I mean think about it, if he survived that mission by the skin of his teeth he is gonna need a new name, and Roach is a pretty fitting name for that, and Graves looked up to Ghost, so imagine the confrontation in MWIII where Ghost and Roach fights each other in a one versus one, it would be pretty damn tragic since OG Ghost and Roach were implied to be close or just comrades at arms, so yeah I don't think we have seen the last of him, I didn't see no corpse, and golden rule is that if there isn't, good chance they are still alive.

Graves isn't actually dead, because even if the tank wasn't drone controlled, he would've waited for 141 to leave and presume him dead before crawling out the escape hatch that all tanks have at the bottom. the latter case would likely mean graves would return with some burn scars and/or disfigurements. he'd cover his face with some kind of mask (possibly a respirator setup if his lungs were damaged) and be like an anti-ghost character. similar to Darth Vader and cobra commander.
But the tank exploded It’s turret popped off which means the ammo detonated and the pressure was great enough to pop the turret off Meaning anyone inside would be turned to jelly
@@cowerdnerddespacito9518 that just means that the tank was more likely to be a drone, in which case he was in an underground bunker with the rest of Shadow company seeing what 141 was and wasn't capable of. again, even if it wasn't, dude saw the explosion coming and popped the escape hatch at the last second, sustaining a combination of shrapnel wounds and 3rd degree burns while still barely surviving enough to eventually don his breathing mask when Shepard picks him up and revives him. I like how the changes the things we hated about the og with ghost going for his rifle on extreme close quarters whereas now he just kills everyone with his knife
The reason I think Graves is not dead, simply put, is that during the dialogue when ever c4 explodes on the tank. Graves monologue isn't interrupted at all. So far in most COD games when a Antagonist is doing their dialogue injuring them that stops the dialogue. Small detail but Important distinguishment.
I love how Graves name in the subtitle change color from blue to red when he said General Shepherd sends his regards indicating they just turn to enemy.
I feel like graves wasn't even in the tank the entire time, his dialog doesnt revolve around being in it and he doesn't react to the hull being blown apart by the c4, and he says his options were "flee or win", and he doesn't reveal which one he chose
Graves cares about his men with they were ambushed by the Russians and Shepherd told him to screw them. That alone makes me think Graves choose the wrong side to work with. Graves could’ve help the 141 take him down.

Graves id definitely my favourite antagonist from this game. They made him go from likeable to hateable in just one mission. Kinda makes me sad because right before that, he and Soap did a wholesome bro handshake after defusing the missile

