I love seeing you get choked up. I’ve switched around a little on different pieces of curriculum for different subjects, but TGTB always has heart. There’s a love there and a gratitude for providing such a good curriculum. I just had tears as I’m typing. 😅😂 So, I understand how you feel!
We did the Level 3 this year and I wanted it to work really well with my son but near the end of it he struggled so I just stopped teaching it and had him doing reading on his own until school ended. Hopefully this new level 3 works better for him and I've already looked at the printable version and it looks good.
I use mostly the Good and the Beautiful curriculum because of YOU, and I'm so very thankful that I do! Overall, we enjoy the curriculum and it's just unlike any other curriculum I've seen or tried to use. It's above and beyond, in my opinion, at a price we can afford. Thanks for this update!
This course looks so good!! We just completed the 3rd edition, and I know my son would had loved this layout even more, but we are trucking on to level 4! :) Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
The answer key is not included. I got excited thinking they forgot to put it in my order but alas, it’s just a recommended resource. Lol just fyi mamas ❤
This course is looks so beautiful!!!! My daughter is going to love this level. We are finishing up level 2 and it was amazing. I am just like you I have had the chance to use the older versions just as well as these newly revised edtions and I can see the change in them. I love TG&TB and can''t wait to place an order.
My daughter just finished the old level 3 this year, and I soooo wish this was out when she did it last year. It looks a lot better than the old level.
The Kingdom of Kind is one of my favorite stories, and now that it is in book form it has been expanded and is even better! All four of the books are such amazing stories to read, even my 8th and 9th grade kiddos are reading them and love them. They just skip over the Phonics Principles part and then read the books on their own, as opposed to alternating with me for the parent sections. Highly recommend them!
Would you say that the spelling book would be useful as a supplement for a struggling speller or is it incorporated into the course in a way you can't use it separately? I was trying to look through the PDF and wasn't totally sure.
I'm so in love with the good and the beautiful. It has really been such a blessing. I am fairly new to homeschooling and it's been a struggle but once I found the good and the beautiful, it has relieved so much of my stress! My 3 rd grader was so behind on reading and it's been a struggle trying to catch him up to reading on his level. Ever since using the good and the beautiful I've seen such a change. ❤️ He's enjoying reading more and more now. 🙌🏽
We are moving into level 3 with my youngest, this year. From what you've seen flipping through the revised version, do you feel it would be beneficial to purchase the spelling booklet to use in addition to the last revised level 3? I'm hoping this makes sense. 😅
My worry is that the new level 3 is less advanced than the previous version (like the new kindergarten vs old). My son is breezing through the old level 2. Do you have any words of wisdom on that? Thanks ❤️
I'd like to know this too. I had to supplement with Rod and Staff to challenge my kid. I may just bump up a level after picking out what he doesn't know from level 3. TGTB said this would be OK when I emailed them telling them his test scores.
This is also my worry! We used the old version of kindergarten LA last year and I’m worried about level one new being challenging enough. I figured we would just try to sail through any lessons that might be easy, finish early, and move on to level two if needed!

I’ve used the old level three twice now, and this new one looks so great! Excited to use it with my youngest this year 😊

Always appreciate your thoughts! So grateful that my son gets to use this new version this year. Just in time!

We are almost done with the current layout and will finish. I did order the new spelling book and additional books that they added though.
Love it! How exciting, that’s awesome.
I’m excited for the changes!

also an original user of TGTB when level 3 had challenging word cards. love how it is designed now. would like level 4 to follow the same way.
I agree!
I almost can't wait to order this I'm waiting to see if they come out with any new science unit that we might want. ❤

I miss the science units coming with the pdf :(

I downloaded the free version to scope it out!! :)
What do you use for history for the younger kids? I have a third grader and am so lost with history
