Turn on ignition bike does not have to be running. Turn on your hazard lights and leave them on. Turn ignition off and back on that should be it. What type of led did you install? Was it the Harley ones?
Wow. Thanks Roger and thanks for the video Carl. I just built a 2020 iron 883 with the hammer performance 1275 kit and put LEDs in and this was bothering me like crazy but worked perfectly. Also nice seeing someone from CT on UA-cam I’m in Griswold.
Worked perfectly to get rid of hyperflash on my 2004 Sportster. Did 30 second on the four ways. I have Custom dynamics LED’s up front, Auxito LED bulbs in both rear turn signal housings, and in the brake housing, a Wisamic LED headlight. Thanks
Well I spoke too soon. It worked until I started the bike up and it went back to hyperflash so I do have to get the equalizer for my 2004 but like you said it was worth a try.
Must be fun rolling around on that stool! I have an LED headlight from Eagle lights. When I turn on the high beam I get a red warning light on the speedometer. Going to try this flasher method. Probably cost $200 at the dealership. Thanks Roger and Carl😊😊😊😊
Not sure if it will work but its worth a try. Maybe turn it off with the high beam on. I don’t know if the bike will turn on with it still on. Its the computer seeing the load when you turn it back on I believe. Thanks for Watching Andy.
Carl, gave that a try, it didn't work. The headlight goes out when the key is off. I had called Eagle Lights when I noticed this and they sent me wire with an electric component in it. Never tried to install it since I knew why the red warning light was turning on. Oh well...😊
Didnt work on my 2021, indicators flash OK, just on the dash it flashes fast but only on Left and Right turn. The hazards flash normal and so does the dash on that option.
It works on fatboy 2015. On the speedometer the turn signal green arrows was blinking rapidly after changing brake to led with turn signal built in that i got from amazon. (to install bigger saddlebags i had to delete the stock rear signal, so instead of relocating them, i went the easy route, and installed a led rear brake light with turn signals built in….
Yep this works
I tried it today on my 2010 sportster
Fixed the hyper flash after two attempts
Very Glad to hear that it worked. Thanks for letting me know. Appreciate you checking out the video and commenting.
👍🏻 I have a 2007 Nightster and I was gonna try this before I went out and bought something I didn’t need.
Thanks Roger and Carl!!! You will save hours of investigation!! Thanks again for this trick!! Its work!!
Np I thought it was a pretty cool easy fix. Had to share. Thanks for watching
I tried this on my 2018 Fatboy and it worked perfectly thank you so much for uploading this video.👍
Np glad it worked
This is perfect. I have the exact same bike (2018) and finally put LED indicators on it as well. Going to head out and try this now! Thanks!

No prob Carl. And so much for the theory that the trick only works on certain years.

Nice set up back there Carl. Cheers!
Thank You. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Worked on my 2019 Road Glide Ultra. Couldn't figure out why the indicator was twice as fast as the actual signal. Thanks again.
Np hopefully it helped
Hi! Do I need to change the relay? 2019 XL1200X
I didn't have to replace any relays just did the procedure in the video
It works! Thanks for the tip! 2024 Fatboy 114, one attempt fixed it!
Awesome glad it worked. I was very happy myself when I didn’t need to buy something else to fix it. Thanks for watching and sharing the results.
It worked on my ‘24 Road Glide! Thanks so much 🙌🏼

@@MotorcyclingwithCarl lol it only worked briefly. The same problem returned. Would you have any suggestions?

Thats to bad everyone with newer bikes have been having great success. Thanks for checking it out
If it dont work it not hard to wire in a 50 cent resistor on each light with the issue@MotorcyclingwithCarl
I have a 23 street glide and yes this fixed my issue! Thank you
Nice. Thanks for watching
I must be doing something wrong because I still have hyper flash on my 23 street glide

Didn’t work on my ‘06 Night Train.
Worth a try. Thanks for checking it out and trying
Doesn't work on a 2022 FLHR. Tried it 6 times.
That sucks sorry to hear that
It’s not on the manuals because the after market companies selling “fixes” for this problem would lose money and they work together. Maybe?
Your probably correct. It seems everything is about the almighty dollar now. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Great sub !
Thanks for watching
Didn't work on my 2013 sportster 883
That sucks alot of people have had success. Thanks for watching and trying.
@@MotorcyclingwithCarl might be because it's aftermarket?
Did not work on my 15' V-Rod
Someone else said try just leaving your flashers on for more than 30seconds.
@@MotorcyclingwithCarl I tried 3 minutes also
