Nicely done. Felt like we were sussing it out together in real time. I see that you read instructions like me, ie only half of ‘em! That fuel was great the way that there was no fumes or smoke, very useful.
The most important thing to protect is our sanity. Do whatever it takes to maintain a balanced, rational mind. Little nature-breaks are perfect for lowering the intensity of the fear-porn and chaos of everyday living in this turmoilic time. Having a camping boat sounds like one of the best ideas. As for mortgages and loans,... get rid of. They are shackles to the system. Surely it won't be too long before homeowners are put through a .gov(oneworld) legislation manifesto demanding more strict adherence to some 'carbon/climate/home-efficiency tests'. The bar will surely be, or creep up to be, higher than the average householder can economically afford to upgrade to. Happy boating Steve. Enjoyed the update. "CHEERS!"
I am really glad you did this video because I've been buying this stuff for the best part of a year to build up a stock of it. I was thinking recently, imagine me during the apocalypse opening up one of these packs to find it's just wood shavings! 🤣 Because you can shake it about and hear it but you don't want to open up all your 25 year tins to check it's actually food in them! So thanks for that 👍
The thing about thinking of the future is that it doesn't work if you don't have all of the information, all the time! Garbage in. Garbage out! As the saying goes. Remember a few things, though... ... In our lifetime, governments have always done what they are doing. Try and recall what ACTUALLY happened. ... Spending has ALWAYS diminished. ... saving have always decreased. ... food always tastes better homegrown. ... UK folk have always dreamed of being somewhere else and preferably sunnier. ... Unless you speculate, you dont win. So, just chill. Dont put all of your eggs into one basket. Split your options. Do nothing rash, whilst preparing for the outcome. Cheers 🇬🇧
Nicely done Steve , chilling and shutting out today's issues is paramount, good luck with the shop I wish you success, a tip get a Lancashire hotpot mre , a hard bread roll cut out the centre fill up with the mre and tell me how full you feel lol . Stephen
That ferro looked annoying. Hope none of the spiders fancied you for a quick bite. Hope your shares come good for you. Kudos to add a shop, and encourage use of this with membership discount. Clever.
I didn't check the ferro rod first, just did it all improv really. Yep those spiders...I got a couple but I'm definitely hoovering the bed before I stay on there! Thanks for the comment 👍
i miss the hexi tabs you would get in the stove... great preps. Lots of people going to be in the same situation with the mortgage :/ all the best brother.
To put out, close the stove.
This is great. I have been considering becoming a member for a few weeks now so this has made me sign up.
Welcome aboard! Thank you for your support.
Be worth testing how long each tab lasts on its own and let it burn out naturally.
Yes, makes sense.

Thanks Steve and good luck with everything. ❤

Thank you! Your suggestion sounds superb. I might do that on a cold day on the boat!
It'll warm the cockles of your heart Steve 👍@@everydayprepper
Very important comment about comparison to others living in hell on a daily basis. New sub.
Thanks for the sub. Appreciate the comment.

Did you not have a fixed interest rate?
No but there's more to it than that.
Oh I’m sure. Wasn’t sharp shooting. Life is complex sometimes. I’m not worried about you. We prep very similarly.
Thanks I needed a reminder that my day to day stresses are a case of "first world problems"
Great bug out plan steve and a chill break from life. Best if both
You need to file the spine of the mora knife to get a good spark, moras have a rounded spine, file it flat an it will make a great spark
