I have been training since 1997. If you are learning bjj now you are in bjj learning heaven. These concepts were never taught in from any of my many instructors.
I love Professor Machado! I was at his seminar in CT. What a great person and always a privilege to learn from him! @41:25 And that sneaky wrist lock from full guard...niice :D
Wow! What an amazing example of the invisible Jujitsu taught from Master Carlos. I’ve seen these moves executed by different black belts but never made the connection to deal with the pressure of being on the bottom of side control. Thank you for sharing this video. It’s a true wealth of Jujitsu knowledge. Coach Al
There is a whole game that happens in side control and people never play it because they are so desperate to get out of it. Step one to dealing with side control, get comfortable in side control lol. Mostly we are just torturing ourselves lol.

Just ran across this, and I can't believe I hadn't seen any of his content before. What a legend, and a truly fantastic teacher.
Master Carlos is amazing on so many levels. Such a complete teacher.

As always a class act. Machado has inspired so many of us in our jiu jitsu journeys. Learn something new from him each time.
These are some very deep details.