But the tank exploded
It’s turret popped off which means the ammo detonated and the pressure was great enough to pop the turret off
Meaning anyone inside would be turned to jelly
@@cowerdnerddespacito9518 that just means that the tank was more likely to be a drone, in which case he was in an underground bunker with the rest of Shadow company seeing what 141 was and wasn't capable of. again, even if it wasn't, dude saw the explosion coming and popped the escape hatch at the last second, sustaining a combination of shrapnel wounds and 3rd degree burns while still barely surviving enough to eventually don his breathing mask when Shepard picks him up and revives him. COD version of the Darth Vader story arc, possibly even with him killing Shepard in the end. no body = still alive
Lol most tanks don’t have escape hatches in the bottom 😂
Remember, James Reece killed Grave before in The Terminal List
Graves sounds like the spoiled rich kid at school who drove a squatted f150 with his instagram on the back glass.
Rafe Adler: You there, Sam? That was a big mistake, brother. It did not have to be like this.
Rafe Adler: Sonovabitch... Find 'em!
I like how the changes the things we hated about the og with ghost going for his rifle on extreme close quarters whereas now he just kills everyone with his knife
I KNEW HE WASN'T IN THE TANK! CALLED IT!
This reminds me of the mission from desert storm 2 when you have to take down mutiple tanks
Omg I loved that game
Seasons later:
‘Well, I wasn’t in that tank.’
I trusted Graves so much
Well he is a PMC hired by Shepherd, he doing things what he's paid to do
@@waitholdonwhat28 yes sadly...
You can't trust anyone who not 141 lol
You must not have played the original MW2. Shadow company is nothing but Sheppards puppet group. And Sheppard is a CoD antagonist.
@@preyforcougars3601 I did play the original but thought this time things might be differrent
His death was anticlimactic… didn’t even feel like we killed him. We only blew up a tank.
Probably cause we didn’t he might show up in a later battle pass
Exactly what I was thinking I was like oh is that it? 😐
@@elblu_ I thought that too, but that stuff is getting old. I miss when COD wasn’t like that.
@@Burnout121EA Yeah it was terrible. Felt like a scene from a 2003-2005 game.
@@putinsneighbor8351 Ironically, a cod from 2003-2005 is better
Soap : "How's Price?"
Ghost : "Angry."
😂🤣
I love how Graves name in the subtitle change color from blue to red when he said General Shepherd sends his regards indicating they just turn to enemy.
Graves was a savage! I would have done all of what he said in less than a week 😂😂😂😂
I feel like graves wasn't even in the tank the entire time, his dialog doesnt revolve around being in it and he doesn't react to the hull being blown apart by the c4, and he says his options were "flee or win", and he doesn't reveal which one he chose
He said guess which one I chose.
@@deathtrooper2048 Yes so he could've meant he already left
Graves cares about his men with they were ambushed by the Russians and Shepherd told him to screw them. That alone makes me think Graves choose the wrong side to work with. Graves could’ve help the 141 take him down.
Bro when I saw the blue text turn red when I was playing my hart droped
What I found interesting was where soap got shot was the same place where Shepherd stabbed him.
“I don’t make threats i make guarantees “
price
>gets shot down by a rpg
>nearly fucking dies in a helicopter
>copes about a cigar
rest in piece cigar 2022 - 2022
You see that shot Alejandro made at 2:41? What a trick shot shooting the ground like that and nailing the dude.
Phillip Graves was the best character every. Why’d they have him betray us???
Gaz: what’s the code?
Alejandro: 627
Gaz: wait... you know what never mind
In case u didn’t get the joke 627 is captain prices inmate number from mw ll 2009 when u rescue him from the gulag
This level has more building destruction than BF2042 multiplayer
Graves id definitely my favourite antagonist from this game. They made him go from likeable to hateable in just one mission. Kinda makes me sad because right before that, he and Soap did a wholesome bro handshake after defusing the missile
"Death Of Graves"
That didn't age well.
Amazing video i love bro!^^😂😁🤣😁🤣😁
Graves was just an ambitious charismatic tool that shepherd used. In this timeline he cuda been a part of TF141.
Think about it. Shepherd was trying to cover this up the whole time and was thinking enough shadow company cud take out ghost soap and alejandro.hold the hq down and kill everyone else who knew about this. Award Grace's the HQ and keep it going.
watching u try to blow the tank up almost gave me cancer
just a hint for other people playing this mission. I played it on hard mode so i had to get creative. You can predict the tanks movements and just put the c4 on the road and get to cover so that bastard can't shoot you while you blow him up
You saw the dead man's grave, but you did NOT see the dead man Graves. He'll be back.
Graves dont know how many wars Soap and Ghost have already gone through
I thought this was an edit, nope it was not :) good, very good, also just like inkslasher said (I'm gonna copy so many comments right here) if you don't see them get killed, bleed and see their soul leave their body, they ain't dead
"Right Then. This Is For The Boys At Task Force 141."
- Soap
14:33
Only one sentence can tell what betrayal is in cod. "When blue turns red you want them dead"
Graves seemed like a good guy, shame the type of person Shepherd was tho
5:20 Alejandro came so close to getting blasted lmaooo the “TEXAS” “STAR” was so real in that moment!
Imagine if Soap said during the boss fight.
*"You know if you just said what shit stain you forgotten to clean up then we wouldn't be in this mess!"*
I really wish they made a cut scene of Graves crawling out then you execute him. Just the tank blowing up was kinda anti climactic for the betrayal he did
No one cares
Now we know from modern warfare 3 that graves wasn’t in that tank.
Shit hits the fan when the name tag turns red.
