Good point! People are not aware that the EQA/EQB 250+ uses a different battery and a to efficiency optimized E Motor (PSM) compaired to the standard EQA/EQB 250-350 From technical point of view quite interessting!
The more efficient PSM motor is standard in all 250 models (+ and non-plus) since Summer 2022. Only the battery is different in the Plus-Models. This explains why the secondly tested EQA 250 from Björn was way more efficient then the old one with ASM motor.

The reason why EQB 300 4matic often are seen as taxies? B.O.Steen has set the price at 499,9k Nkr. ...meening cars from inland port/storage with spesific specs. 500K is the top price where no VAT is added.
For TAXIs it is a little bit special: At least in Germany there are some regulations about Taxis, that there needs to be dedicated sensors for the Tax-O-Meter. These are very expensive to add to a not prepared vehicle, so that some car manufacturer will sell "TAXI-Approved" packages with all needed tech inside. But there are only a few brands having these packages. That's at least in Germany the reason, why not every vehicle can be a Taxi.
Intax GmbH does this a for ton of different cars and is typically not more expensive than the manufacturers (before they arrive with their fleet dumping prices, esp. for EVs).
The EQB is one of few ev's with proper payload, it can legally take more kg's than the buzz, tesla, giant chinese ev's ... for families that need to bring lots of stuff on vacations its a gem.

Yes and not even matrix lights or trailer hitch available at that time. Most annoying thing is the yearly service. That was the no go for me as this is a complete ripp off.

Taxi drivers choose Mercedes by a reason. They are durable, dont break easy and you can count on them. Quality is also far better than any other competitor. They say, if you really want to see what's mercedes is all about. Then test drive a 20 year old mercedes over 500.000 km and counting.
Mercedes eqb vs model y or Korean brands: maybe it's warranty and service? Such things are important to taxi drivers. Maybe talk a bit about warranty if you can. I see comments regarding bad build quality, service, or warranty in your comment sections from time to time. I drive e-soul. The build quality is not too good, but the warranty is great for me. 7 years.
It's just an impression. If you want to know the exact charging curve then you will have to wait for a video of that, or watch the 1000 km challenge once it is released.

This is beutiful car ! Unfortunately it suffers from the subaru syndrome -backseat space inside is as useless as a early forrester and 1generation glc mb! I am 197 cm tall and can n o t sit behind myself 🥹 car needs 34 cm more middle and width 20 cm! And low price🤪
A poor mans Benz is a Benz which you get in real life, a press car is nether anything poor. Just had a rental in Sweden, eVito (100kWh 9 seater) with halogen head lights and no navigation, nothing shiny there that is the reality with german branded cars, just shiny when its a press car.

Unfortunately, model Y is still not available as 7-seater in Europe. This is in my view the advantage of the EQB.

I drive a EQA 250+ and I am very happy with consumption and range. The EQB 250+ will have similar results and will perform way better.
