through Mr. Brodsky. What a band, what a song!
Just came across this killer 3 piece? Alot of sound like coroner! I'm a fan from now on!
HOLY SHIT THAT RIFF! Insta Fav!
Sounds Mastodon-ish
Msgr. Øystein Nidal Gein I got an instant Red Fang vibe as well. Killer tune from a killer band \m/
I saw them live a few nights ago in New Hampshire and now I'm hooked. I absolutely love their energy
Seems like Koller is bringing more and more Converge sound to the band and that's not an issue!
Both Steve and Ben played in Converge
Been listening to this band for a better part of a year or more...this tune straight UP knocks it OUT OF THE PARK!! It is SO well written!! Looking very forward to their new release in July!!😀
I only discovered them a few days ago and I'm hooked! 🤘

the music is so heavy and voice is just the perfect fit !! Love this band.
Can’t wait to see these guys in the future. Best trio on the planet right now.
So damn good. Please play Houston in 2024. And please play Kiss of Death and please play Memory Hole. Pretty please.
Sargent House, steady doing shit right.

I've seen 2/4 of these since my original post. Cave In, and Converge. How time flies
Just saw these guys yesterday. They fucking rocked it, made fun of Greta Van Fleet, Played with Baroness' guitar player and ruled in general.
As a michigan native this makes me happy. Greta sucks lol
Greta is brutal, they played with Gina?
One Hell of a Rock n Roll outfit!!
Solid
I hope they only make videos like this in the future, so we can see how much they enjoy playing together.
Seen them on friday supporting mastodon and i fkn loved them, got the crowd going. Some power for a 3 piece.
First time ever hearing this band. Super kick ass!!!!!!! Hell fucking yes!!!
I really like this group.
Excellent!!!
I think I just witnessed the best fuckin song I've ever heard and I'm 42! Fuck this band is phenomenal

Awesome
Kick ass tune
I am in.......I am right in!
I saw them open for Danzig. I'd never heard of them prior. They were amazing live.
Where/when?
haha that slap in the back with the belt😂
They took turns whipping each other with a belt before a show I saw them at a during their bleeder tour. Their energy was off the hook.
Great
I'm pretty sure this is Thomas Middleditch's secret life
That’s fucking hilarious!
I was looking for this comment :)
This comment make me want to rewatch silicon valley
I want to have all those cool guitars!!!
The guitar and the bass are on B flat. Rad.
Fucking incredible song. Such a banger
Mutoid man... Just keeps killing it
Doesn't the singer look like the Dr. Pepper guy from the old commercials? You know, the guy who was in "American Werewolf in London?"
this is so good
